Nestled beneath the Arizona sun, the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites presented an intriguing dichotomy that piqued my curiosity and beckoned a stay, promising a balance between rustic charm and modern convenience. My sojourn within this two-star sanctuary left me with a wealth of impressions that merit articulate exploration.Upon crossing the threshold, one is greeted by an ambiance that seamlessly marries the old-world allure with a dash of contemporary flair. The lobby, adorned with subdued hues and embellished with subtle southwestern motifs, creates an atmosphere that is both welcoming and aesthetically pleasing. A courteous concierge, with a demeanor steeped in hospitality, ushered me into a world where simplicity meets sophistication. The accommodations, while modestly bestowed with the designation of two stars, defied expectations and proved to be a haven of comfort. The room, albeit not opulent, exuded an understated elegance. The tasteful furnishings and soothing color palette contributed to an environment that felt more like a cocoon than a mere resting place. A bed, laden with plump pillows and adorned with crisp linens, beckoned for repose after a day of exploring the arid landscapes that define Arizona's allure.Despite its unassuming exterior, the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites unveiled a gastronomic surprise that surpassed the ordinary expectations of a two-star establishment. The on-site dining facility, a culinary gem in its own right, crafted a melange of flavors that danced upon the palate with finesse. From breakfast delights to evening repasts, the culinary team succeeded in elevating the dining experience beyond the commonplace, leaving an indelible mark on my gastronomic journey. In the realm of amenities, the hotel unfurled a tapestry of offerings that catered to both leisure and business travelers. The fitness center, though compact, boasted state-of-the-art equipment that allowed for a satisfying workout. The azure waters of the pool, set against the backdrop of the arid Arizona landscape, offered a refreshing respite, inviting guests to bask in the sun-drenched serenity. However, the jewel in the crown of this establishment is undeniably its staff. In a hospitality landscape where service can be perfunctory, the personnel at the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites defied stereotypes. Each staff member, from housekeeping to management, exhibited a commitment to guest satisfaction that transcended the limitations of a two-star rating. Their unwavering dedication transformed a sojourn into an experience, leaving me with a sense of gratitude for the often-overlooked art of genuine hospitality.Yet, it would be remiss not to acknowledge the shadows that occasionally marred this oasis. The two-star designation, while reflective of the hotel's affordability, hinted at certain limitations. The room, while comfortable, bore signs of wear that bespoke the passage of time. The echoes of dated furnishings and occasional maintenance oversights hinted at a need for rejuvenation. The paradox of this establishment lies in its ability to weave an enchanting tapestry despite the frayed edges. The Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites, with its two-star façade, transcends the ordinary and stands as a testament to the notion that true value often lies beyond the superficial trappings of stars. In conclusion, my sojourn at the Best Western Plus A Wayfarer's Inn and Suites in Arizona was an odyssey defined by contrasts. It is a symphony of comfort and antiquity, a culinary haven amidst arid landscapes, and a bastion of heartfelt hospitality in a sea of stars. While it may not bear the weighty insignia of a higher star rating, its charm lies in the unpretentious embrace of its limitations, offering a unique and authentic experience that leaves an indelible mark on the wanderer's soul.Safety: it was safe

If all Best Western's were this nice, we'd be members. Here, the owners have thought of everything. Clean rooms, quiet air, lovely breakfast with all the extras. Congrats on your vision. You should hold a seminar on how to do it right. And, thank you.

Not sure why there's also a Best Western right across the street, which is more expensive and (at least IMHFO) is no visually nicer than the Wayfarers Inn & Suites. The staff is helpful and conversational, the WIFI is fast, the layout of the hotel means that you're almost assured a parking spot right in front of your room (a big plus for motorcycle touring), and there is an enclosed (as in: indoors) hot tub. The morning breakfast is one of the better ones I've had at Best Westerns; in terms of options, taste, fresh, etc. Also, while I've only stayed here twice, each time i saw law enforcement cars parked in the lot; as if they're staying here too. Which is also great for those who've had break-ins and/or had methies strip bungie cords off their motorbikes (at other hotels, in other places).

Check-in staff not helpful and argumentative, especially clerk named Serene. (Probably why she wasnt wearing a name badge) Mattresses were horrible and need to be replaced, caused back pain for myself and my much younger daughter. Room in need of minor repair and upgrade. No USB plugs, no outlets near refrigerator or microwave area. Shower fixtures needed to be secured to shower wall. Upholstered chair had gross stain where you sit. Felt unsafe since bathroom has a low big window that opens. Its big enough for someone to crawl through. I have stayed at a lot of Best Westerns, which is why i am a GOLD rewards member. I am definately rethinking my hotel choice. Even the owner was rude when he contacted me about my complaint, so don't expect any help from him. BEWARE and stay at your own risk.

This is where to stay in Kingman. Everything was clean, in good repair, and the breakfast was the best we've encountered since covid.
