December 2023 by Kimo G
At WF we did a large deposit on 29th November. They said 5k will be available the 1st of December and the remaining would be available the 5th of December. We'll they changed it to the 8th of December. They said the check didn't clear and will run it again on the 7th of December. Well some one lied. The bank that issued the check said it cleared. It doesn't take ten days to clear a check. Once the check clears we are closing our account. Also I am debating to file a complaint with the FDIC.

Bank Manager needs to be more people friendly. I guess that's why you have a low rating. Maybe he can take a training course and learn.

A very upset customer comes in for a very serious banking issue that needs attention ASAP has to wait 1 hour+ because "all managers are in a meeting". Maybe managers should have meetings before bank opens so someone can actually help customers."It will be quite a while..."You don't even wanna hear about how much money is missing from my account right now....Go to a bank that has good customer service AND a competitive interest rate-- WF is not that place! I'll be leaving in 5 minutes and calling my attorney

Just opened a new checking account today. Tina was the employee to help me set it up and she helped make it easy as pie. I'm happy to be doing business with this bank again.

Made me wait 40 minutes with the expectancy that my account verification letter would be printed; which takes 2 minutes. Then front loaded another client.

I'm glad I don't bank here unfortunately I have to pay my rent with WF.Two tellers but neither one can operate the drive-thru, "just not enough staff". Why does the customer have to be inconvenienced for this issue? With all the data collected and planning modules crunching numbers how can they not figure out how to offer great customer service while being short-handed?!?! Robots will have your job...

I signed in to see a personal banker. I waited 30 minutes before he was done with a previous customer before he helped another customer who walked in after I did. He didn’t acknowledge me or mentioned he had an appointment. Common courtesy would be to acknowledge your customers and say it may take x amount of time to be assisted. For this type of customer service I plan on making an appointment to close my account.

I have been a wells fargo customer for 15+ years and the 67th ave and Bell rd location is the worst I have ever been to. We went in to open four accounts. My husband, brother, and sisters were planning on switching to WF from thier Bank. I talked up WF because I have been there for years. The "guessing" manager came out after 15 min and asked what we needed and why we were sitting there, the place as empty with staff talking in thier little groups. We stated we needed to open four new accounts. He said there isn't enough staff and we can make an appt gor another day and hopefully we ont wait linger then a couple hours. We driver to chase and opened up all accounts in 15 min.

The hours sucks and they don't want to help open up a joint account. The lady is a liar, the other Wells Fargo said it takes 30 minutes. She is lazy and doesn't want to do her job. I don't have enough time she said. I will go to Bank of America. They are open until two. The lazy bankers don't want to open an account at Wells Fargo! When I step in there 40 minutes before closing, they should still take me. Oh we are not allowed to help people past closing.... Poor customer service. Lazy lazy lazy. Liar liar liars! It only takes 30 minutes to create a joint account not an hour! Wells Fargo should be open 7 days a week like the other businesses and finish helping customers past closing! Poor business!!!

I used the drive thru ATM today. I got to the end of my withdrawal transaction where the system asked if I would like a receipt. The next thing I received was an “Out of Service “ error message letting me know the ATM was having an issue and I should use another ATM nearby. I didn’t receive the money or my card, so how can I use another ATM? I went inside the Wells Fargo since there were no instructions given as to how I was to retrieve my card and money. I waited in line with 2 people in front of me for quite a while to speak with someone. The teller advised me the ATM was third party owned, as opposed to Wells Fargo owned. He said I could start a claim with that company but he didn’t know when the machine would be serviced. I lost it because as I explained to the teller, I needed the funds for medication. Now I don’t have the money or my card to get the money elsewhere. He offered me a manager as Crystal was already coming to find out what was going on. She informed me I needed to call my bank since I don’t have an account with Wells Fargo to assist with the issue with their bank. She advised there was nothing Wells Fargo could do even though their name was on the ATM and on Wells Fargo property. She said a claim could not be started on my behalf as the teller said, I needed to call my bank and have them deal with the issue. Bottom line: it’s not their problem. I did advise her several times I would not be able to have medication of which I NEED, but there was no empathy, only an “I’m sorry you feel that way” when I told her that their horrible customer service was the reason why I didn’t have an account there. The whole thing was not their problem and how dare I bother them with another bank’s issue. The nerve of me to think for even a second that they should be responsible for that ATM…with their name on it…on their property…

Teller Taylor was super gracious and helpful in my banking transaction at 67th and Bell Ave. I had visited the 75th and Bell location just prior to meeting Taylor, and Taylor's customer service skills put the manager at the 75th and Bell location to shame. Great job, Taylor and Thank You?
