do not use this company. lies and deception. no representative in the area. the headquarters is in pennsylvania. the agents lie and transfer you to parts unknown. i have called and logged 13 times about my tank rental. it went from $80.29 to $963.00. overnight. that was after the original rental payment was satisfied. i had to cancel service, got no explanation or satisfaction. this was the worse business i have ever dealt with. i have no idea how they are still in business. please save yourself the headaches and go elsewhere.

They used to be the best. Always answering the phone and helpful, now you are routed to a call center in another country! One of the agents I talked to in an Asian accent told me she wanted to make me "Happy, Happy" and could not answer my questions!!!! They are now the worst ever. I would rate them a negative 100 if I could. My automatic delivery stopped for some reason. Now I am a disabled widow with no way to cook, take a warm bath, heat my home, etc!!! I plan to change companies as soon as I can!

I hired Amerigas to fill a propane tank used to heat our spa. They have horrible service and they are nearly impossible to reach by phone. Despite never receiving a notice or receipt that the tank had been fixed, I paid the fuel charge and had a negative balance. I then received a new bill for "inspection" for $170 plus late fees $105. Ultimately, I had to hire a plumber to get gas to flow from their "inspected" tank. I will never use them again.

I CANT EVEN GIVE ONE STAR FOR THIS AMERIGAS CO OF LAKE HAVASU.5 years ago we bought a house that had an America's tank that supplies our propane. They are very good at billing for the tank. The problem is last October my wife walked past the tank and smelt leaking propane. She called right away to report the leak. They did send out a very nice man to check it. It said he tried to seal it but couldn't. At this point he disconnect it so we had no propane. He called his office and told us that someone would be right out to change the leaking tank. After numerous calls and promises to send someone out. The bottom line is NOTHING was done. Nov 24 the day before Thanksgiving someone came out. We asked is he going to exchange the tank. He said the only thing they told him was the tank was RED TAGED and check it out. So for four weeks we couldn't cook and now we told him that we can't even cook the Thanksgiving dinner we had bought. He said well let's see what I can do. He reconnected the tank to the house. He said it's still leaking but you can cook your dinner tomorrow and someone will be sent out in a day or so to replace the leaking tank. Today is Jan 4th 2021. The tank is still leaking. I called this morning and the recording said someone would be with you in 15 min. Now it's 1 hour and 25 min and I'm still on hold. If I ran my company like this I would have been out of business years ago, I'm in year 55 of my co. There are other choices and if you need propane DON'T USE AMERIGAS!I did ask if my house blows up from their leaking tank would they be responsible.... THERE WAS NO RESPONSE FROM THEIR AGRNT.

Terrible customer service I've ever had. On hold forever, and a month to two months to even get service. After on hold for 3 hours only to be disconnected. I will never use them again.

Negative Stars, but the review won't post unless I put a start. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. ZERO customer service. Their website NEVER works. They don't respond to emails. Their live chat doesn't work. I prepaid for 200 gallons of propane and 2 weeks later I still do not have propane. I am about to run out, and with a baby in the house, I will not have hot water, or a stove to cook on.

When you call to order gas. And you miss placed your account information to do it online. You will have to call. The on hold information that they give you says you will be answered in the order it was received. You will be on hold for 49min. After that it disconnects you. Then you have to start all over again. Then wait another 49min and it will hang up on you. By the fourth time. You'll just start a new Service with another company a lot closer to your home. This is a horrible company/corporation. They rave about customer service yet the customers can't get a hold of them. It seems you could only get a hold of them if you want to start a new account but not if you have an existing account. The person I did get in contact with tried calling the office and had the same issue.
