I am a 78 year old and have been purchasing vehicles for 60 years in states all around the US. I purchased a new 2023 Buick from this Dealership on 12/5/2023 and had the worst experience of any dealership I have ever visited. I visited them because they advertised $10,000 off the 2023 model and two Buick rebates I qualified for amounting to $1,750. I was greeted by Sean Murphy and got an offer for my trade in and a paper listing the sticker price and $10,000 discount and part of the rebates. I politely told Sean that was more than I would pay and left. The next day, I got Email from Andres Orr asking what it would take for me to purchase, and I told him more for my trade-in. I talked to Orr and afterwards, got a new sheet texted increasing the trade-in but less $750 in rebates. I quickly pointed this out and ended up going to the Dealership on 12/5/2023 and purchased the vehicle. When I got home, I discovered that my Bill of Sale showed the sales price $750 more than the Sticker Price. I called Buick Customer Service and they advised me to work with the Dealer directly. I had already talked to Sean Murphy and he asked his boss who replied that I had received all I had coming, so I decided to make my complaint in writing by sending copies by certified mail to the three Yates listed on the website. On 12/11/2023, I mailed copies addressed to Mike Yates, his Daughter Whitney Yates Woods, and Son Tyler Yates. The Post Office delivered all three on 12/13/2023, and on 12/15/2023 I received an email from Buick asking about my purchase experience and I gave a negative review. On 12/18/2023, I was contacted by Sean Murphy about my review. Not to apology, but the chastise me for costing him $6,500 because of my review. I took the liberty to google the Yates family and discovered that Mike Yates the founder had passed away from covid in 2021 but Whitney and Tyler had been interviewed several times and said they intended to treat all customers like family, have no haggle pricing, and make sure all customers were happy with their experience. I don't feel like family, I feel like their sales managers looked upon me as a MARK and it appears that the Yates support them. I urge those who feel they were treated wrong to google and read those interviews to see how they think you should be treated.

My only real complaint is that we had an appointment for 7:00 and after patiently waiting in line for 15 minutes to be checked in, our service advisor Luis decided to help someone else who just pulled up. Unacceptable, especially when you consider his attitude when I said something about it

Judith was a great customer service rep. However your prices are outlandish. 50 dollars for a simple tire patch it absolutely ridiculous. Will never ever recommend this place to anyone for servicing.

If I could rate ZERO STARS I would. I have never had such a terrible experience from a car dealership. Went into to see about trading in my car for a used truck. The car salesman Robert was the person to assist me with my purchase and he was very respectful. Then came time to run numbers. He brings out a paper with all the list prices of my trade in value and I thought it was somewhat under priced. My boyfriend and I ask if they can either offer more on the trade in price or lower the truck asking price. He comes back with unfortunately these are the numbers and I cannot change anything. My boyfriend asks to speak to his manager in asking about the numbers. The general sales manager Matt VanHorn comes out to speak to us and immediately has the worst attitude with my boyfriend and I and says, here's the deal, I'm not changing these numbers. It's this or no deal, he then proceeds to argue with my boyfriend and I and tried to make us feel stupid for asking for a higher trade in value on my car. We ended up walking out because Matt turned this argument into something else and wasn't even about purchasing the truck at that point. SAVE YOUR TROUBLE. DO NOT GO THERE. I should have read the reviews before going. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RUDE SALESMAN/MANAGERS!!!

I almost want to give a single star, but at least they are not as pushy as other dealers. I went for an oil change every time for the life of my vehicle, but they messed up and did not tight my oil filter. Made a mess on my pavers driveway and they did not own to fix the issue, they they have record of doing my oil change. Sorry, but this type of issue can become costly!

I bought a 2021 Gmc Sierra elevation pkg at Yates. I was told at finance that the extended warranty I bought covers a rental vehicle of the same type of vehicle I'm buying if the vehicle has to be left in the shop over night. This was a huge deal for me since a own a landscaping business and can not be without a vehicle. (No vehicle no work). Now that I have a list with 7 things that needs to be fixed they tellme I have to leave it there for 2-4 days to diagnose things before I can have a rental, in which I still have to pay out of pocket for some of it. First time I bought a vehicle at Yates and last time too, and I buy a new or newer truck every 2-3 years. Typical dealership nothing but lies.

