Worst service EVER! I tried to use delivery service for the first time. BIG mistake! About an hour after specified delivery time, NO delivery. I checked my bank account and the charge was displayed! I called the store to ask about my order and instead of owning up to THEIR mistake, they said there was a problem with my card! I then called the bank who explained that if a card problem were to occur, the charge would NOT appear on my account! Why did NO one from Safeway contact me regarding any delay? Why did the Safeway representative lie about my card and try to twist their errors back onto me? So now it’s OVER 2 hours past delivery time, my Just 4 U points have been deducted, my bank has been charged but I have no order and Safeway won’t return my calls! Obviously MY time has NO value as far as Safeway is concerned! The whole encounter seems dishonest if not fraudulent. I do not recommend Safeway. If you are looking for convenience, GO ELSEWHERE!!
