Donate to help out people in need of good household items and clothes. I saw a lot of donations that looked like trash in the back. Please drop items off that are in working order. I send my other items to goodwill. Let's make it easy for these people who are trying to do good.

There is a reason I only gave 3 stars instead of 5 stars. There was a young woman in there with 2 little kids, and she was looking at artificial Christmas trees. There was one she wanted to get and as she told me, she has the money now and may not have it later. She wanted to be sure she had a tree for the kids. Continuing, she asked a blond hair worker about getting it, and the lady refused to sell it at that time. She said she was waiting to decorate it for that upcoming Fridays special sale day. That was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard at a thrift store! Oh, and they had several trees there and wouldn't sell them. Not good! This was absolutely messed up.

Oh, do I LOVE this place!!! I’m practically a “professional” thrifter, & Hope’s Closet is the best thrift store around! They recently expanded & somehow made it even better! It is clean & organized, the prices are phenomenal, checking out is efficient, & they do a great job posting their sales & fun finds on Facebook (& probably elsewhere too!). “First Friday” is always busy, but worth it!!! Sandy, Theresa, Becky & Henry (& more…still learning names!) are so helpful & kind.I am so thankful that a place like this exists, not only for the profits that go toward a wonderful cause, but as a domestic abuse survivor myself, I really appreciate that there is a safe place for others to come, to feel seen and heard. To heal from something from which strong stigmas can be attached…it’s painful, it’s hard, and it’s exhausting to try to do on your own. Thanks to all those at Hope’s Closet for providing hope and healing to a population so desperately in need!

I give them four stars only because of the program they connect with. I donated a lot of new items with price tags. Nothing old. I checked everyday for over a week to see if my items were put out in the the store. Nothing! Not sure what happened to my donations after I dropped them off. New people running the store are not as nice as the previous managers either. Sorry, Looking for another place to donate.

I love this place! They constantly have new inventory, so it’s exciting each time I stop by! You can tell the staff love what they do as well, and I enjoy getting to get awesome items while contributing to an amazing organization!

This store used to have great items a few years ago but they no longer pick up donations or deliver and you have to pay them over a hundred dollars to even pick up donations! I can understand paying that for delivery but to pick up donations? I'm appalled! I totally agree with the reviewer who wrote " who runs their business model this way"? I really would love to donate to this cause but because they can't or won't pick up items, won't accept donations on weekends which is when most people are purging, and have a donation window when most people are at work, I will have to donate my gently used items to another charity!! My biggest concern is that they are missing opportunities to further support the shelter and the women and children that need it because of the lax attitude towards donations. I wonder if they're passively discouraging donations other than cash? I'm sure their attitude towards "cash" donations are different. Either way, there is no hope for Hope's closet in it's current state of management. But, I do "hope" that they Hire a couple of drivers and a pickup/ delivery crew like they had a few years back to drive the truck that used to just sit unused in the parking lot. If the truck is operable, not addressing the driver issue is a missed opportunity for growth. The community is here to help. Please work on a better strategy to obtain donations.

I've been coming here quite regularly over the last 3 weeks and I've had nothing but a great experience. The staff I have encountered are always so kind and willing to help.I think their prices are awesome, especially compared to the goodwill across the street. They are always working hard to bring new things in and keep things organized, it seems.

I adore Hope's Closet! It's guaranteed that I'll always find something...whether it's fun dishware or an adorable outfit. Staff is super friendly and best part - it's supporting an amazing nonprofit.

I have used this store a few times recently and have positive experiences. The medical equipment is high quality, clean and the free rental policy is such a benefit. Employees there are helpful and friendly. If you are in need of temporary medical equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs etc. go there!!

This is a sweet opportunity to help someone, humbly serving them while getting what you need too.
