What a wonderful little piece of paradise tucked away in a beautiful part of the state. Wildlife abounds not to mention birds and this wasn’t even high season for birding. Our host was very accommodating and welcoming and we tremendously enjoyed visiting with Esther who prepared and served us an amazing breakfast. She was truly delightful and quite a talented and inventive chef.It was a very nice break for us and we hope to return during the high season for birding. This property is literally next door to Ramsey Canyon Preserve which has wonderful trails and lots of great birding.Rooms: Comfortable with a nice lounge areaNearby activities: Lots of wildlife actually on the propertyFood & drinks: Gourmet breakfast not to mention homemade pies

This place holds a special place in our hearts. We had our maternity photos done here, we got engaged, and we finally got married here. Scott and April were so amazing the whole time we have been working with them! The rooms are beautiful and cozy, the breakfast was SO delicious, the staff goes above and beyond for you! They make you feel at home and keep communication clear and open. We had our dream wedding and I’m so thankful to have spent it here!!

I cannot say enough about the Ramsey Canyon Inn. From their wonderful staff that make you feel like family, especially the cooks, to the encounters with local wildlife that make you feel like Aurora or Snow White from the original Disney animated features, to the beautiful surroundings tucked in a mountainside surrounded by a compliment of greens and vibrant autumn colors that glow in the morning light. In the early morning hours, you can hear the call of wild turkeys and little birds while feeling the dew in the air and become absorbed in all that Ramsey Canyon Inn has to offer. I highly recommend this location and cannot wait to return.Suggestion: Bring a flashlight or headlamp. The stone paths on the property are a bit dark and have some challenging topography when if you cannot clearly see.Rooms: Quaint, variety from a bit more extravagant to cozy. Take a step back in time with these thoughtfully decorated rooms. Most comfortable beds! I want one of those mattresses in my home!

We got married here last month. We worked with them for over a year to get everything ready. They did amazing at answering all of my questions whenever I had them. And I had a lot of questions. They provided a good of list of vendors so everyone enjoyed the food.We ended up booking a few days before our guests arrived and it was amazing. Very calm and beautiful and completely surrounded by nature. It was the perfect way to stay calm before the storm. Day of the wedding, the venue did amazing at helping however they could to make everything perfect. They could get a lot done with little direction which was amazing since we were so busy. The only con we had was that the sprinklers still went on that day so the ceremony area was muddy. I believe this is something they are going to fix for the future though. Scott even went out of his way to make our day special in many different ways.Breakfast each morning was delicious and all of our guests loved the space. The chefs made the best chocolate pie we've ever had. Everyone saw several different kinds of wildlife up close and had a very cozy and quiet room.

The rooms are reasonable, the breakfast is good with an unbelievable view of the wildlife. Gould's wild turkey flocks roam the property, along with coues whitetail deer and if you are lucky enough a bear will come through. Its considered a world class destination for bird viewing. They have a beautiful sitting area to view the wildlife and a nice patio for events. In the fall the changing of the leafs is beautiful. Next door is the world class Ramsey canyon preserve for hikes filled with more beautiful scenery. A most see if you are in the area!.

Beautiful wedding venue - have photographed multiple weddings here - staff is so helpful to bridal couples needs and they are constantly adding new amenities. Firepits, twinkle lights, a nice wood bar area - great reception set up in the trees! You get the forest feel which is unique for wedding venues in Southern Arizona. Small weddings feel comfortable there - from 40 to 100 guest the space feels good - not too big. And bridal party and family can all stay at the Inn together- makes for a nice wedding weekend ❤Noteworthy details: It backs a birding preserve with a beautiful trail up into the Canyon.

