A most amazing and magical place to be. From the welcoming hosts to Andrea‘s assistant in the kitchen and lastly Andrea herself.Just an amazing experience and the aura and vibe of this place. The food is phenomenal. Andrea knows what she is doing, and we were so blessed to have experienced such wonderful warmth and openness. The food is absolutely hands-down one of the best! A true Genuine, gem of Jerome.

While visiting Jerome with my gf, and two younger sisters we were strongly considering renting from this establishment, and noticed the beautiful garden. A little sign does say "please respect garden". There is no clearly marked hours, or entrance for an office to enquire. That said, the owner, Andrea came out and BRUTALLY scolded my much younger college sisters and GF. We left, having completely changed our minds on staying at her "Business". When we did get home, we noticed my GF had left her purse there, forgetting to grab it while the owner HARASSED US like a badger protecting her home. When she called to ask for it back, the owner, Andrea, continued to scold my betrothed for another 15 min, saying things like "i swore i would not return anything i found left by trespassers, and ive never felt the need to lock my car or gate" AS IF WE LOOK LIKE TROUBLE MAKERS. My sisters are in COLLEGE, I work as a landscape designer and nursery professional, and my GF is TEACHER for one of the nicest PRIVATE PRE-SCHOOLS in our town. She denies having the purse. We called the local P.D., who admits knowing Andrea "well", and he assures us, there is nothing we can do.DO NOT LET THIS WOMAN FOOL YOU, she isn't worth your presence, business, or time.

Very impressed with how pleasant,Kind, and welcoming Andrea was as we were walking by. Unfortunately we didn’t stay here but got a whole tour from Andrea. The outside grounds of the two ponds were very Tranquil to the relaxing fire pit/ sitting area. The inside house was filled with plenty of sitting areas with books and the kitchen was filled with lots of treats for the guest and the food sounded delicious. We would definitely stay here the next time.

We stayed here for 1 night and it was magical. Andrea is an amazing woman and hostess. The property is easily the most beautiful and magical place I have ever stayed at. Our room had everything we needed and was so inviting!! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and served with grace. She has created many seating areas that invite you to sit and enjoy!! Her outside sitting areas with beautiful plants and soothing music are unlike anything I have ever experienced. This was a wonderful B&B!! I will be back! Thank you Andrea. Blessed Be❤

We were lucky enough to get a last minute room at this work of art. Andrea is the consummate host, it’s awesome to see someone love their work and life so much. The breakfast, the birthday wishes, every detail is above and beyond. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience here. It is a magical place and I cannot wait to come back. Andrea is so very sweet, too—this very well may be my favorite place I’ve ever visited because of her hospitality along with the beauty of the b&b. Worth every penny and then some.

We enjoy coming to visit Andrea! She is very personable, makes amazing farm to table dishes, the lush gardens and fountains. We love sitting outside in the garden watching the Koi fish and having a glass of wine or if cold hanging out by the firepit and overlooking the amazing views of Jerome, Clarkdale and Cottonwood. We enjoy hearing about all the history in the town of Jerome and Andrea makes great suggestions on places to eat or visit in the area. Andrea is well respected in the community and takes pride in serving her guests local food and honey. We can't wait to come back in a few months it truly is our home away from home!

One of the memorably wonderful weekends of my life. Great atmosphere, very calming and drop dead views and the breakfast was even better than the views!! Very comfortable bed as well! And on top of that it meant being able to explore Jerome without the hassles of driving and parking as we arrived after the day time traffic had already left. We will definitely be back!

My husband and I have traveled all over and this is one of those spots where you look at each other and say, “wow, when are we coming back”? Jerome is a quirky, quiet, fun, beautiful place and Andrea’s home adds such depth, color and charm to the overall experience of visiting the town. Andrea is personally passionate about sharing her home with guests and compelled to provide the utmost in customer service. She’s an accomplished chef, avid reader and collector of all things Jerome. We met the friendliest guests at breakfast and all of us spoke of The Surgeon’s House and its gorgeous gardens and grounds being a place of rest and respite over and over for years to come. Thank you, Andrea!

I've written only a handful of reviews in my life. I never imagined that during my trip to Jerome, that the highlight of the weekend would be both this lovely house and equally wonderful Andrea. Usually, we consider great customer service to be when someone is nice and pleasant, helps us as customers, and someone who goes out of their way to ensure our happiness. This definition pales in comparison to the atmosphere, love for people, and the welcoming nature that Andrea brings. From the moment my girlfriend and I arrived, we felt like we came home. At once, we were gently welcomed and were given an extensive tour of the beautiful property. Andrea opened up her home and showed us the true meaning of hospitality. The plethora of books to read complimented sitting outside in the gorgeous gardens. The silence that is not achievable in the city comes easily here.I woke in the morning to find that coffee had already been made. After a couple of cups, Andrea announced that breakfast was ready for everyone. This was no simple breakfast. Decadent and wondrous. From the delightfully rich eggs and sausage, to the braised cauliflower and mushrooms, to the fresh coconut/pineapple juice. I was in heaven. It's not every day that you can feel this pampered. My only regret is that I could not stay longer. But rest assured, I will come back to stay at the Surgeon's House, and enjoy Andrea's amazing company. This place is truly one of a kind and you would be doing yourself a disservice by not staying here.
