Never have much luck with this store. They Don't accept my insurance (United Health Care) for any prescriptions I've tried to fill. Today i tried to schedule an appointment for covid/flu vaccine and couldn't complete the task. I am a retired IT guy with about 30 years of experience so i don't think it was me not understanding how web pages work.

This Walgreens refused to give me a receipt for my purchase. She said it would be in my email. I wasn't sure she rang my items correctly, so I let her know I'd like to have a printed copy. She told me she could not give me one without going to the office to print it. Since there was not another cashier so she could not do that.I will not be shopping at the Gold Canyon Walgreens again

Honestly everyone here has always been super nice including the manager. I forgot his name... but every time I have to interact with MITZIE, she is sooo rude, EVERYTIME. She never has anything nice to say, she rolls her eyes when she has to do something, even just ringing up my items. I'm tired of dealing with her, it makes me never want to come back to this location but it's closest to my house. I'm always nice and friendly and haven't said anything to her to make her mad.

Changing my pharmacy to Fry's. I don't feel like a valued customer. Always disorganized and understaffed. Called in for a refill and needed to talk to a tech or pharmacist. I was on hold, they picked up and immediately put me back on hold 5+ times. At the time of this writing it has been 20 minutes.

We moved to Gold Canyon and decided to have our prescriptions picked here. It is a disorganized mess here. My husband went to pick up his prescription and the 1st girl couldn't find his prescription second girl no help. Pharmacist was running around like he was frantic. We were promised a call when it was ready and never got the call. Changing location and will not use this place again

Greetings,I seem to be doing what others have done and having an issue with this pharmacy/pharmacist.I travel for work and pleasure to California amend Hawaii. Part of the Walgreens chic is the ability to manage your prescriptions and receive your meds as needed. This week I returned to Arizona to work and asked to renew my medication, I asked one of the pharmacy technicians to review my prescription and was told everything was correct.Later I returned and mentioned that I have had some adverse problems when traveling and renewing medication.Once again I was advised by staffing this was correct and to return after lunch and your meds will be ready. I returned the following day only to e told the pharmacist will not release this medication without speaking to the doctor. Thanks.as you may have wondered this is a controlled medication and without it I don't sleep. Year's of shift work I guess. I have been under treatment for 15 years at the Mayo Clinic not the local urgent care. So if you want some compassion or empathy in the future/travels this Walgreens isn't a good idea They have forgotten patient care and goodness for anyone who needs their help in managing their prescription needs.Visit Costco or CVS instead Thanks regards RA

This is pathetic. The drive thru is unbelievable. It is long lines and there should be no excuse for this.

Cannot say enough about the entire staff at the pharmacy here. Changed prescription plans back to a plan that works with Walgreens and there were hiccups though no fault of the pharmacy here. Steve stepped up to help me and later in the day I returned with a few more challenges. Catherine dropped what she was doing and went way above and beyond, stating: " You have a dedicated team in this pharmacy to assist you" and she was not kidding. They have been so helpful and we appreciate all of them!

Absolutely TERRIBLE pharmacy. I work for a dentist office down the street and it takes forever to even speak with someone. The staff will pick up the phone to just put you back on hold for another 45 minutes. Sometimes even if we speak to a pharmacist/staff an angry patient will call us and let us know that the script still has not been filled. Somehow the only thing they are good at is losing our freaking prescriptions.

Worst Pharmacy, I am a provider, left on hold over 20min never spoke with anyone. Cannot leave a prescription for my patient. Insane. Controlled substance and patient in pain, and it must be called in. Completely, unprofessional. Its 10am. Not lunch time or evening. Get it together Walgreens, provide a providers VM line.

Manager of pharmacy operations was rude, abrupt and dismissive when I called to request, for the third time, that Walgreens stop contacting me and my provider about refills that I have not requested.

A lot of the staff in the pharmacy are very mean and rude, there are a few nice ones. I understand that they are very busy/tired and have to deal with rude customers, but please be nice to the ones that are being very nice to you all I came for was my prescription that was all ready and the girl was still very very mean to me didn’t want to give it to me at all she didn’t even want to check to see if it was in the system. Please just be nice and don’t abuse your power just to be mean.

The pharmacist on duty today is a real piece of work. Had s simple question that the pharmacy technician didn't feel comfortable answering, so waited to speak with the pharmacist (Asian gentleman), and I asked him to repeat his response, he mumbled it and was very sarcastic. I have even had him laugh at me. This guy needs a class in customer service., Or don't speak to any customer. Might be taking my business else where, what a jack*ss.

I highly recommend you go to Bashas down the street instead. I’ve come for numerous prescriptions and they’re either delayed, or I’ve waited HOURS for them to be filled. I’ve had prescriptions be marked in the system and after being on hold for 15-20 minutes each time to see what the problem is, it doesn’t get fixed. I’ve never been so frustrated with a pharmacy in my life. I don’t have all day to wait or run my life according to the pharmacy time schedule. If a prescription is sent in it should be filled in a timely manner.
