The front desk people were nice, but the billing person needs to be educated about people with disabilities. She pulled me aside to talk about some old bills I had insurance coverage for before I even walked back. One of them were labs regarding a highly sensitive life event. It dysregulated my nervous system hearing her go over it in a room full of people, I could barely breathe. I tried telling them I was autistic but she didn't hear me for some reason. The nurse even told her not to stress me out, that lady almost triggered a fainting episode, could have sent me to the ER. Super uncool. Next time someone tells you to stop talking please do so, you put me at risk and I couldn't finish my workday. I should be billing you after that.

Front office people could work on better customer service. But Sherrie the phlebotomist was Awesome. She listens to you and is so very kind. I request her every time!!

Incompetent staff. Went in for my 7am appointment, they call me up to the counter at 7:15 to ask for my lab order. I tell them I have a standing order which I gave to them the last time I was there. She tells me "oh our system is down I won't be able to find it. You'll have to go to another location and they'll be able to bring it up". I drive 7 miles to the nearest location and they tell me "oh we don't have a standing order in the system for you". Which means staff at THIS location didn't enter it correctly the first time I brought it a month ago. I fasted for 12 hours and took off time from work for nothing. Never going back to this location and I suggest others don't either.

They close at 10 but I made it at 9:30 and was turned away. They let 2 white women that went in after me but the Hispanic and black lady were turned away by the front nurse. I never felt like my race had an issue till today. Cause we were waiting outside for an address for an office but the white ladies said I know your almost closed but you think you can make an exception and the girl right in front of us said yes. Mind you we weren't rude we weren't yelling nothing at all just our skin was to dark for her.

I made an appointment for my 14months son to have blood work done as directed by his pediatrician. They sticked him twice and still couldn't get his blood. My son was screaming so terribly . His arms were bruised so badly the next day. My question is with the technology that we have today, why can they use the ultrasound guided to get blood from kids and hard stick patients?

Appropriately staffed, clean, fast, and the phlebotomist are excellent. Never had an issue whether walking in or if I've had an appointment. EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT are the perfect description.

Before leaving a review, I read others, and I guess I wasn't the only one that this Sonora Quest messed up on a time sensitive test. I made an appointment to get it done on a Friday and came in just for them to tell me that this type of test is special and is only done Monday through Thursday. Are you effin kidding me?!? You messed up on my test, gave me an appointment that wasted my gas and time, and you bruised me good the last time you drew blood. I have never experienced this at a lab before in California. You out done yourself Sonora. Ya'll need to update your system so mistakes like this won't happen again.

Did a breath test here. The first time they mixed up the two bags (pink and blue I don’t remember) so they made me do it in the wrong order. Then after that, they made me come back the next week to redo it. Also they don’t help explain anything? Like if you’re not sure what type of screening you need or test you need, but you describe it to them, they literally don’t help you and say whatever is on the paper is what we have? not really accommodating to people not understanding the names of these types of tests, which is really irritating considering they are the health professionals and the majority of their patients are older people who don’t understand medical terms.

Nice lab, run by professional people. Easy to get an appt or just walk in. Easy to find and plenty of parking.

I needed to have a fasting blood test.I made an appointment online for 7:30 a.m. I checked in at 7:15 using the barcode that was sent in my confirmation. I was called in at 7:30. My blood was drawn by a wonderful, engaging phlebotomist. Got a great vein on the first try. I was out at 7:37.I highly recommend having an appointment when you go. The lobby was packed when I left.

Not a great experience. Waited for 20 minutes even though we had an appointment. My baby had an important blood draw, and after 3 people, multiple tries, and 5 minutes of digging the needle in both arms, we gave up. Thanks!

Hello, on 4/8/23 I arrived to your Goodyear, AZ location located off of McDowell at 9:55 am. The listed office hours for Saturday are 6 - 10 am. The staff had already locked the door, so no patients could enter. The staff opened the door at 9:58 am to let a patient leave, when this happened I could see multiple patients still seated and waiting to be helped. However, the staff told me the location was closed and to drive 20 minutes to a different location. I must say, this didnt feel right and caused me to have very negative feedback about this experience that I am considering sharing on Yelp. If the office closes at 10 am, please dont lock the door or stop seeing patients prior. This is not ok.

This place is almost always busy. The phlebotomist who work here are the best. Never an issue drawing my blood. The front office staff is friendly and very helpful, IF you listen to them. The majority of problems experienced are not with the office staff or the phlebotomist…it is with our own referring medical offices, their staff and our doctors. The promise to fax our orders to the right laboratory. When there is a problem, don’t take it out on Sonora Quest staff, make sure you do your due diligence and check with the source, your referring physicians office.
