Just amazing! The staff have so much patience and made every rider feel special! My son and daughter attended summer camp and oh my gosh my son with adhd who claimed he would hate it came out with tons of confidence and is begging me to go to more classes! My daughter also loved it we will be back for more classes. I had tons of people ask me if it was worth the price? I can whole heartedly say it was worth EVERY DIME! Thank you so much Al and your staff were amazing and so were you!

My twelve year old son caught the horseback riding bug while at Scout camp last year. Al's Horse Academy came highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed! The lessons not only include riding. They include anatomy and grooming and generally taking care of the horses. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone who thinks they might have an interest in horses.Update: a couple years later and I would still highly recommend lessons here!!

Great place for both kids and adults to learn everything there is to know about horseback riding. Al's instills confidence in all its riders and provides an endless amount of life lessons. The events are amazing and the parties are fun.

Older gentleman with a ton a teenage girls working under him?Interesting. And, you pay them to groom their horses and you don't get to ride. If you have an affinity with animals, it doesn't matter to them. They'll box you up and tell you how it'll be. I know how to ride a horse, I don't need a lesson from them! Or horse hair all over me. Not good money spent if you just want to ride and not have some bossy person telling you what to do, and going through their financial business motions. Not organic!

Al is really good at teaching. Especially when you have a hard time understanding something. He's also good at teaching you everything you need from catching your horse to tacking up on your own.

Al and his staff were really great and were able to accommodate our whole family! We are 5 adults and 3 children age 4-7. Today was a stress-free, informative, and memorable experience. It was amazing to see my little girls confidently riding a horse. And also to ride a horse myself.Al is very knowledgeable and polite and answered all of our many questions. We will be coming back again soon.

I took my children to Al’s for my son’s birthday. I was expecting a very average experience and was pleasantly surprised at what they had to offer. At Al’s they didn’t simply place my children on a horse and trot them around for a few minutes. The knowledgeable instructors taught my children about the animal, proper care and etiquette, basic riding fundamentals like balance and steering, and all the necessary equipment.I highly recommend Al’s Horse Academy for beginners and children based off of my experience.

I brought my quarter horse to Al and left her there for 2 weeks. I can't say enough good things about Al and his staff, they went the extra mile for me and also helped my wife with her horse. Al is knowledgeable, patient, kind, and focused on my goals. As a professional teacher myself, I rate him as an excellent teacher. He did a great job evaluating my horse and helping me get comfortable riding again after I had some problems with her. They were obviously good to my horse too. Thank you all!

My daughter has been attending consistently for about 2 years. The experience she learned really prepared her for her own horse. Al teaches the students about groundwork, safety, and responsibility on top of how to ride. Advanced students even begin to work on how to teach lessons. Highly recommend this place to all age levels.
