We camed here originally for a week and when we had to extend they were helpful in extending us. We were able to wash our rv and truck at our site. There are two dog parks and they are all gravel. The site was level and had a concrete patio for our table and chairs. This campground is off of 90, but its still quiet. The residents are very friendly and they have a calendar of activities. You can receive deliveries here as well. Wifi was good for what we used it for. We were 10 mins from Kartchner Caves, 25 from Tombstone and 45 from Bisbee. Sierra Vista is about 10 mins away and has restaurants, groceries, gas etc. Everything you could need.Nearby activities: Tombstone, Bisbee and Kartchner caverns are between 10 and 45 mins. The drives are easy and the scenery is beautiful

Nice park, people are crammed in, not much room between the rvs. My brother and his wife are wintering here. Just visiting for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Impeccably clean; very nice clubhouse; super nice staff. If one doesn't require a pool, hot tub or pickleball courts, it's perfect.Fantastic wifi!Walkability: Lots of places to walk for exercise, without fear of being run over by traffic

Nice campground. Laundry room and other facilities were well kept. It had everything we needed. It also has a nice dog park up against the property which made our pups happy. It wasn't that close to Tombstone (about 20 minutes away).

Residents close to club house are very familiar with one another and keep a skeptical watch on new residence.During our month stay, in site 69, we were accused of breaking into the communal facilities by a fellow resident. A notice of eviction was placed on our front door asking us to vacate the property.Kimberly and I both went to the main office to explained we had not broken into any facilities and the allegation against us were false. The manager, Dorinda, was understanding and apologized for the situation. Dorinda was also extremely kind and respectful and made us feel welcome within the park. However, the skeptical residence surrounding us made us uncomfortable and paranoid. Take careDorinda gets 5 stars. The residence of the park closest to the office and near site 69 get 0 stars. I’d recommend staying at this park, but reserve spots further away from the office. Best wishes:)

This park is very well organized and very quiet, especially considering how busy it is. The lady in the office was very nice. I was fortunate enough to visit at the same time the Thunderbirds were there, so there were two free air shows daily. I would recommend it and stay again.

I don’t know what dog there talking about but this is a dog friendly place. Most of these people are here for the season, including me! Love it for the views, the friendships or the quiet but love it you will.

This is a my second stay at a RV park in Huachuca City, first time at Mountain View RV Park. This park is very clean, well maintained and quiet! The manager, Sheila, is great and has the cutest "Southern" accent! The Mountain Views are spectacular!

I camped out at Mountain View RV Park while in Whetstone on a walk across America. The manager, Sheila, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The grounds were well kept and orderly. The bathrooms and showers were spotless! Possibly the cleanest facilities I have come across on my travels. They even have a really nice clubhouse/community area where other campers congregate and socialize - I felt like family as soon as I walked in.I would highly recommend camping here, whether you are RV or tenting. The rates are great, everything is clean, but the people and atmosphere were what made my stay truly special. Thank you!

I stayed at this RV park from January to October. It’s 20+ minutes out of town and off the beaten path, and therein draws some colorful characters at times. The park was clean as were the restrooms and the showers. There’s not much else there to talk about. The area they call a gym is not really a gym but a small room where there’s a couple pieces of equipment and a few free weights. The owners are out of California and the regional manager is in Texas I believe, who never show themselves. The management that they had was a bit of a drama queen who would get easily rattled and if she thought you talked or looked at her funny she’d get her military husband after folks. They also had their little cliquey group and she transferred the management to one of those gals. The current gal who, due to medical and physical concerns has difficulty keeping even the simplest commitments, and neither one of them had any managerial training whatsoever. In my humble opinion they were both in it just for the free Rv site and perks for themselves. They seem to forget that patrons of the park are who keep the park open, not them in their managerial position. There’s another really nice RV park just around the corner with much larger sites and more reasonable rates. The seasoned mgmt there seemed nice and easy to work with too. There are also a couple other RV parks in town that have a lot more to offer for the price, but you might have to get on a list

First, I want to wish management, staff, friends and neighbors at Mountain View RV Park a Happy Holiday Season and a bright and happy 2021. This is my fourth winter at the park. My husband and I return year after year for the camaraderie we have established with our friends, neighbors, and park staff. I am saddened to read comments posted by Jane Johnson. It is eye opening that two people, at the park simultaneously, can have such different views towards our RV community. What Jane refers to as cliques I refer to as friendships. It is the main reason for our returning. When we first arrived at Mt View, my husband and I were greeted with smiles and welcoming gestures. One neighbor introduced me to Bingo and introduced me to fellow Bingo players who are year-round residents of Sierra Vista. My husband was asked to join a few other avid golfers from the park, and continues to enjoy his golf outings with our park friends and neighbors. Another neighbor introduced me to crafting and I continue to increase my skill level in hobbies learned and well as learn new hobbies. Due to COVID, life has changed a little, but the interest and support of our Park Manager has not. To state our Park Manager is here simply for the "free" RV site and to imply she has no interest in the residents is totally unfair. Our present RV Site Manager goes out of her way to help all residents of the park. If she is receiving an on site space as part of her salary, it is probably due to the fact she is working a 24/7 schedule and needs to be on site to resolve all the problems and issues associated with RV living. As for our previous RV Park Manager, I will only say she was a sweet, engaging woman who went out of her way to care for the residents. This previous manager, who has been described so unfairly, went out of her way to watch Jane Johnson's dog when Jane was away from the park on a business trip. I know this is a long review, but I just feel that the park has been unfairly, unjustly critiqued. I hope all who join us at Mt View, give us a chance to welcome you and show you the hospitality shown us when we arrived.

Pet friendly so long as you kept your pet locked up. Our two cats are trained to follow us. The park objected to us walking the cats 300 yds. from our nearest neighbors, who did not object, and near a fence separating the park from the neighboring business that had three or more cats. Our cats would walk with us for more than a mile or more, return with us to the trailer and go inside with us. Some days the cats were walked two or three times a day. WE WERE GIVEN THE OPTION OF NOT WALKING CATS OR HAVE THEM ON A LEASH. IF NOT ON ALEASH THEN FORFETING OUR FOUR MONTH ADVANCE PAYMENT AND TOLD TO LEAVE.