The big attraction here is the hummingbirds. Even in late October there were crowds of them around the many feeders. It's a B&B, with big emphasis on terrific breakfasts, with attention to guest dietary needs and preferences. We stayed five nights, and we felt the need to drive or hike to other attractions in the area during that much time. Fortunately, there are a lot of interesting spots to visit within an hour's drive.Nearby activities: There is a Nature Conservancy preserve just next to the Ramsey Canyon Inn, with a fairly easy hiking trail, connecting to a more challenging climb. Other trails and nature preserves are just a short drive away.Walkability: A friend with limited mobility visited us during our stay and had trouble with the gravel in the parking lot, the slope down to the front door, and a couple of steps down to a seating area. She wouldn't have been able to get to the back garden with the most hummingbird feeders or to the upstairs bedrooms. The mountainous terrain is challenging in the area.Food & drinks: Breakfast is prepared on site and is excellent. It's served at at eight o'clock at a table for ten, with trays for extra guests and the possibility of having a breakfast left in the guest refrigerator for early departures. During our stay., we had vegetarian breakfasts, and vegan guests were also accommodated. Excellent coffee was brewed twice a day and a coffee machine and chilled or hot water was provided in a small guest kitchen, where there was also a refrigerator for guest use.Noteworthy details: The big attraction is the rare hummingbirds that visit in the summer. We saw many hummingbirds even in late October. There were also Gould's turkeys and Coues deer, both local subspecies. A Coatimundi and a ringtail came through the garden while I was there. Many birds visited the feeders.

You do not have to go far to have an amazing vacation! My wife surprised me with a staycation trip to the Ramsey Canyon Inn as an early birthday present. We have talked about staying there for many years and have to say we regret not going sooner. The Inn is beautiful. The rooms were amazing. The property owners and staff were so friendly. The fresh pies are served every day at 4pm in the pie room. The family-style breakfast in the morning was fun meeting people from all over the world. We highly recommend if you have never stayed at the Ramsey Canyon Inn that you plan a stay of your own.

We spent two delightful nights at the Ramsey Canyon Bed and Breakfast Inn. This inn is such a treat! From the beautifully decorated rooms to delicious breakfast, amazing pies (kudos to the chefs) and beautiful surroundings. We could sit hours admiring the hummingbirds, and other wildlife in the area. April and Scott have done a wonderful job of welcoming all guests and ensuring that everyone has a wonderful stay. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

A beautiful location for on site birding or as a base for day trips. Many hummingbird feeders and other bird feeders at the Inn provide all day viewing of birds and other local wildlife. The rooms are very comfortable and accommodating. The food was beyond delicious with more than enough at every meal. Sometimes it was hard to make room for the award-winning pies - but worth it if you could. Scott and April are warm, gracious and excellent hosts. If I could give the Ramsey Canyon Inn more than 5 stars I would! This is definitely a place to come back to.

We just spend a week at the wonderful Ramsey Canyon Inn. The Inn is situated in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. April and Scott are amazing hosts and their staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms and common areas are comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The Pie Kitchen was stocked with great breakfast foods to prepare us for our birding excursions and the scrumptious pies were a great post- birding treat. Birding at the Inn is a special treat with all the Hummingbirds and others attracted to the many feeders. We will be back!

My son had his wedding at Ramsey Canyon Inn and it was absolutely spectacular. Location was beautiful, with the trees and the creek right along the middle of the entire location. Rooms are super cute and this is the best place in the county to have a wedding. But the main jewel to this place are the owners Scott and April. You couldn't get better hosts. So helpful and friendly throughout the entire event. When our caterer showed up with cold food, Scott and April tried to do what they could to help. Both of them truly make you feel special and appreciated and work so hard to make our event a once in a lifetime experience. I can't say enough about this place, you will just have to come by and check it out and meet the wonderful owners.

We stayed Ramsey Canyon Inn for our SW AZ birding trip - 7 nights - it was amazing. Lunches were fantastic, continental breakfast has tons of options. Homemade pies everyday to celebrate life birds! We had dinner at the lodge 4 nights - awesome, cannot brag enough on the food! Feeders have greats birds and lots of hummers, heard 3 Owls, common poorwill and Mexican whippoorwill. Wild Turkey everyday to top it off!

The food is always incredible with a chef who strives for excellence in every meal--and did I mention the daily pies??? The grounds and rooms are well-kept and clean, with sweet, nostalgic decorations. The owners and staff are friendly and make the experience fun, even showing special birding experiences as events occur. Definitely worth the price, which is quite readonable.
