Visionworks canceled my appointment without giving me prior notification. The company receptionist said that cooperate told them to cancel all appointments that they weren't able to confirm with a phone call. This is not stated anywhere they even sent me text reminding me that my appointment was in 2 hours. Absolutely atrocious customer service.

We just wanted to pick up my wife's contacts and the lady didn't say hi or acknowledge us at all. If you ever want to feel ignored or alone, come visit this place.

I hate to leave such a bad review of this location, but I've now had multiple bad experiences.When I first visited to get an eye exam, I didn't feel that the doctor really took the time to provide a thorough exam. The appointment was later in the afternoon, so maybe things would have gone better if I'd booked an appointment earlier in the day. Either way, when I received my prescription, I realized it was incorrect. After a couple of conversations with management, I was recommended to Dr. Betts at the Avondale location and had a great experience with him.A couple days after receiving my glasses, I noticed that they were not fitting well. I brought them back to the Goodyear location to have them fitted and now not only do they feel even less secure, there is clear damage/indentations on the frame where they were adjusted and one of the lenses doesn't seem as clear. This is a pair of $250 Ray Ban frames that are intended to last for several years and are now damaged 2 days after receipt by a Visionworks employee. I should have just gone back to the Avondale location in the first place and now I'm stuck with a pair of dented frames that don't even fit properly.

I was not greeted when entering the store. First time I’ve ever been in and walked around for a while before being acknowledged. The store was not even busy, but after a while more customers came in and then I was greeted. Not a great first impression.

My entire experience was exceptional at this location! All sales and office associates were great and my eye exam with Arra Apikian O.D. was second to none!

The staff was very polite and professional and was very knowledgeable and the doctor did a very thorough eye exam and let me know exactly what is going on with my eyes.

Easy accessing location, fast and efficient check in. Very professional and attentive to my needs. Understood my insurance and explaining was great and alot of choices in my insurance coverage for affordable prices.

Sarah was of huge help to me, in getting my new glasses correctly made. She pulled up my previous order and gave very specific directions to the lab, who then did a great job of creating the new glasses and sunglasses. I had ordered new glasses at 2 other optical places, both of which produced a poor product which I then had to refund. Thank you for the excellent service.

Pro: The staff and service is great. I feel they value my time and are prompt with the exam and wait times. Con: The amount of text reminders they send of appointment reminders is ridiculous, leading up from 3 weeks prior to your appt. You also have to verbally confirm and when you call wait times can be more than 10 mins. Why isn’t there a simple option to confirm via text?

Had a great experience. From the eye exam to the glasses department, everyone was so pleasant and helpful. Sarah, who helped me with my lenses, was such an angel. I won't hesitate to go back to this store again for my vision care.
