Very poor poor customer service! Had a fuel injector replaced. Now the same issue same cylinder. Made a call to get it fixed and they can’t even tell me what they replaced $600 dollars later. In what world do you replace parts and have no record of what you replaced. I have a great social media following. I will make sure no one falls victim to this pep boys.

Took my kia in for a fuel pump issue they fixed it, it started acting up a week later and again they fixed it, now it's doing the same issue again left it with them for the day supposed to test drive for 30 minutes to notice the fuel cut issue and they lied and said everything is fine but yet my car dies and starts back and as I'm driving starts to bog and act like it's going to die again the guy from the front desk said my trans is bad lmfao ok dude it would go from first to second if my trans was bad avoid pep boys they are way overpriced and do crappy work

Thank you to Jason and his crew today with helping replace my battery. I know although it wasn't a big maintenance job needed, but he took so much stress off my back today. I would like to point out that as a cooperation, I think not only is it irresponsible, but absolutely horrendous that your company is comfortable allowing your Az employees to not have air conditioning in these temperatures. As a million dollar company, you should do better for your employees; they're the only reason you have a business.

Scheduled oil change appointment and when I arrived they did not have the filter or attempt to contact me to let me know they didn’t have it. This is the second day in a row that they have failed to contact me in time to reschedule, wasting my time and gas to drive out to them just to turn right back around.

Made an appointment online, when I got there they told me I should never make an appointment online (why make it an option then?) because now they had many appointments stacked up and could not give me even a rough estimate of how long it would be, as though I did something wrong and was inconveniencing them lol. He pretty much tried to talk me out of getting any work done there and he succeeded as I left and they didnt say a word, apolgize, pretended they were sorry, nothing. I don't really blame him though as the AC is broken in the shop so probably should let everyone go home at this point as working in that heat is understandably making them crabby I'm sure.

I recently bought my vehicle here for an AC fix paid just under 400 and told the job was done. AC went out again less than 3 weeks later and when i brought it back in they didnt have time to even look at issue. Reaching out to corporate had a very similar response. They are unprofessional and dont stand behind their work because you're just a number and youve already paid by the time you see they didnt do what you paid them for. Unless you want to wind up in small claims court id avoid this establishment and go to a company that has no problem standing behind their work and if they mess up at the very least find the time to make it right.... I have done hundreds of reviews good and bad and the 150k plus of you that have read them you know im fair and honest hope this review helps you all find a decent shop in this hot city.

I saw their ad for a free AC check and made an appointment. When I went there, they told me they just turn the AC on and off to see if it's blowing air. I can do that myself! What's the point? They didn't even check the car. The greeter was also very rude, speaking so fast it was hard to understand him. I don't know how this business can still exist after I saw so many bad reviews. It was my fault for not checking the reviews first; it was just a waste of time. I will never go back to that business again.

The front desk rep was trying to fear monger me into getting an 800$ job done with them for my brakes/rotors he told me if i went somewhere else they wouldnt do as good of a job he also said if i waited to get my car serviced i would crash! I also dont like that Pepboys has taken away the option to bring in your own auto parts thats needed for your car to be able to save some money! The rep tried to say its due to liability reasons but if the customer signs a waiver that ensures they are aware that the company wont be liable for defective parts etc etc theyll know the overall lies upon them and they cant sue Pepboys. But to make it to where youre forced to buy their auto parts and still have to pay for labor that will end up being super expensive is insane! Pepboys is now being greedy and very misleading in certain things hoping to scare you to get auto work done by them only smh!

Service quality is going down and prices are going up. Upon picking up vehicle the associate did not give any information on maintenance performed and when driving later the same day we found that the underbody panels had not been properly secured and started rattling under the vehicle, requiring us to drive 20mph home to avoid further damage to the vehicle. Will not be servicing any vehicles with this location in the future.

I got a quote to replace a sway bar on a Corolla. $87 for labor only. I made the appointment two days later. When I got there I was told it's $500. I did not get the sway bar replaced at Pep Boys but I did end up getting the lifetime alignment thanks to Israel.
Today my daughter went in to do an alignment as I purchased the "lifetime alignment" package. On the phone she was told to go in for the alignment. When she got there she was told the warranty is voided because she got two new tires from another tire shop.
This store brand is a scam. Do not shop here as they will not honor their written lifetime warranty.
