I'm sorry. But this business is grossly overpriced. And I'm pretty sure that just because someone is enrolled in the H&R Block 32 hour course, that does not make them a 'tax specialist'.
I'm sure others may have differing opinions, but I feel our 'tax specialist' was not thorough at all, gave us incorrect information regarding tax credits and overall just seemed very unknowledgeable in regards to taxes.
I tried calling the office and was told our 'specialist' was not in the office that day and that they were 'supposed' to be in the next day, but the receptionist wasn't sure. The only number to reach our 'specialist' was the H&R Block office number. And after leaving messages and emailing twice we still haven't heard back so we don't know what's going on with our return.
Barring some great show of above-and -beyond customer service, I don't think I'd recommend this business

If your HR Block account was hacked I would recommend reporting this to the FTC.
A Hacking attempt was reported to HR Block and a month later
my account was hacked.
Six months later: No HR Block response was received for two hacking reports submitted.
Note: HR Block commit on hacking report response was 3-5 days.

You folks make it very easy for one who has very little interest in the technicalities of finance.Just filed my '23 taxes. I guess there was a technical issue resulting in slow responses to all their customers this year but Jamie did a great job, 5 stars

Did the online access for tax they did not send in the w-2s I had downloaded to them to the State of Arizona so that put them off a lot longer than it should take to get h&r block does not give you back any money you paid to have them do your taxes even though they messed up by not sending the w2. They consider the Taxas done online through there h&r block online access is mail-in. Do your taxes In person. The web access is a rip off.

i have been a customer here for 3 years and the stress of tax season can be the worst on some. but thank you paul currie for putting my mind at ease and the rest of the staff there that took the time to help me do my taxes and help me paid my owed tax as well. they go through the entire process step by step!highly recommend hrblock in person or online.

Use to have great experience with them not this year charged me for service that didn't live up to their standards refund came back but can't get it because they never sent me a card and now have just been getting run around wanting me to wait another 2 weeks to get new card this has been a total unsatisfactory service from one I thought could be trusted then no one or number to get with a person to resolve this issue don't believe I'll be using them again

We've used the Kingman AZ office for over 10 years. Really disappointing to have your appointment canceled twice in a row, both times hours before appointment. Wasting 2 Saturdays. So now we're going to try the office in Bullhead City.
