“My youngest has been going here for a year and a half now. He started in the infant room and has moved his way up to toddlers.

As an infant, he was particularly picky when it came to getting his bottle. His teachers were always patient and will to go the extra mile.

As he's leveled up, all of his teachers have been so welcoming and still go the extra mile. Whether its getting crafts done early so he can be included or letting him be their helper after a tough drop off, we know he gets exactly what he needs.”

“Developing minds is the second childcare center that we have been with and we are so so so impressed with the staff. They deeply care about your kids. I love that they follow a school year and that your child has the same teachers and same classmates for an entire school year, as our previous center did not do that and moved kids as they aged out of classes. We saw our son get stressed in the previous type of environment (he had sleep regressions and would cry a lot), but he absolutely thrives in this one.

The founders Deena and April deeply care about the kids and over the course of the year we noticed that basically the whole staff knows our kid, which has been really special. We've created friendships with other parents and feel so comfortable with every teacher we've ever interacted with. Plus our kid hardly wants to leave when we pick him up! The staff here is truly a second arm to our parenting team.

I'm not sure where those negative reviews are coming from, but I would take them with a big grain of salt.... especially the ones that don't give any context or story as to why they are having an issue.”

“I as a parent have had the pleasure to have my daughter be in Mrs. Waffas class room for almost a year year and a half . She is an amazing teacher, she has been great to my daughter taught her so much. My daughter was scared at first but Mrs. Waoffa made her feel so comfortable she is an amazing teacher could not ask for a better one she is just great. Thank You for everything you have taught my daughter now she will be ready to move on to kindergarden because of you. We love Mrs. Waffa so much.

“I have my infant and toddler enrolled they have been enrolled for almost a whole year now and I can say I absolutely can trust this daycare with my children. I enrolled my 6 week old and can go to work knowing my baby is safe in the hands of their care team. My toddler is a little handful and they have worked so well with me in trying to help understand how he handles his feelings and can count on them to caring and taking the extra time to understand his big emotions as well and he is doing so much better in learning how to control his emotions properly. So grateful for their team.”

“We’ve had a great experience at Great Beginnings. The staff is kind, creative, and does a great job keeping parents updated on behaviors and daily activities. We originally chose them because of the caring staff and convenient hours, and we’ve been very happy with our decision.”

“My two daughters have been attending this daycare for over 5 years. And I have to say all the teachers are nice and when you have a concern or ask for a specific request they do their best to abide by it. They are also so good about giving updates with my children's activities and sending picture of the crafts or interactions they are doing! My youngest daughter started in the infants with Ms. Maria all the way to Ms. Jo in Jr. K. I have to say all the teachers are amazing. Especially Ms. Maggie, Ms. Julie, Mr. Nathan and Ms. Jo.
Ms. Jo's class is so wonderful, she does so well to prepare these kids for kindergarten. The education she gives is amazing. My daughter is learning to write her ABC and she is 4 years old, she gets to color, paint, play games, etc all to build hand/eye coordination and she has given me tips to help my daughter with separation anxiety and it works! She makes the Pre K graduation so memorable for parents and the students. She is a really wonderful teacher and my kids adore her!

“Honestly a great preschool. My son has been here for about 2 years, transitioned classes and progresses daily with vocabulary, social skills and more. The teachers are amazing, detail oriented and much more. I am consistently reassured that my son is being cared for, educated and surrounded by a great team!”

“I absolutely love this daycare. My son has been going over a year now and me and his dad recently had to do fifty-fifty custody, so he doesn't go to the daycare. All the time, but even the weeks that he's not there. They still include him in the parties. And they still make him little gift bags. And this is the most amazing daycare. If you want somebody who's really going to care about your child, please bring them here.”

“I would like to first begin by saying Skyrise school at 51st and Peoria has been an absolute blessing to our family. Everyone who works there are beyond incredible. The communication and the care for every child there is exceptional. My child is so excited to go to school every morning and the teachers and staff welcome our child with the biggest smile and greeting and the children know they are loved and welcomed. Skyrise has an app for parents to use/ view and they list every detail of the day. Everything from meals, activities, diaper changes/ potty training. I couldn't ask for a better daycare provider to care for our child. Shout out to Alina, Hilarie, Laurie, Sarah and Rosa and everyone else I didn't personally list. Y'all are absolutely amazing and I'm so very thankful for you everyday. I know our child is in good hands when they are at Skyrise and I will personally use this daycare in the future and certainly refer them to anyone looking for such great childcare.”

“My daughter has been attending here for a couple months and she’s already become so much more talkative and independent compared to her last 2 daycares. What I really appreciate the most are the consistent staff members in her toddler room

“This is our first experience with Little Scholars. After touring 7 local private schools we chose little scholars due to their clean facility, friendly staff and well taken care of playgrounds and play area. After speaking to their team, we learned how dedicated they are to each individual child's needs and commitment to fostering an inclusive family-like feel to the school. They also offer before and after school care & holiday camps which are really helpful for all working families. We're so grateful to have found this school amongst the many options out there. Overall its been a great experience. My child has learned so much so fast and I feel like the teacher & entire stuff genuinely cares about my child and every child who attends. They also provide breakfast lunch and snack and are very communicative about how my child is doing every day. Overall, I'd recommend this school to anyone looking for a program for their little one.”

They let us know when supplies are needed and are understanding with the change of hours due to work flexibility.”

“I think it's great that the Peoria Unified School District is open for in person learning. They are also allowing spectators (parents only when I was there) at the basketball games and at no charge.”

“SSP is the most wonderful school. Both of our kids have attended SSP, and we are about to begin our final year at the school. The teachers and staff go above and beyond by giving the kids freedom to learn and grow through various activities. Some of their favorite memories are gardening, the large playground and outdoor space, foam and snow days, and all of the family events throughout the year.

Our oldest son started kinder last year and SSP did a fantastic job getting him ready for that major transition. The teachers have become an extended part of our family, and the low ratios ensure the children are all getting their individual needs met. We’ve made so many wonderful friends at SSP, and our kids have loved going. We highly recommend the school to anyone looking.”

“If you are looking for smaller class sizes, hands-on learning, and an exceptional staff who truly care about your student's success, I would highly recommend Atonement.

My daughter & her husband moved their 6th graders to Atonement this year, which was a difficult decision at their age. It was quickly apparent what a great choice they had made! Their children are excited about learning, and highly motivated to do their best.

The school offersa variety of field trips, projects and hands-on practices. There are tons of extracurricular activities, like football, volleyball and cooking classes.

Atonement School welcomes all into a community where parents & children are respected. If your family is seeking academic excellence, character development and Christian values, I would highly recommend this school! As a grandmother and a former elementary teacher, I am thrilled that my grandkids have the opportunity to attend Atonement!”

While we briefly explored other daycares and preschools for our younger boys, we eventually found our way 'home' to Busy Bees. “Absolutely loved working there and miss the kiddos. Many of the teachers there only care for the paycheck than the actual job. Always on their phones and not tending to the children's needs. Teachers are not friendly to newly hired teachers also a reason why I left. Over all I loved being there with the kids”
