Grew up at this church when it was much more simple looking. It looks like an atrocity now! It used to have an air of humility though still Novus Ordo. What an ugly sight it is now!!

My grandmother was one of the people that put this place on the map. She extended her self with a very large amount of volunteer work and cash..then they kept switching people and priests..then she got put on home and requested communion several times and the people would not show up or do that and she god sad and gave up on the church. All because the church could not follow or give to a lady that gave to much to them.. I'm a decent..and this is one of the reasons I do not care for you people. One..I'm also a theologian. So your creeps glad shes away from you..was going to ask you to but I will do it..as many should

Paster gets lost in homily because there to long. Thinks he is smarter then the people. Summons are for children. Example he was teaching 50 to 80 year old people in church how make the sigh of the cross. I just stopped going.

Why would I rate a church anything but a 5? This a beautiful place of worship.

Roman Catholic Church, friendly environment, a few fun priests and deacons that give entertaining and informative homilies.

The church is beautiful but is not the friendliest place on earth. Going to church alone is an experience. About 2 years ago I came back to the church after 19 years away. I attended for a while but I avoided people here. I kept greetings brief and conversion superficial . I came early but left quickly after the service. It surprise me how easy it was to hide in plain sight even when I sat in the front row or pew. What surprised me even more since then is how common this experience is in any Catholic Church. It is the most dehumanizing place on earth for a single divorce person to come to. I feel more spiritual at an NFL game especially the "Hail Mary Pass." People are friendly and even introduce themselves even when the sit right next to you. But I get none of this at church. For many this has become the normal. In my case, this was a phase of anonymity and alienation ,(wasted months that still grieve me). I even paid off the mortgage on one church around 2 years as a northern parishioner. For many however anonymous attendance is all they know of the church . It is perpetual and permanent . So I left the Catholic Church. People here at this church make me feel like I don't belong . Well congratulations. Mission accomplished . When I see the church all I see is a cold, cruel, bitter, heartless building that also includes the priests AMEN ! ? The one person that made me believe in God spiritual ,faith, trust, forever is JOEL OSTEEN not a priest!?

Went to a funeral where the priest was so rude to the family of the departed. He refused to let the family speak at their own loved ones funeral because they did notify him properly and as he stated "the schedule was set" Schedule? It was him and the family. It was up to him to be sure they knew of his arbitrary protocol. I was a hospice chaplain at the time. I've been to hundreds of funerals. Never have I seen such craven arrogance (and stupidity). All he had to do was step aside and let the woman speak. But his ego is absurdly - grossly - over inflated. He not only refused to let her speak he lectured her on protocol in front of all the guests. Protocol she (and none of us) have ever heard of. Then after the service I was standing next to her when he greeted the family line, and she told him how hurt she was. He said "I did nothing wrong!" And again lectured her (on his importance). He is incapable of empathy and common sense. It's all about his "performance." It was a show and he was the star. Don't you forget it. Just offensively gross. Horrific how selfish he was. No social skills whatsoever. I guess that explains why he's in a tiny desert town. But Havasu deserves SO MUCH BETTER!

We visit Lake Havasu 4 times a year. Each time we go there we attend the weekend Mass there on Saturday evening. It is always a wonderful and beautiful experience. We feel the presence of God and his people every time we go there.
