This was such a delicious spot. We stuck around, nursing our drip coffees after eating just to soak in the friendly service and quaint atmosphere. I enjoyed a delightfully heaping portion of ham, egg, apple, and spinach on a bagel. If you’re looking for tasty, underpriced, fast service, this is your spot.Don’t forget the fresh bakery goods!

Sorry guy that us tourists were trying to eat breakfast at 8. Sorry you live in a tourist town. If you are from out of town skip this place they don’t want to be friendly or serve you.

The food was fresh & delightful. The fresh-made pico was scrumptious. I can’t have gluten, but they make fresh scones for those of you who can! Highly recommend stopping in. The place is small, and that represents half the charm. Vintage feel and has a lava lamp too. I thoroughly enjoyed my time. This place is a breath of fresh air in a manic world. I’d assume the only 1-star reviews for this place were from people who either don’t pay attention to what’s happening around them, or they are entitled and need to be told to be nice. Twice during my visit, I heard the owner stand up for his other customers and his place. Once he told someone to be patient. *sigh* What a joy to hear an owner point out the customer isn’t always right.

Not bad food but less than cheery proprietor and server. A bit pricey for what you get but expected in a tourist spot. No washroom. And they didn’t provide a receipt on payment when ordering and then apparently didn’t remember being paid so they had to look at their till record even though they only had 3-4 customers during our visit. Would take a pass on this place when in Jerome. Look for a friendlier spot.

What a wonderfully cozy niche serving warm, made to order, comfort food and barista mastered caffeinated concoctions. I felt very welcomed at this establishment and was attended to with a balanced blend of neighborly demeanor and professional care. A great morning start to touring Jerome. Thank you!

Came here as my first stop during a mid-week visit to Jerome. It was a chillier, foggy morning and I was looking for a quick place to warm up & grab some coffee - I ended up staying much longer than anticipated. The space is quant but so charming. Chad welcomes you with such a nice, warm welcome. I grabbed a nice window spot, ordered myself a bold Americano and their ’Really Good’ oatmeal - it was perfect. Simplistic, but well executed - I was instantly transported back to my childhood, reminiscing on grandma’s perfect bowl of oatmeal. Well done, Flatiron. The owner, Chad, is such a great guy. He makes it feel like you’re visiting a good friend, welcomed into his home, while he cooks you up a heart-warming meal, perfect espresso, and some great convo. As he served the other table their meal, he left them with a “Phones down, forks up.” Loved it.We geeked about both working in the industry, and as I was about to wrap it up, he pulls a brand new bottle off the shelf behind him - a beautiful Spanish vermouth. He pours us both a taste. It was hands down the highlight of my visit.Do yourself the favor when you’re in town, and make the stop in. Let Chad know I sent ya!

The physical atmosphere was perfect with the morning light shining in but it was all a bit ruined by the abrasive male cook/server who couldn’t answer a single question without a “get out of here tourist” condescending vibe. Also, eggs are from a carton and steamed with the espresso machine, not whole eggs like the menu suggest.

Stopped by this cafe while passing through Jerome. Exactly what you would want a cafe to look like: cozy, sunny and great decor.Great coffee, breakfast & service; overall would return to Jerome just to stop here. 5/5Just a note: there is no bathroom (don't let it deter you, stop here anyways!!)

Okayish drinks, not a lot of space, passive aggressive staff - greatish atmosphere. Made my friends and family feel awkward when asking clarifying questions.

Wish I would of read the reviews before becoming here. Didn't realize we were one of the 'lucky ones' that got the poor treatment. They didn't like that we jumped at the opportunity for a table when they just wanted us to be outside in the cold, or shoved into the corner counter table that still had leftover plates. Other customers got special treatment.Didn't realize the cook DOESN'T WEAR GLOVES handling food. Glad I didn't swat at the wasps (considering the other review). The menu says "three eggs" but they're powdered eggs; food was terrible in general. This place has a lot of work to do.

Great coffee and food here! The mister egg sandwich with a double shot espresso ????. This place is located in Jerome AZ, in the mountains. Great place, great scenic drive up, if you can handle the elevation, it's so worth it. Cheers Flat iron

This was a cozy little shop just at the front of this small town. The people working there were super friendly and held a conversation with us. When we got our food, I was floored. The presentation was incredible and it tasted amazing! Highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!Dietary restrictions: They were good to accommodate dietary restrictionsParking: No place to park at the restaurant but there's street parking throughout the town

This was the first place we ran into when we got to town, so we stopped. Very small menu, they only have a microwave and a toaster oven so you're not going to get anything other than that. There are a lot of bees inside so if you're allergic I don't recommend. The lady that served us was super super nice. And the cook was okay, I said something and I think he took it wrong, so it got weird. Cute place , but only three small tables and the bathroom is across the street. And isn't open in the morning when the restaurant is. Eggs seemed to be done in microwave...
