TAKES FOREVER TO GET AN APT THEN THEY TURN YOU AWAY BECAUSE IT WAS PASSED GROOMING DATE my sons under Hospice care and tried to find a mobile groomer to no avail! Now that all the mobile grooms "were to busy" still blaming COVID! We tried PETCO who were weeks out then turn us away because she's matted!!!! She wasn't when I called to make the appointment she's been there before they knew her!!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR SHITZU TO PETCO

Great place for getting your dog, or pet groomed. Great rates and I trust the staff to do a great job when my pet is left

if you love your dog don't take them here for grooming. I can't believe I didn't see the reviews for this place sooner. They are all true. It was super close to my house but I'm even switching my dog food to not support this place

I go to petco strictly for tropical fish. My last 3 visits, I've had to go to the register and wait in line to ask for help with fish. Every single time, I walk back over and have to wait 10 minutes for someone to catch fish. I am done with petco!

Came in hoping to find pet rats, but left with a ferret instead due to an amazing employee making my girlfriend and I fall in love with the idea of a ferret. We were unsure at first but after reassurance, lots of talking, and lots of tips we felt we were ready to adopt our first ever pet, Po. The employees name is Kit and she earned herself and the store a 5 stars!

I was #2 in the checkout line. There was only one cashier on duty. Within minutes, the check out line became very long and was snaking down the main aisle of the store. Probably 15 people in line within minutes after I got in line. The only cashier got into a complicated problem with an elderly woman and knew it would take a while and she saw the line getting longer and longer. She requested additional help at the registers over a speaker that went out to the entire store. 5 minutes later, no one showed. She requested assistance 4 different times. After 20 minutes, yes....20 minutes, a young man and girl finally showed up. I was finally helped by the original cashier and she said it was the manager that finally showed up. Where was the manager and the other girl when the original call request went out 20 minutes before. As I walked out past the manager, I said that the 20 minute wait was unacceptable and did not get a response. I can't believe that a manager did not insist on coming out to help after 4 calls for assistance went out over the store's speaker system.

Called to ask about kitties. And the guy had awesome customer service. Unlike the other 2 locations I called. Close to them.

Great, clean petco location that has most of my pet care needs most of the time. I also enjoy the employees that are super helpful when I have a question or concern.

I would not recommend this store for dog grooming. I brought my 2 year old doodle in about a week ago for a bath and haircut. He did have some matting and we brought him in knowing he would need to be cut short because of this. When we picked him up he still had patches of matted hair on his body and his feet were not trimmed properly. We had to bring him back inside to fix this. He also had red cuts all over his body. These turned into sores that grew and bubbled and then popped, each sore spilling pus and blood. This happens when the skin is irritated and and then contaminated by a fungus. (Post Grooming Furunculosis- Large-breed dogs with thick wiry or short coats may be more commonly affected. The skin lesions on the neck, back, and tail are often painful. In thick-furred dogs (ex. German shepherds, Labrador retrievers, Golden retrievers, Welsh Corgis), the red, crusted, oozing lesions may be hidden by the fur, so shaving is sometimes needed to better visualize. The majority of patients feel systemically unwell with lethargy, fever, and sometimes, gastrointestinal signs. These systemic signs develop because of toxins released by the bacteria in the skin.) on top of this, he displayed other symptoms including bloody diarrhea, fever, and vomiting. This can be avoided by disinfecting grooming equipment regularly and dumping soap daily that has been diluted with water. Tools should be dried completely. Overall, on top of the grooming cost, we spent another 500+ at the vet for treatment. I would avoid this place for grooming at all costs.
