“Home Depot used to be fun 20 years ago. I've dreaded having to go there any time since then. However, tonight was different. There was an exceptional employee named Mark who helped us with fasteners and brackets. The dude in Lumber was good too, but Mark used old school customer service skills, and it was refreshing. The shopping at Home Depot experience still wasn't as fun as it used to be; it did not stimulate my creative side or make me want to build something. But knowing I have access to an accommodating employee, if I do decide to create something, could motivate to start thinking about it.”
