[July 25, 2023]I'm not a fan of going to the dentist or any Dr!I have severe health anxiety because I've had several bad experiences! I found this dentist on my insurances website & gave them a call! The receptionist that answered was very nice! She took the time to answer my questions schedule my appointment & get me right in! The front staff was very welcoming! I was taken back to a room within a few minutes! The dental assistant was amazing! It was very clean & convient! The x-ray machines are in the room so you don't have to go from room to room! The Dr. came right in examined my teeth & put my anxiety at ease! I was nervous because my teeth need work (from chemo smoking cigarettes & drinking soda) the Dr. was kind & reassured me that my teeth weren't that bad & that he was going to make them better! I thought it would cost a lot more than it is to have my teeth done! It is definitely affordable! I have to go back to get all the work done so I will leave a review after but I wanted to thank them for making it a pleasant experience!

Worst place for dental work i have ever experienced. It has been 3 years and multiple implant surgeries to fix what this dental office messed up on from improperly installed implants to the dentures not made correctly it has all been a nightmare! After receiving the dentures i noticed problems but when i brought them up to the dentist (Dr Bob) he referred me to another dentist saying he did all he was allowed to do and fixing the problems he created would cost more. 14K dollars wasted.

I went here in 2018 to have my wisdom teeth pulled. Just last week I began having pain in my back left molar. Turns out, the dentist left a very large piece of wisdom tooth in my gums and never said anything. This piece began pushing against molar and I had to have it extracted, and a crown put on the last molar at 7.5 mos pregnant. It's 4 days after the extraction and now I have an infection from all the decay the dentist left behind. Being pregnant there are limited antibiotics I can take and it would have been nice if the dentist actually followed up with anything, like an xray.Edit 1 week later: Due to the length of time the wisdom tooth piece was left in my gums, it got infection. This cause me to faint multiple times and have a seizure at 7.5mos pregnant. I had to be taken by ambulance to the ER to be checked out. They said I seized and fainted due to the pain and infection. I'm lucky I didn't get sepsis.

In December 2022 I woke up with the left side of my face swollen and my teeth in pain as if I got his with a mallet. I went to another dentist and he explained to me the night guards that were made are soft and not to be used by hard grinders. I needed acrylic guards. The wrong guards were made for me plus they were cracked from grinding hard. I went back to Suncoast to address this and while sitting at the chairs no one would really talk to me. The doctor was short with me and asked me what was wrong and I told him the guards are cracked and they should be acrylic and he said he would send it back to the lab to get different one and walked away. I asked the assistant what the lab's name and she had to ask the doctor and he said no name the guards are in house. I left unsure are they doing all three or one not sure what was going on. I told the assistant all three are being redone right? She said nothing. I got up to leave the exam room and I saw the doctor with his hands in gesture at the front desk as if to say he did not want to deal with this. He saw me and walked away and passed right by me without a good day or anything. The front desk is out in the open, no privacy. The entire staff of girls are all hovering over the checkout person staring at me. The checkout person tells me I could only get the one in Sept 2022 done because the other ones are over one year old. The office manager was not in and that she would call me later. At the desk, I was told that I should have told the doctor what I wanted. I replied, " I should have told the doctor"? What how to do his job? I told him my symptoms he should be able to decide from there. I made it specific clear I was a hard grinder. She then told me my insurance does not cover the night guards. I told her I know this I paid for them. Anything not to address for the wrong product being made by the doctor. I told them for now just do the bottom guard not the top and the check out person says you all heard that right you are all my witnesses. I then handed my release of medical records. The office manager had someone else call me only to say more of the same but I insisted you made the wrong ones. The office manager finally got on the phone only to tell me look "nothing is forever." I said I know that but if done correctly should last more than one year. I still have my old guards that are four years old and no cracks. I told her I am trying to resolve this and this is not helping. She said she would call me back after she spoke to the owner. She never called back. I did not expect her to based on her caliber. I checked the Suncoast website for a provider or staff name and there are no names on their web. There is no face to this company. I did send a letter to the owner, his name is public record, to the point, not complaining about the staff and no reply. I recently got a text saying they have been trying to reach me to call the office. Trying means other attempts were made but there were none. My new dentist said to hold off on the guards since I have a cracked crown that need to be replace. Suncoast saw that crack 8/2022 and said to me you do have a small crack but nothing needs to be done. This was a red flag right there. The hygienist that same day was aggressive and immune to human reaction. I was left with sores from resting the water suction on my lip as she aggressively moved thing s around, the worst. I told her to go easier but she was in a hurry for the next client and got annoyed. My new dentist is the face of his practice and his web reflects where he went to school etcetera as it should. I had no intentions of going back to Suncoast but then my night guards became a problem. I tried to resolve this matter knowing they would not. Good Riddance!

I have anxiety when it comes to sitting in a dental chair. Everyone in this office was so kind and so patient with me. The entire staff is very friendly and kind and the dentist and the hygienist both did a great job for me.

The staff at Suncoast dental are the best. Over the many years I've been coming here I've had cleanings, cavities filled and even teeth pulled. The staff is gentle no matter the procedure completed. The best part is they know your name!!

For general hygiene to crowns to invisaligners, Dr. Bob Balkar and the staff at Suncoast Dental in Goodyear are simply outstanding. So lucky to have found this practice. We won't go anywhere else.

Love this office! My kids and I have had a great experience every time we've gone here over the past few years. We drive from Surprise because we love the entire staff! The location near us is absolutely awful, so the extra drive is worth it.

I’ve come here twice so far, and I always leave happy. The dental hygienists are knowledgeable and take their time doing a good job. Thank you, Eileen, for the special attention you gave to my dental health. I didn’t even run to my mirror to check right away, because I knew she did her job well.

HUGE COMPLIMENT FROM A DENTAPHOBIC. Wonderful staff. Athena is a great Dental Hygienist. AND, Words do not fully express how patient and kind Dr. Bob is (and he is humorous). He transferred to Goodyear, from another SunCoast location closer to my home, and I followed him. I would drive hours to see Dr. Bob!

Some pretty awesome people, was in a bind when my significant other woke up with tooth pain & wasn't feeling well. Called Suncoast Dental and they assured me they could get him in an hour. They were all extremely nice and got him in as quickly as possible. Unfortunately we needed a oral surgeon instead, but we're given many locations to choose from. Although we didn't need there assistance they provided excellent service. Thank you again! Would definitely recommend them!
