This company is amazing!!! Richard the phlebotomist was so genuine, kind, and patient. I am a hard prick and he did a great job of making me feel comfortable. Richard needs a promotion!!! Not many people like him these days in our society! Class act! Dealing with a chronic illness and being sick and having to deal with getting blood drawn is so scary and exhausting and he made it more enjoyable. Again, this company is great, so is their staff!!!! I will never step foot inside a Labcorp or quest again after using this mobile service! Thank you so much! Keep running a phenomenal business.

I run a clinical group at a small Seattle area biotech company. We have been using 1st Choice Phlebotomy for the last 3 years plus to help us with small-scale blood drives to help with our diagnostic product development. 1st Choice Phlebotomy is flexible with scheduling and their phlebotomists come to our place of business on Bainbridge Island. Their phlebotomists are gentle, professional, and communicate with us through the whole process. We have no intention of switching to any other mobile phlebotomy service company.

Very professional and the tech was on time, we had Pedro that came out to draw my sister labs he was so kind very professional my sister has to have her labs done every 3 weeks we are looking so forward to working with 1st choice. I highly recommend them.

1st Choice Phlebotomy Service is great! It is imperative that my son has blood work done every month, and it is reassuring that they will come to my home on the occasions when we are unable to get to a lab. The technicians are all wonderful ....professional, caring and very GENTLE. We highly recommend them.

What a nightmare. I do not like having my blood drawn. The first time the phlebotomist was out, the samples were collected incorrectly and the lab could not perform many of the tests. 1st Choice sent the phlebotomist out again for a second collection. Same thing: the samples were collected incorrectly a second time.Due to lab turnaround time, I’m now five weeks from my first draw and I still don’t have the tests that I needed completed.Do not trust your health with this company. 1st Choice is now my last choice.Edit: In response to 1st Choice's responseThis is not an issue with the lab. Both times, they said the specimens were not handled correctly. Some specimens were frozen when they shouldn't have been, and other times, they weren't frozen when they should have been. Some specimens weren't even received, so it wasn't possible to perform the test. After the first collection error, I sent an email to 1st Choice explaining the errors. If there were questions or there wasn't enough detail in the req for proper handling, then it would have been good to know that, so I could have contacted the lab. My doctor said he'd never seen this in 25 years of practice. He contacted the lab for information on what was collected incorrectly and I sent this information to 1st Choice.I hired a competitor mobile phlebotomist, and told them I had two failed attempts. I sent the person the detailed collection instructions from LabCorp. This phlebotomist walked to LabCorp and picked up the kits for the draw. She made sure everything was collected correctly, and she walked it back over to LabCorp right after collection. After seeing the different types of tubes needed to collect the samples, as well as the preservation mechanisms, what I can say is the 1st Choice phlebotomist did not have the right tubes, nor did they deliver the samples to the lab correctly.It is very unfortunate that 1st Choice shirks responsibility for their collection errors, and instead blames LabCorp.
