I called the office about the bill for tank rental. We have worked with Ferrell Gas and Blue Flame before Ferrell took over since we built our home in 1997. We have paid every bill in full and on time We are senior citizens who have a heat pump for our AC and heat and we are not wasteful. Since we do not own our own tank, we understand why we pay a rental fee to Ferrell. It was early on as low as $39 annually. The current tank in our yard is many years old and is the one Ferrell brought us when our original one had a broken gauge that was noticed by the delivery person when providing a fill. The rental for this year was more than $100 which we felt was too high since we have paid a rental year after year after year and believe the tank has been more than paid of in that time. When I asked for a reduction of the fee I was told someone in billing would be consulted and I would receive a call back. A week later and no call back received, I called again. A clerk said they would check and call back. No callback was received. I called a third time and was told that since we did not use at least 400 gallons there could be no reduction. We use in the low 100s. So, because we are frugal and are just 2 people in a small home, we apparently don't generate enough revenue for Ferrell for the company to value us. In fact, for that careful use we are instead financially penalized. We paid the fee in full but do not have warm and fuzzy feelings about their "Fuel Life Simply" slogan.

Today is 26 Jan, as of today I’ve been out of hot water since 18 Jan. I had my propane tank filled 19 Jan from Ferrell Propane, who is susposed to be monitoring the propane amount in the tank, & refill it when it was needed. It didn’t get done, so I had an empty tank to be filled on the 19th. The driver said he’d lit the water heater, after the refill, but it went out. I have absolutely nothing against the driver. He is kind, overworked, & knowledgeable. Since then, I’ve been trying to get someone out from Ferrell to relight the water heater, as the water heater tank instructions said… I’ve even had to pay $120.00 for this “service”. I’ve sent numerous messages, & made many, many phone calls, without any action…. I’ve been with Ferrell for over 20 years, & am shocked & surprised at my treatment. Now that it’s the weekend, it probably won’t be until next before I get hot water…

I rent a 250 gallon residential propane tank from Ferrellgas. In early July, I ordered and pre-paid for a refill delivery. The Farrellgas delivery driver arrived on July 10, 2023, and filled my tank. Within an hour of his departure, I noticed the receipt he left for me erroneously indicated he delivered 1,991 gallons of propane at a total cost of $6,446.72!! Needless to say, I nearly had a heart attack. I called Farrellgas immediately--less than an hour after the driver left. The lady assured me it was a mistake and would be corrected. I left on vacation and today -- July 31, 2023 -- I checked my account. The obvious error has not been corrected, with my account showing an outstanding balance of $5,774.86! This kind of error, and Farrellgas' failure to promptly correct it, is unacceptable. I will begin shopping tomorrow to purchase my own tank so that I will no longer be wedded to using Farrellgas. I also will once again call Farrellfgas to demand this error be corrected.

Everything is super smooth. However, if residents don't plan right, it's possible to run out of gas. Ferrallgas needs time to schedule your delivery; it's not the same day you call and request gas. Suppose you're like me and wait to order gas when your about out; there is the possibility you will go without gas for a couple of days. Plan, the responsibility is on you. Please don't be mad at them for your lack of planning. Your lack of planning doesn't necessitate an emergency for them.

False advertisement, rude customer service, location is in Tucson not Hereford, when you call and they say they are open, they mean in Tucson but fail to mention that.

Very happy with service. Wasn't sure what to think from the reviews being so different. They came out the day I needed gas. 2 days before Xmas. Very grateful to Mike the delivery driver and the people in the office! Merry Christmas ?

I have had no problems with Ferrell gas. Mike the driver is friendly. I have had propane for many years and those who complain about price is because you don’t own your own tank. I rented a tank for a while until I realized I was locked in to this propane dealer and paying an outrageous price. I purchased my tank and this gives me the option to shop for propane. In regards to other places for propane being less expensive I disagree. I just paid a $1.59 per gallon. Quite reasonable if you ask me. I am sticking with Ferrell gas for now as I am quite happy with their price and service.

0 stars if I could. Driver, Mike is grouchy and rude!! Guy should just retire... Obviously hates his job and his company! They are way overpriced and slow to get a delivery to you. Called GM PROPANE and they were a $1.20 LESS A GALLON!! How can you do that unless your gouging????!!!! I recommend anybody reading this in this area, go to GM propane… Services awesome and price is incredible!!! The driver that showed up was very polite and accommodating, unlike Ferrellgas!

I let my tank get down below 7%. Not recommended. One phone call to Ferrellgas, credit card over the phone or online, and the tank was filled days quicker than they indicated it may be. Good company.
