*MILITARY BEWARE* Dropped off a dress and a Airforce top for ranks to be put on…. This was on Monday and was told they would be ready Wednesday. Today I go in and none of the clothes were dry cleaned. THEY TRIED TO CHARGE ME $20 TO SEW ON RANKS and not have my clothing even ready.

I am a retired Air Force Veteran who has used Cactus Cleaners several times since I was an Airman back in the days. On November 3, 2021, I took 3 shirts to Cactus Cleaners to get them slightly stitched at the sleeves. I dropped them off with an old man who works at the front register. I asked him how much it would cost and he told me no more than $7. I asked him to put the price on the receipt and he said don't worry about it. On November 5, 2021 when I went to pick up the shirts, he told me the total cost was $20. I asked why was the price almost 3 times the price he originally told me and he did not give me a reason. I reminded him that he told me the cost was $7 and he just stared at me with no response. I was totally confused and shocked at his nonchalant demeanor. I asked to speak to the manager and he said: "you're looking at him!" I reminded him I've come to this cleaner before (I usually go to the Asian lady whom I believe was the owner) and the service was usually good. He laughed and said nothing and then held out his hand for the money. I paid the money then asked for his name and he reluctantly told me it was Bob Stevens. I took a picture as verification and advised him I would let the military members at Luke Air Base know what type of service I received. He said "I don't care" with a smirk on his face as he just sat back in his chair. He was totally rude, disrespectful, and lacked professionalism and customer service.

They have been starching my clothes for months now, never a problem and always done fast. They are one of the few cleaners that can actually starch your jeans heavy. Nice people!Service: Standard cleaning

I just went in to get Velcro sewn on the back of a couple of patches. I was immediately welcomed when I came in, and was told they could do my patches right then. Patches were done in a few minutes, sewn correctly, and they thanked me on the way out for coming in. My only complaint was the price, $15.00 for two patches, and I have at least a dozen more to sew. I did find another place that's more economical, but with a 2 day wait. Either that, or buy a sewing machine.

Please don't go here. They absolutely butchered two of my uniforms, lost pieces, and lied. Saying that they would fix the mistakes for no cost, I came back a week later to pick up the uniforms, and they had the audacity to BILL ME AGAIN and even INCREASE the charge, before allowing me to leave with the uniforms! The quality was still extremely poor.If you're looking for lying, overcharging, disputed transactions, poor work, and harassment - then this is your place.

Please spare yourself the time and DO NOT go here the lady is so rude and they tried to charge me twice. I called their phone number to ask if my husbands jacket was ready. She didn't even know who I was or what jacket I was referring to she was so rude on the phone and was like " hurry up and come get your jacket, I'm trying to go home "! Like seriously my husband paid when he dropped it off and when I picked it up she said he hadn't paid. Luckily I called him and he confirmed he had paid, they were being persistent that he hadn't paid although I had the receipt in my hand. I had to pull up my bank statement to prove the transaction was done. So unprofessional!

I have been using cactus cleaners for the past 20 years and have never had a problem with them.
