I've had accounts with BofA, Chase, Navy Fed, Credit Union West, Compass, Pretty much all the major banks, and have had to close them for reasons like, insanely high overdrafts or misc fees, poor fraud case handling, improper account management and all the headaches that came with .My grandparents banked with 1st bank since I could remember and they never had any other bank. That was my initial reason I went to 1st bank when my company needed a good bank to do business with. Now i have to say without a second thought or impartiality they are 100% zen. They handle issues when there are charges made to your account that shouldn't be. There aren't hidden fees on things like over drafts or because you-used-this-we-charged-you fees. Just good banking. I had charges on my account i didnt authorize and they fed exped my card to me and was here the very next day nearly. I'm here to stay.

Went into 1st bank branch On Friday the 13th to open new accounts lazy incompetent staff everyone was lazy except the lady at the teller desk she greeted us when we walked in the door however the regular banking staff they were lazy and not wanting to do anything until we kept bringing to their attention that you do have customers in the bank waiting for service and you people are just laughing and talking about what you want to do tonight and Oscar was the very lazy when we went over to him finally to get information he did not seem interested in giving any help at all. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THIS LOCATION ESPECIALLY FOR FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS

I have been to 3 other branches and this one has the best staff, always friendly, kind and helpful. They are always quick to call me if they have any questions on my deposits, and always resolve any of my problems really fast.

4/20/2018 This bank defrauded the United States Government & used the United States Courts to do it. When it stole from me it was actually stealing from the United States Government. This bank ignored my notarized statement. I have told the Federal Reserve everything & let the Fed know that I am willing to answer all the questions it may have. The United States Supreme Court has a record of the lies you & your lawyer told from 2016 to 2018. When you stole from me you were actually stealing from the United States Government. Notarized paperwork proves this it true. 5/20/2018 Supreme Court of the United States sent the paperwork back for corrections. Instead of sending back I filed a Joinder to add you to 17-17434.

Would not recommend this bank to anyone bank elsewhere. I've never had a problem with a check I've cashed and deposited here I did a mobile deposit on a check. They call me and tell me they couldn't verify it it's Columbus day the other bank is closed they immediately block me from logging into my online banking, I call and they tell me that they'll call back in 5 minutes 30 minutes go by and still no call I had to call back myself and then they put me on hold forever and they tell me they can't do anything over the phone when I'm currently out of state taking care of my business in Illinois glad I never opened a business account here will be telling all my employees and friends to review this place and all firstbank branches.

If I could give more than 5-Stars I would. Such an amazing experience each time I visit. From the free donuts to the warm farewells when I leave. This location by far has the best staff I have ever dealt with. Daniel, Bree, Susan, (I am forgetting 1 more) I owe the sucess of my business to you!
