I used to.
Work at the store 18 years ago so I know how frustrating it can be because it's so busy. When I go there the employees are always so nice and have a good attitude. Yes, it's a shame if you have ice cream.Sometimes it may take a while to get out. But all in all I love that store

The evening cashier Steve is amazing. No matter how long the line is or how rude the customers are he just keeps the line moving with a smile on his face. I like when he's working because I always know I'll receive good customer service from him. Plus he's fast and efficient so I never have to wait in line long.

The people that work there are really nice, and my following critisism isn't any reflection of them.
Whoever is regional mgr needs to realize that this is a desert, with many full time residents. KEEP THE WATER IN STOCK. I can't tell you how many times I've been there and there's not even a gallon. This is gross negligence of corporate not knowing how to read the dang room.
It's the desert. Send water. Will be adding pictures if it isn't rectified.

Locks the door 10 mins before closing. Why have hours if you don't honor them. Most buisnesses with customer service allow patrons in to spend money before they close.

Always a mess have to shop form the overhead or the carts at the end of the lanes long lines, shelf's empty mostly the dairy dept ,prices are not ringing up correctly the clearance stuff ,stuff in the wrong spot pet aera is always a disaster ?

The Manager on 3/6/23 at 5pm, was just plain rude! He acted like I was inconveniencing him by being on the planet. Then lied in order to make the transaction and get rid of me. The good news is… he won’t be long for this position!

Worst experience. The cashier's were too busy trying to do their shift change that they literally just didn't want to do a western union transaction and tried to give us the run around instead of explaining the way it is done in their store!

DG is expensive. There isn't a grocery store in Golden Valley just DG, Family Dollar & gas station convince stores so they top people off.

On 7/23/22 at 12:34 pm I checked out of our Dollar General in Golden Valley Az. When I arrived home and proceeded to put my groceries away I noticed quite a few items where missing from my purchase!!!!! I Called the store on the chance the cashier forgot to put a bag on the counter for me to put in my cart. When she was asked about the items I was missing she told us that No, nothing was left behind. It was a lie. I was livid!!!!!!!!!!! She literally stole from me and proceeded with her lie!!!!!! I’m sure with the poor character such as this our missing items were probably not the only ones missing, I’m not the only one she has stolen from!!! I will be calling the Cooperate Office and make a formal complaint against this person!!!! For us senior citizens on a fixed income every penny counts!!!!!! Especially now!!!!
