Proper dive bar for people who like proper dives. This ain’t the St. Regis so come in with an open mind and a good sense of humor. You’ll be fine.

Nice friendly dive bar.Every small town should have one of these bars if they don't already. This one is the best one I've been to (I don't go to bars usually). The bar tenders are friendly, drinks are priced right, and they do other events. There is a little store next door.

Walked and tried to order 2 beers after coming back from a funeral. Waiting for 7 mins while the bartender old woman was flirting with a customer. While still waiting 4 people walked in up to the bar, bartender totally dismissed me again and took those people’s beer order. Since she was getting a coors beer for them I said politely can I please have two coors light as well (since I was standing by the fridge) she said wait a minute. I said “I was here first” and said “you wait min”. So I walked out. Very rude and sexist. If you’re not local, white or gay don’t bother going here. I’m a good tipper so her loss and my gain cause I went next door to the dam store and got my beers cheaper with a lovely service from the young lady who works there.

If you like quick local bar stops, this is it. Easy on off exit, rustic at best, local flavor.

This is a happening place every now and then. Atmosphere is usually great, everyone having a good time and all nobody fighting it being too belligerent. Always a good thing. My service was slow sometimes but for the most part it was fine. I had a good time.

The boyfriend and I stayed here during the holidays in 2021, if you don't stay for the entire time that you prepaid for you get absolutely no refund for the days you don't stay there. Because of that I will never go back. Never had any other place do that and I won't visit a place again that did. Pretty shady to not get refunded for days you didn't even stay there.

Love the local vibe. Good music, clean bat, good food. Way better than a casino! Thanks bartender Dave Matthews!!!

I've been coming to this place with my mom and dad since before I can remember. The community is great everybody's nice and it's one hell of a great price for their drinks. I hope that this place is around as long as my memories are my mom and dad.

3 stars? What's up with that? Well I decided to review The Dam Bar and the Dam Station with a review that might actually help people who Google Arizona Lottery and see that this place offers events and think "well that could be fun let's make a day out of it."First off 3 stars isn't bad, it's not good it's just the middle of the road and here is why....It's for the most part a locals hang out. If you've driven through Beaver Dam you see it's not a huge place and so more often then not there is locals there, and bikers, and the Lottery runners who drive down from SoUT and further to get their scratches (yup I'm one of them), to have a cocktail without the local UT Bishops and Relief Society shaking their heads in disapproval, or to listen to small venue outside live local music which happens with varying regularity here.So that sounds pretty awesome right? Well here's the rub..... any event we tried to go to unless we showed up at 8 am there is no where to sit and enjoy it as there are little chair cities erected early and stay all day, so while the music rocks unless you're literally going to give it the day maybe don't plan on being super comfortable. The Station is a smaller convenience store and while they have decent prices for an off the freeway stop, there is no gas station so... no fuel... you may have to wait to get in if the power ball is up over a couple hundred million and you'll wait in line for the register..... if you're cashing a scratcher most of the staff is SUPER friendly but one of them seems to just dislike the world and can come across grouchy.... not sure why. I'm sure he's personally a great person but it seems he's always inconvenienced when we want to cash out our scratchers, no matter how much we tip. And yes it's good karma to tip if you win guys. The Bar is not bad and the food is pretty good but the bathrooms are old and dated and if you are squeamish about odors..... they aren't the most amazing porcelain throne room you'll visit... not the worst but far from the best. They seem very kind to regulars here but when you have a new face and you try and be kind you might get a cold shoulder.... maybe it's just me.... maybe I have a dislikeable face.Anyway, if you're bringing kids.... just know they may learn some new words, they may be encumbered by cigarette smoke, and if bikers are in town perhaps they may even learn some anatomy (okay that only happened the one time, but it feels like it happens with semi regularity)All in all I like the Dam Place and literally stop in every time we drive through.... for scratchers mostly.... and while I have never had a BAD time.... I've also never had an amazing one either.Kid-friendliness: There is road treats and juice to be had at the Station.... there is also smoking, drinking, swearing and the occasional mentally unstable person hanging around the bathrooms..... bring your kids just maybe keep a good eye on them.Parking: Dirt and gravel parking lot, no designated parking grid so you may or may not fit in what looks like a space and some people peeling out can shoot gravel at your car.... so.... if that concerns you park further away and walk over.Wheelchair accessibility: I wouldn't call this place wheelchair friendly while their doors meet code I've had a few people say their chair won't get into the station door, the bathrooms are super wheelchair friendly but can be navigated, and the bar is hit or miss being able to get around chairs and table set up.
