“Stayed here for a weekend and had a good time. It's super close to the National Park entrance and only takes about 10 minutes to be inside the park with minimal traffic (depending on when you go, I suppose). The room was clean and spacious, and I got a standard 2 queen room. I opted in for the room cleaning between the days, and it was done before I came back on the second day after an early end to my trip (it had begun thunderstorming). The breakfast had a decent variety - coffee, ham and veggie omelets, bread, muffins, yogurts, fruits, cereals, and juices. All in all, a good stay!”

“You are nestled right in a beautiful Ponderosa pine forest, yet only about a 5- to 10-minute walk (roughly a quarter-mile) to the rim, Bright Angel Trailhead, and Historic Grand Canyon Village. Skipping the long park entrance traffic lines in the morning alone makes staying here worth every penny.
Keep in mind that Maswik sits tucked in the forest. You won't look out your window and see the canyon, but the peaceful forest setting and short walk to the rim more than make up for it.
There is a food court that is great for quick grab-and-go breakfasts, coffees, sandwiches, or warm dinners before or after a long hike.
The Pizza Pub is acasual spot in the main lodge to grab a pizza and a local craft beer after a grueling day on the trail.”
“The location was a wow! Right on the canyon edge.
The veranda bar was great, food & a relaxed vibe with a view.
The venue was a historic hotel which has been well maintained.
The breakfast was a highlight, trying bison. Great service.
Not too far to walk to the shuttle bus area.
Would recommend.”
“I would give the location a 1000/5 if I could. Located at the edge of the canyon, our windows looked out onto the south rim and I could not have been more pleased with our stay. We had great service as everyone was genuine and kind, the food was delicious (the bison chorizo omelet at El Tovar stands out especially in my head). We did some of the run trail and hiked a mileish down Bright Angel and then back up. Highly recommend staying here or at any of the hotels in this area. Sadly we were only there less than 24 hours but definitely will be coming back and spending more time!”

“This hotel is divided by different buildings so if you have mobility issues talk to someone at the front desk. They are very accommodating. I’ve stayed here twice and have recommend it to others. It has everything you need. There’s an arcade, two swimming pools. It’s great for the family.”
“Clean rooms. Great location. Nice staff- Dane was very professional.
Restaurant i expected to be 100% markup. But vegan cauliflower dish was 400% markup. Unacceptable. Expensive is fine, but that robbery. Waiters excellent though- 5 stars”
“Honestly a really great hotel for it's price and location. We only stayed here for one night before going to the Grand Canyon the next day. Great Mexican restaurant walking distance from the hotel. Plus we also had a small herd of Elk sitting just outside the hotel. I'd stay here again. If I had any complaint it was that the refrigerator was very small and didn't seem to work that great.”
