I scheduled a redelivery days in advance, took PTO for the day (that I didn't have to waste), and no one showed up. I then got a notice the next day on my door saying they tried again and I wasn't there. I then received a notice that my item was being sent back due to them having it for too long, even though they failed to make the delivery when they were supposed to.A very nice rep on the phone got a message to them to hold it since they failed to deliver it when they were supposed to. I got a call from the Laveen office saying that I could pick up my package the following day. When I get the office that next morning they tried to tell me that my package hadn't arrived yet from "another facility" and that I had to come back later in the day. After a bunch of complaining they went into the back of the office and brought out my package that they said wasn't there. The lady then tried to be smart with me saying that "You should have just signed the paper and put it in your box". She tried to make it seem like it was my fault they didn't even try to deliver my package on the scheduled date. She was completely dismissive of the facts and made up her own version of the case to skirt blame away from their obvious mistake. If there was an attempt made on the day it was scheduled there would have been a notice or some kind of documentation and there is none.

I was immediately told to wait outside the glass doors. There were 2 others at the windows being helped. I always get poopy service from 2 postal workers here. I dont take the USPS for granted but they could at least have some customer service. Like I said it's always the same 2 workers. It makes me loathe coming to pick up a package everytime, knowing I may have to deal with them.

As a new resident of the area I drove past this post office not realizing that this tiny building is the post office. The population and new builds expansion in the area have exploded in the last few years so I was expecting a much bigger building. It is definitely a small town post office in what is no longer a small town. Hopefully it will be upgraded soon. I visited in July when it was not busy but I hate to imagine Christmas season. The parking lot is small, the building is small but it is very charming. I found the people that work inside to be friendly and helpful. I had no problems mailing things out or parking but I can foresee this place being a nightmare during busy package mailing season.

Nice when they're open but a complete A-HOLE as soon as the time turns to 1230 or 430pm. My box didn't fit through the parcel door to drop off my mail. The employee opened the door and said we're close(it was 1230pm) and refused to take by box. Literally could of just took it and placed it in the outgoing mail which would of took 2 seconds. And the workers were just laughing in the background.

This Laveen post office is a joke. The lady working there is very unkind and unprofessional. I had to send two regular sized envelopes that include very important documents to a same non-profit organization in town. She told me to use the service costs me $20 per envelope ( that is $40 for both) otherwise it is not guaranteed to be delivered in a few days since they expect many delay and lost. So I left this office and went to the tolleson office. The guy working there was very helpful and my costs for overnight was only $9.99 for both envelopes. Since my envelopes had already first class postages on he even gave me discount for the postages on the service. I could track the service and my envelopes were delivered safely next day.

So, I typically ship alot but this is not my fave location for the post office. Why? As others have said, it's tiny. 2 registers at once on the busiest day. This is why I choose to whenever possible, pay for my stuff online and then just bring in the packages to be shipped. No standing in line, no waiting, just here you go, thanks have a great day! I try never to come when it's busy, or around the xmas holidays. I've seen the line hanging out the door and literally 4 people there and it's already full. The employees have always been helpful and I typically hear people complaining that they've had to buy tape. Guys, have you never shipped anything before? It's always been that way! I've been shipping since 2005 regularly at post offices. I prefer the larger ones with the self service area where you can just stand in line and do your own thing because let's face it, we are in a hurry. But, this is the closest one to me. Yes, it needs an upgrade, the prices have gone up for USPS at least 3x in the last 18months alone. It is A lot to ship these days. But so is UPS and Fed ex. Unfortunately I have to ship most holiday gifts to family who doesn't live in my state and I've had to resort to Amazon shopping just for the free delivery aspect. I get it though, USPS has been under a lot of stress for years and I believe are underpaid and overworked. Sadly it's not fair for those who work there and for us consumers. Be smart and have your stuff ready to go, bring your own tape! Or go online and bring the packages over. Also, you can request package pick up from your own home incase anyone doesn't know that.

I love using the old way of being assisted with my mailing needs. I love the counter service provided, by those trained in offering courteous service, professionalism and patience. Our letters, packages and postal needs are important. Using the walk in means we're trusting you to be the go between for that perfect connection on each end. So I thank you for handling my postal needs with the trust we place in you!

Small local postal office and I have been here often over the 2 years I’ve lived in Laveen. I’ve personally received good customer service even when the lines have been very long and they have been quick and efficient.

This place looks like a dog shelter. In desperate need of a remodel. The service there is not great compared to UPS. Place doesn't provide tape for a post office . They make you pay for things that should already be provided already. I see why people use UPS now. Terrible

They never answer the phone or return messages. I had a package they were holding. I went online and requested redelivery for Saturday. They tried Tuesday when no one is home and are holding it again. My work schedule doesn't allow me to go and pickup during your hours. Why are you making it so difficult?

Horrible horrible horrible customer service, the way they talk to you makes you think you work for them or something. The customer service makes someone want to drive further out

It's a small office so they lines can get pretty long during a rush. But I feel like that's the case with literally any post office.Martha is who I usually encounter when I go and she is very helpful and knowledgable. She has even gone as far as helping me re-tape a box that was incorrectly taped. She also never seems rushed or irritated which I appreciate. Thanks for being dope Martha! :)
