Monday, Aug. 28, we made an unplanned visit to Continental Safeway. One of the items was eggs that were on sale. At the checkout the cashier was rudely berating the man in front of us who had not downloaded the coupons for 2 of the sale items. She huffed over to I-know-not-where; returned; then proceeded to give him the discounted price for his items. We were next and like him, we hadn't downloaded the discounted sale price for those eggs. She nastily asked the man in back of us if he had downloaded coupons for 3 of the items already on the conveyor belt. He quietly replied he had. She turned looked crossly at us saying "I just told that last man and now YOU'VE done the same thing"! She again stomped off to that unknown place, returned even more angrily, and punched in the sale price for the eggs. When I smiled and suggested taking a deep breath - her very rude and berating response, repeated twice was "That will not help . . . SIR! She hurriedly threw our groceries into the bags so haphazardly, that one item flew out of the bag and opened up after it landed on the floor. My question is: why is that woman working as a cashier, interacting directly with customers with such an unhinged attitude.

They don't even deserve one star! This is the worst pharmacy "service" we have ever encountered. Our doctor's office mistakenly called in a prescription here even though we had moved and were using a different pharmacy since there was no Safeway at the new location. Despite repeated calls to Safeway from the new pharmacy, from us, as well as from Humana, THE PHARMACY NEVER PICKS UP THE PHONE AND NEVER CALLS BACK! Now we can't get a prescription filled here because Safeway won't return calls and won't cancel the prescription order that they billed Humana for. We have had the prescription delayed by nearly a week already and the "best option" Humana can come up with is to just pay out of pocket at our new pharmacy since they can't get in contact with Safeway.

The pharmacy is essential and very good. A little slow in refilling but price is great and so is staffWish their Frits and veggies were better quality. Citrus is bad and choices too limited. Why don't you compete with Sprouts. Checked out yesterday with Geraldine and Katherine. I had been bed ridden and unable to come to get my prescriptions. Eleven days. I was very fragile and nearly fainted. Had racing heart and hard to breathe. They recognize I was in terrine trouble and walked me to a bench, brought me water and a candy mint. I have them my card and they checked and bagged my groceries and checked on me giving me all sorts of options. After about 45 minutes I left with Rachel who bags groceries and she assisted me to the car and loaded all my groceries. What angels. I was very fragile. Now that I have food and my medications I am 24 hours better. It was pretty awful feeling so fragile. Thank you all for being so lovely to me. And caring. I feel blessed.

Employees look and act like someone just ran over their dog. Not very friendly at all. Not one of them asked me if I needed help, and when I asked if this was the price of something I got a reply of "ug" or whatever she mumbled. Walked passed three employees chatting in the produce section, and all 3 ignored me. A smile would be nice.

I was in the store yesterday around 10 am waiting for someone who was shopping with me who went to grab one last item. So, I decided to wait at the battery display by the registers. As I'm standing there, a female staff member who was in charge of the self checkouts approached me and very loudly told me to stop blocking the self checkout line. She was extremely rude, and there was no need to raise her voice. Not only was I not even close to the entrance to the self checkout area, but I wasn't even facing that direction. I replied, " I am waiting for someone, and I'm nowhere near the checkouts ma'am". She then said, loudly; "Find somewhere else to stand!" and stormed off. There are several great employees at this store, but this woman is definitely not one of them.

45 minutes to buy gift cards and there isn't even a crowd here! We decided not to stop for groceries, just gift cards, because we needed to get home before dark - that was more than 45 minutes ago. I'm still waiting - have gone in twice as I wait for my husband to get the cards... once to use the restroom and once to buy necessities. I could've purchased everything we needed for Christmas dinner by now and still be waiting. Slow - slow customer service and little to no knowledge of what they are doing! And don't get me started on the Self-Check Out.

Deceptive pricing again! Blue Belle ice cream. $3.97 member price. So got three. Once out of store looked at receipt. Over priced. Went to service desk. Small print at cooler says $3.97 on first two, then full price of $8.97. Who notices fine print; particularly us seniors. No refund offered. Surprise, surprise!

Hands down the worst Safeway to go to. Between the horrible parking lot and the useless staff. Don't get me started on the horrible people shopping here. This is a great place to avoid at all costs.

It's a grocery store. Fully stocked, had everything I needed. Left as a happy customer. I was only in the area for a golf weekend. Stopped by to load up on drinks and snacks. Had everything, kudos for being in the area
