I seen teepees and old wagons from the highway - as I drove past this place on my way to Las Vegas Nevada, and on my way back to Shepherd Texas I had to stop. .**.GERONIMO** It's a shop that has all kinds of cool stuff... Indian knick knacks- different type of rocks, -bows n arrows -mocassin boots - knives - anything you could think of they probably have.- souvenirs to take to your family and friends . The ladies there where extremely helpful and willing to share the details of everything they have to offer.. I was shocked to see the prices on some of these items though.. some were $6000. or more .. all in all I spent 2 hours in there just looking at all the cool things.. couldn't decide what I actually wanted... some where in my price range. I ended up spending like $55.00 - got a few cool things - shot glasses - keychain names- and a cool scorpion bracelet.. because of the information I got about some things will definitely make me pay closer attention to petrified rocks .. ?... you never know where there could be a thousand dollar rock nearby just calling your name ..

Update: 11-17-23We came here about a month ago and found out the owner had died and they were having a meeting the following Monday to decide if the store would stay open or if it would be closing. I was hoping they Would stay open but it is 10:30am and we just stopped here and the shop is closed. Not sure if that is just today, or forever. we mostly came here to buy geodes. On occasion we have found a few other things to buy but most things in the store are pretty expensive. When we first started coming here about 3 years ago the geodes were $1.99. After they reopened from the Covid shut down, they had raised the price for their geodes to $2.99 but it was still a decent deal , so we kept coming. We have stopped here about every 6 weeks to 2 months.Love coming here. We have purchased a few very unique one of a kind things here. Take note though. Their hours are what they want them to be. Don’t come too early and make sure you get here 2 hours before their listed closing time or you might not get in. We showed up today and they are supposed to be open till 5pm and they closed at 3:40pm. Last time came early, about 8:30 and they weren’t open yet. We ran around town for a couple of hours and came back instead of waiting for someone to show up. Still love this place. It’s just really quirky.

The parking lot looks full but once you pull in you can clearly see all the cars are broke down with flat tires. I know it’s made by natives and while it’s beautiful, their stuff is incredibly expensive here. Nice folks. But we couldn’t help but leave almost as quick as we walked in fearing our rv getting broke into or fear of a flat tire. Also, the ramp back to the 40 was closed so we had to turn around, go back the opposite way, and then turn around again.

They have a large selection of petrified wood and gem stones cut and polished. Be aware they are pretty pricey. Service was ok, guy greeted us but everywhere we looked at notes, "You break it, you buy it!" Pretty much. Lol.

My aunt owns this store. They have a wide selection of Indian jewelry, clothes toys etc. Very friendly staff, very clean and lots to enjoy. Their petrified wood is very interesting to look at lots of detail. It’s right off the freeway so it’s really convenient to pull off and get back on. We always enjoyed our visits.. much love auntie..rip!

They have a lot of really cool stones and stuff. The lady got confused and tried to give me the wrong change though so pay attention. It looks like there are more people in the place because they have a bunch of old cars in the parking lot. They have been there so long that all the tires are flat.

Both disappointed and unsurprised that a shop financially benefitting from Native American culture is not owned by Native Americans. Classic white dude profiting and exploiting another culture bc they have none of their own.Skip this stop, you’re not missing anything but cultural and racial profiteering.
