It was such a beautiful time out there this time of year. March is a perfect time to golf here and the views are impeccable. Breakfast burrito after 9 holes is awesome!

Super nice staff. No waiting on holes. The course is in great shape. My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing but fun golf game. We will definitely be back!

I'm gonna say it... one of the best courses in the valley!! Course conditions are always great, staff are amazing, restaurant is delicious... this place just does it right and keeps the prices right. Highly recommend playing here.

For this time of the year, Mountain Brook is in great shape. I wasn't sure what to expect. With Dino Mountain just up the street, and Superstition Mountain just down the road. It really has it's work cut out to compete with them. However, even though this course is not in the same level as them. This place has nothing to be ashamed! Fairways can be narrow at times, and bunkers are placed to really give you a hard time. Greens are rolling very true, and the course is in great shape. They do tend to send a lot of golfers out. We were smooth sailing until we hit the turn. We caught up with the people who teed off on the back nine.Other then that, I can not complain. Had a lot of fun, great scenery, and great company.

The course is in great shape, and the Ruben sandwich never disappoints at the Prospector.

The owners/ groundskeeper are doing a great job with the upgrades to the sand traps. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Great views from many holes. $39 resident fee during summer is quite fair. Any golfer would be pleased with this course. Multiple t-boxes make this course as challenging as you want.

This review is for the RESTAURANT New owners changed the new n exciting menu the previous owners had initiated. They have returned to a cheap and unappetizing menu. Eggs? come in liquid form from a gallon jug ...they've cut corners on everything. Coffee, and Bacon- are terrible. The precious owners were implementing a prime rib night and many other enticing perks for the restaurant. This all went away when the new owners took over. The servers are not washing their hands and are serving people. Even though there are reminder hand washing signs. This restaurant went downhill fast. No excuse for sub standard food and beverage in an elite area like Gold Canyon. This community has higher standards. Period. It's an embarrassment and I will not be returning nor will I encourage anyone else to patronize this poor establishment.A pitiful disgrace to the community. What a shame.

Everyone who reviewed this course is Canadian and/or retired. Don't listen to them, they're just gate keeping a hidden gem. It's a very good course in the area. It plays a pretty modest distance but it's well kept. I've played 90% of the public courses here in the valley and can say with confidence this beats A LOT of them. Staff is nice. Only weird thing is their practice putting green doesn't have any holes cut lol

I live in the area and have played this course many times. They changed ownership a few years back and now their prices have sky rocketed. They charge nearly as much as the Gold Canyon resort now which is a much better course 5 stars. They are pricing out the locals. And their cheaper rates aren't until after 2ish and they want their carts in by 5. All I can say as someone who has golfed in different countries this course doesn't warrent a $140 fee. You are better off going to the Gold Canyon resort.

Course is in good condition but it’s too expensive. Go to Dinosaur Mountain if you want a better course for the same price.

First time playing this track and was very pleased. They hadn’t overseeded yet. Conditions from tee boxes to greens were solid! My friend and I walked 18. We were paired with 2 riders and still finished well under 4 hours (7:15am - 10:50am). Starter, Marshall and beverage cart service were great!

I will start by saying I love this golf course. I've played it probably 25 times. The layout is fun, the course is usually in good shape and it's reasonably priced. After today, I will never be back. I had zero intentions of playing the course today. Just a little range time to work on my game... but to be told I cannot use the range in the future unless I have a collared shirt on is utterly ridiculous. On the course, yes absolutely, but on the range? This isn't a private country club.

I just had a tee time at the Mountain Brook golf course in Gold Canyon Arizona the starting staff were very rude can’t anybody smile anymore I was just playing by myself and there’s a foursome ahead of me starting to play one personal hitter ball and wait around till all the other so his third ball will not bother to move forward the golf etiquette was the worst I’ve ever seen and Golf I will never played this concourse again even though it’s close to my home I’d rather drive somewhere else to play to get better golf course