My husband got into an accident and we went here to buy a new car for him. We saw a 2011 Nissan Juke online for $7500. We thought that was a good deal for the model it was and decided to go down to the dealership. The guy we talked to said the price for the car was actually $11k and that TrueCar listed it wrong. So we immediately said no, but of course he says he can get the price down, but we should test drive it first. We take it out and the AC isn't working well. We tell him and he says that's normal for Nissan and that it just takes a few minutes for it to warm up. 10 minutes later it finally starts working and he says he's going to have the service team look at it when we get back. We also notice cosmetic damage and he says we should expect that because it's a 2011. We tell him that price is too high and he goes to talk to his manager. He comes back and says he got it down to $9500. We still say no and tell him we want it for the listed price and he laughs at us. Literally laughs. I tell him if you get it down to $8000 we will take it. So he checks with his manager again. He comes back with about $8700. My husband says that's not $8k and he says he cant go any lower. At this point we've been here much longer than we would have hoped to bug a car outright with cash. We say yes and then we get stuck there for an additional 4 hours while they get the car ready. After they finally have it detailed the guy then asks my husband to drive him to the gas station because he has a headache and needs to put gas in the car, but doesn't want to drive it which was weird but okay whatever. The next morning we have issues with the car. I get a call from the dealership to ask about our time and I let them know the car is having issues and that I want to return it and finance something better that's on the lot. She says someone will reach out to me. Then I get an email asking if I had all my questions answered and I reply to it that I'm still waiting to hear back from somebody. They continued sending me these generic emails for days without anyone ever reaching out. I finally decide to set up an appointment to Nissan to have it looked at. They quote us $11000 in repairs. If I could give zero stars I would but given that isn't an option and that we were the final decision makers on buying this vehicle, 1 star is fair.

Since posting this review and making one more phone call, today, 10-2-23 I finally received a check in the mail for re-imbursement of the battery I purchased from AAA, having not been aware of the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty I received with the purchase of car. So , I am retracting my review and now giving Yates Buick a 5 star review. I am very appreciative for this reimbursement and appreciate the efforts of all involvedVal T

This place is located SE corner of I-10 and Litchfield Rd. We went there to check out a used 2020 Lexus RX350. The guy was anxious to show us the car. We check it out and decide to take it for a test drive. As you know a test drive is just a few miles. Apparently the car didn't start so he had to jump the battery. He gets it started and we take it out. He said all the cars they have are check by their mechanics to make sure everything is checked and safe. Then 1/2 mile into the drive the Master warning light (see photo) comes on. We ask what is that? He says "I dont know." I look up in the manual which is in the glove box and it says that the car should not be driven because it could crash. He also did not know what year the car was. We barely make it back to the dealership because as we pull into the lot the power steering fails. The sales guy was unable to move the car because the steering did not work. Keep in mind this was a 2020 car that their mechanics had checked and serviced. I get it they are not a Lexus dealer but seriously, that is poor form. If you plan to buy a used car from these guys you probably are going to need to get it checked by an independent mechanic, which somewhat defeats the purpose of buying from a dealer rather than a private seller.

Appointment for oil change and tire rotation scheduled in advance at 11am.Arrived took 10 minutes to be greeted, was told 1 1/2 hour max.At 1 1/2 hours went to check on my vehicle, I could see it in parking lot.Rude staff member Judith had ZERO explanation for the delay, ZERO explanation for why I wasn’t told there was a delay. Now 2.5 hours later vehicle is being washed and is finished. No concern for my appointment, no concern for my wait, no concern that I have an hour drive home.No concern that I just spent 2.5 hours waiting, and 2 hours drive time. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEyou have choices, go somewhere else, I’m going to.Service: Oil change
