Sahuaro Ranch Park is a historic ranch and park offering a lovely and quiet place to walk. It provides a fascinating step back in time to Arizona ranch life from the 1880s to the 1930s, featuring the original 1895 home and outbuildings to see from the outside. The tree-lined paths are great for running, walking, and exploring with family. The park is excellent for picnics and sports, with plenty of tables, space for kids to run, two playgrounds, volleyball courts, and reservable baseball and soccer fields. There is a dog park and lots of grass and trees. Visitors may see bunnies, pigeons, and peacocks, along with awesome flora, though the main flock of peacocks is no longer resident. Occasionally, a stable building hosts free art exhibits. The park has lots of free parking and two public bathrooms. It is free to walk the grounds, though there are no guides.
Had the privilege of being the first group of people to tour the main house since Covid. What a beautiful step back on time. Sauaro Ranch Main House The Main House was built in 1895, and is a window in to Arizona ranch life during the period of 1880s to the 1930s.

This is a fun trail for running walking or watching the peacocks with some shaded spots. It can get crowded with moms and strollers but the old farm and ranch history makes it worth visiting.
