I always thought aaa insurance and services were so great I have had it for 3 years now never had a huge problem til recently I was traveling home from arizona and my truck shut off think it's the gas pump these idiots were telling me that they can't do anything because I am towing a trailer with my car so I was a sitting duck on the freeway with my two kids I'm so disappointed what a huge let down

About to cancel all of our memberships and insurance. I unfortunately was unlucky enough to get Carmen for my agent. Basically couldn't figure out anything to help me out. Then she said I'll call you back in 5 minutes. It's now been a week and I followed up and left a message. If you are looking for professionalism then you should prob go elsewhere. I spent 10 minutes with a competitor and they had no issues finding what I needed.

Be very very careful with this mechanic operation. Brought my truck in because it was not starting. Got a call that I had "engine mechanical issues" and they were going to need to diagnose that and find out the issue. According to rep it was "bad news". I immediately got the truck. Took it to another mechanic. Put a starter in and the truck is 100% fine. This was a straight up money grab. When I asked if they checked the starter I was told no, based on their years of experience it was not the starter.

Not professional- Expensive- Caused me $750 for no need ! Refuse to further diagnosis or refund anything.
At first they seemed professional but when it comes to point they are not standing behind their diagnosis.
Im on a road trip from west coast to east coast . A traveler , but stuck in here around phoenix . This shop was my first spot and had me loose $750 for doing wrong diagnostic. I had to tow my car there cause while on highway to Phoneix because it was overheated and dashboard saying âstop safely now â and it wonât move after I pulled over . Servise manager Matt said they couldnât find any issue , everything works properly, even he said that I could continue my road trip and if it comes back that I can go to another AAA service on my way. Thatâs like sending me to Hell of Arizona - New Mexico -Texas in the summer heat, while I have overheat issue and towed my car there for it. After I went to bathroom and came back in less than 5 min , they said the light came back on and they were able to get read the code , itâs water pump . I said how are you guys sure ? He said my technician is tested the water pump and it was not working. So they are %100 sure the water pump needs to be replaced. They would charge me over $1000 just to replace water pump ( will be after market part) . I found it super expensive and not worth it to pay this much . I paid diagnose fee and found another shop replace $500 for me which is $500 less price with the same exactly part ( aftermarket) . As everyone isnât millionaires would do I took the one doing $500 .
Unfortunately the light came and the same problem is occurring.
I understand now how was a ridiculous suggestion about continuening my Road trip as of now I am at totally different mechanic and they were able to adress the issue with proofs , even the light is not on on . And the actual issue is not water pump .the power doesnât come to waterpupm . And the pump working with external power. So they are definitely had wrong diagnose which caused me $158 for diagnosis and $567 to replace the pump. When I asked for either a correct diagnose or a diagnose for being wrong on the phone with AAA manager MATT told me NO Refund. âWe can diagnose it again but you need to pay again.â
A branded shop like AAA shouldnât refuse their diagnosis. I am sure they were wrong because I said pump needs to be replaced without plugging in power .

We visited this AAA branch to get an International Driver's Permit ( which is required by many car rental companies out of the USA). We were sort of dreading the appointment because we already knew they would ask us to activate our membership again. We canceled our membership because of a bad experience last year in Gallup, New Mexico. We went to Walgreens to get 2 passport photos ahead of time, which saves money. There was just a short form to fill out and $20 fee for the permit. The entire process took 10 minutes. We spoke to two employees while there, who both inquired about renewing our membership. After we explained that AAA basically left us stranded in New Mexico for 4 hours ,they were both emphatic and understanding. The interior of this location is very nice. And parking is super accessible. We had a great experience

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CAR CARE EVER.... FROM BEGINNING TO END THE WHOLE CREW ....I DROPPED MY CAR OFF AT 7:30 THEY CALLED ME A LYFT TO GET TO WORK AND FIXED MY CAR TEXTED ME ALONG THE WAY SENT A SHUTTLE DRIVER TO PICK ME UP ON MY LUNCH TO GET MY CAR GAVE ME A COUPON BOOK AND LET ME USE IT TOWARDS MY VISIT TODAY...AMAZING ? I WILL BE USING THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN THANK U FOR GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND GREAT CARE AFTER FIRESTONE TREATED ME VERY HORRIBLE SO I WENT ACROSS THE WAY TO AAA AND BEST THING FIRESTONE COULD HAVE DONE SO I COULD USE AAA FOREVER ...AAA FOR THE WIN ? ?

Currently I don't have Road side assistance
I had to have my car towed to my car dealership service department, my car battery was dead. No other battery could replace it. So I called Toyota roadside assistance, they called AAA to have a contracted tow person to have me towed. And he (Hadi) was on time, checked on my car battery, charged it. Found the problem, got my car started. But I still wanted my car to get serviced. So he towed it carefully, safely and took photos of my car condition. I very pleased and satisfied how my tow process came through the rescue.

I have been with AAA for awhile and have been satisfied with their service...This last time that I needed Help alot of Glitches?They want you doing everything on a App.? What has Happened to people being Personable?The Vehicle was picked up taken to their Shop and they made sure we taken care of as far as getting Home. They Contacted me and told me the problem and what it would take to Fix the Issue...Following day picked up my vehicle and the only thing that got up under my skin was My Adjs. for seat mirror radio was altered? You we Fixing a vehicle Not going on a Road Trip! All I can Say.. other than that and the Mgr.Not doing a Follow Up ? I was Satisfied with My Service..But also B Ready to pay $$$ Great work just a bit Pricey...Again Guess You get what U Pay For

I brought my car into this location 12/3 due to my car continually stalling. The next day the service attendant Dennis called me and said after a diagnostic test and road test, they couldn't identify any issues but then proceeded to recommend that I get new spark plugs and a 4-point fluid flush, costing $630. He said this should solve the problem! So they supposedly did the job and I picked the car up. I drove it out of their parking lot and 100 yards up the road my car started stalling again; literally 5 minutes after leaving the facility! Upon returning to AAA Dennis became rude and actually tried to blame me for the now âmis-diagnosisâ?
So⌠they ran tests again now claiming itâs the air condition compressor and will cost me almost $2000 to fix!
When asked about a refund of the $630 for the unnecessary first diagnosis he dismissed it saying the work was already done!
Despite Dennis saying the manager Matt will call me to figure it out, there was never any follow-up, and no compensation was offered for the misdiagnosis. I highly advise against anyone choosing this AAA for service due to the lack of ethics, effective resolution, mis diagnosis and lack of professionalism.
