They built my house and installed two defective bath tubs. Acknowledged that they “were probably defective” but since the last owner didn’t complain and it hit the 10 year window they would not assist in making things right. Ended up spending close to 12k to have both bathtubs replaced. Found beer cans in the walls, not to mention a year after I moved in the plumbing outside the water inlet leaked underground that cost me another 1k that the insurance didn’t cover due to faulty workmanship. The clown plumber they have ran out of straight pipes and connected 6 u shaped pipes together to make a contraption that was doomed to fail. The plumber said in 30 years of work he’s never seen such poorly done plumbing. My sink didn’t have a P trap and when I installed one one could not be installed correctly because the sink that was installed was not compatible with the plumbing done that’s another 1k to break the wall and move the plumbing. Save yourself the heartache and cost to your wallet and don’t trust these clowns with your money. They do not honor their work and frankly are a joke that will cost you thousands upon tens of thousands of dollars to clean up their mess. They’re lucky it went past the 10 year mark..I would’ve sued them into oblivion, I guess this is the standard for cookie cutter homes in Sierra Vista. Nothing about any of their work is quality.

Still waiting on a phone call back. So far not thrilled with this builder or the construction of my home.

We are happy with the quality of our home and the nice folks we worked with to purchase our home, but the HOA and clarity of policies have been inconsistent in Kings Ranch.Buyer beware that the million dollar views you fell in love with and thought were protected through the conservation easements in place get blocked by trees the neighbors plant in your view shed, despite being told planting in these specific areas is prohibited when you purchase your home. Getting real or consistent answers is difficult other than having forms sent to you.

Great place to buy house

It seems they are just rushing to get houses out, so quality is sacrificed. I noticed the sheathing is not covered on all of the exterior frame.

So my review is in regards to work that this builder did upon building my house. I would say that anyone using them should just be careful of their workmanship. I just bought a house that was built back in 2006 by them. Both bathtubs started having water puddles at the ends of the tubs. I initially went to my insurance and home warranty to see if I could get it repaired. A plumber from a reputable company came out and did the inspection. He informed me that this was due to a bad installation (bad workmanship not covered under any policy) and that the installers did not level the tubs when they did the install. After years of using the tubs the water started to cause permanent marks. For that reason both tubs would have to be removed and replaced. After further inquiry I found out my neighbor next door was having the same issue with his tubs. I'm sure if I continued to ask I'd hear similar stories in the neighborhood. My point is if you hire these guys expect to end up buying brand new bathtubs 10 years down the road and eating close to 15k for it. At this point I'll be shelling out the money to replace everything but wanted to warn people that will use them for future home builds to be careful. When I mentioned it to them they immediately jumped to the point that it passed inspection when it was built so the plumber and home inspector I hired must've been wrong.

We purchased a new home from RL Workman in Benson, AZ, in early 2022. There were many problems with workmanship in the interior, including areas where they painted over dust, drywall finishing issues, paint smears on the floors, cracked or damaged woodwork, cracked/missing grout, etc.; we've purchased new homes before and this didn't feel like one. To their credit, RL Workman has been responsive in patching many of these issues, though it still doesn't look like a new house since that would require modeling rather than patching. For other issues, they've been very obstinate, as if they hoped to wear us down rather than doing the right thing. Over the course of living in the house for six months, we've come to realize that the design is not great: the laundry room is tiny, but there's a pointlessly wide hallway on the other side of the wall; the door from the garage opens into the laundry room, which makes 1/4 of the room unusable; the A/C is right next to one bedroom window making it impossible to sleep there; outlets and wall switches aren't conveniently placed (in some cases, we can't hang artwork because there's a switch in the middle of a wall!); the shower stall in the master bedroom is beyond low-end; there's nothing dividing the master suite into sections, so the bathroom and sleeping area are just one big room; the door to the master bedroom is in the middle of the dining room; the outside lighting fixtures create unnecessary glare and light pollution, ruining the feel of the neighborhood.

Literally 0 help with any communication and 0 help willing to try to even get an estimate, expect them to come out and fill you will hope they will do something but then you should expect them to ghost you if your job isn't up to their price expectation and never even receive your estimate even AFTER you have contacted them over and over again!!!

Wrote a contract to build a house in Kings Ranch, Hereford, AZ late July 2019. Seven months later and countless lies by Realtors of Long Realty representing the builder not a shred of work done on the building site despite $8,000 of earnest money. The home design was the builders.RL Workman is purported be one of the top builders in Cochise County. For us RL Workman is a builder that doesn’t want to build houses, rather just tie up your money and lie to you.Don’t trust a single word from any Realtor from Long Realty Company.Caveat Emptor
