Palm Valley is a golf course closer to the Goodyear area on the outskirts west of Phoenix. It's a mid-range price course with 3 sets of 9nhole courses that you combine to play any you want. Their staff is great, super friendly including the marshals and clubhouse employees. The fairways and greens were in great condition as of early February and later in the day, prices go down by more than half. Overall a solid course to play and most of the time you'll want to make a reservation for a tee time at least 2 weeks before.

This course is my weekly go to course, Very good conditions. Greens hold nicely. Staff throughout the venue are excellent !!! ARCIS card is worth he price. The current rack rate of $109 is a little high. $89 to $99 is more equivalent to conditions of other courses in the area.

As its name, this is a course intelligently blend in the palm ? trees into the course design, in the way it symbolizes the state of Arizona, also the paradise of playing golf 365 days a year. The condition is well maintained, particularly the fairways are as smooth as carpets. The only thing is that the West course is obviously too old comparing to South and North.

I play golf at least two times a week sometimes three, I am a 7 handicap and enjoy the game very much, no matter how bad i play. If you are looking for a hidden gem that is a little bit of a drive from Phoenix give Palm Valley Golf club a try. The course is made up of three 9 hole tracks that all have unique characteristics. The course is always in great shape, the pace of play is excellent and the greens roll true and are always cut and well kept. But on top of the course attributes and the great superintendent that cares for this place, the staff there is second to none. We play there almost every weekend and we are one of the first ones out and no matter what is happening you can count on a friendly smile, some good information on the course conditions that day, ( frost delay, cart path only after the reseed, an area to avoid if there is course damage from falling trees, storms etc. All given with a friendly smile and welcoming attitude. The course rate is significantly less than courses of equal condition and playability making it a great value. The whole staff from the cart girls to Shannon in the restaurant treat you like you were at a private country club. I hope that this review will not get too many of you people going out there so I can't get a good tee time , ha, but i had to sing the praises of what a top notch public Golf club should be and so many times fall short even when you are paying twice to three times as much in Scottsdale. Keep it up Palm Valley !!

Played the course a few days ago. One 9 was closed for overseed, one just reopened and the other hadn't yet. Considering the time of year the course was in good shape. That wasn't the issue. The issue was the staff as well as the rules that Arcis puts into place. I am an Arcis prime member and also a member of the PGA of America and have worked in the golf industry for 20 years. The first issue our group encountered was one of the on course marshals, his name was DC. On the first hole there was confusion as there were multiple groups in the tee. DC showed up at the tee and just drove off down the first hole with no direction of who was actually supposed to go first. On one hole late in the round, one of the members of our group hit the ball in the dirt just off the fairway. He drove his cart to the edge of the grass with one wheel in the dirt. DC was behind the green and drove straight towards us. He took a path in front of the green and drove down the fairway to make sure we didn't hit and then lectured the other cart to keep the cart fully in the grass. When driving away, he drove thru the dirt to go talk to the group behind us. If you actually read this review you all know that this one wasn't that big of a deal for the course or the cart but definitely not the way to approach a group. Kindly wait until we finish the hole and let us know what needs to happen going forward if putting a wheel in the dirt is such a big deal. As an Arcis Prime member during the season you get a free meal with purchase of a round. Apparently starting this year the meal is done in only. With a pregnant wife at home, I was going to take the meal to go for her. The restaurant staff and the golf shop staff did not budge on a bad rule passed down from above. It is pretty par for the course for Arcis. Some locations are managed well while others make you feel unwelcome. More of a "no" oriented culture instead of "yes".

Played here with a friend greens are hard as nails on the front back it was soft and held the balls. Very expensive for the course. I think $25 a person would be more on par with what it should cost.
