Had an issues with the uhaul they were nice and replaced it but they didn't refund the over 100$ in gas and said uhaul has to yet it was noted in my account that they had to and so I called uhaul back and they said they wont because the location has too so now I am out that money and stuck with this uhaul because all the other truck rental companies close in 5 minutes and I live too far to make it there in time.

This facility is and has been falsely advertising the of the storage units rented to consumers.
The lenght of the units are 1.6 feet shorter than advertised.
I brought this to the attention of the manager who stated the owner measures the lenght of the units from the back wall to exterior of the building, not to the storage unit door.
Although this makes no sense, I measured from building exterior to back wall of storage unit. It was still 8 inchs shorter than the advertised unit size.
The facility manager said it was industry standard to measure from the exterior instead of from the store unit door to back wall. This was complete fabrication.
If you rent from this facility you will not be getting what you are paying for.
After I posted my honest and factual review about the inaccurate size of the units The owner, Bill Robertson is advertising and renting, I recieved an eviction notice the next day.
Mr. Robertson also left me a 3 minute voicemail ranting and raving about how I was an idiot, stupid, troublemaker who didn't know anything about the real-estate or storage business.
After receiving eviction notice, I sent Bill an email explaining my position and stating the simple fact that he can not advertise and charge customers for storage units that are shorter in lenght by up to 1.6 ft.
He responded again by telling me what he thought about me using very offensive terms. However, he admitted that his units do not match the listed lenght, but it is how the industry measures storage units and I shouldn't be so anal about it.
If there was any question about the factual nature of what I have stated, the owners responses are all the proof needed.

Don’t rent here they NEVER fill in huge holes the only entry has ripped my tire because it is so deep. They won’t fix it.

I rented a 10x20 room to store some boxes. . I am new to this sort of thing. It is a very clean unit and feels secure. Tonya helped me, she was really friendly and helpful. Moving in was really easy with the cart. There is a door with a combination then your own locks on the unit. It does not seem damp or moldy, the ventilation is good. I rented a climate controlled room. I went down to home depot to buy some storage shelves, a table, and some circle locks. I would suggest you bring your own locks with you. You need to bring one of those super strong circle locks. My unit was double-wide, I needed 2 locks.

Helped a friend move her stuff out. As i parked in their parking lot a woman in a golf cart pulled up and demanded my name and unit number. I told her i was helping someone, she demanded their name unit number and my relationship to them.. This woman was a cask of vinegar, let me tell you what.

Made a reservation 5/13/22 on uhaul website for a 10x10x8 climate controlled unit with their added (optional) insurance plan beginning 5/25/22. On Saturday 5/21/22 Judy called me asking if I really wanted the unit because everyone that reserved online has never shown up for their reservation. I confirmed that I did in fact want and need the unit. She tells me that is fine and the unit will be available on 5/25, this morning Tanya calls me to inform me that the unit has been rented out and that they have NO OTHER UNITS available.What is the point of being available on the uhaul websit for reservations if you aren’t going to keep the reservations that are made? If I had known it was going to be like that I would have come down and paid for the unit before I actually needed it to save myself such a headache.Good thing a completely unrelated company in town was able to provide us with the unit needed at an even better rate.Uhaul shouldn’t have these people on their website since they don’t offer the services uhaul does.
