Beware of unauthorized add-ons!
I visited this AT&T store yesterday to purchase a new phone outright, as an existing customer. I made it very clear that I was not financing the phone and did not want to change anything about my current plan. The transaction was handled by Alejandro R. — he took my credit card and completed the sale, but I was never asked to review any charges, or given anything to sign.
When I got home, I discovered that both phone insurance and AT&T Next Up had been added to my account without my knowledge or consent — both of which increase my monthly bill. At no point during the interaction did Alejandro mention these services, ask for approval, or inform me that anything beyond the phone itself was being added. This feels deceptive and unethical.
I now have to spend my time getting these charges removed and making sure my account isn't further affected. Very disappointing experience. AT&T needs to take accountability for this kind of upselling without consent.

Don't buy any accessories here, AT&T won't help with any warranties for screen protectors.

Would give zero stars if I could. Walked in and tried to transfer 3 lines from Verizon, walked out with a disconnected Verizon account, a non-op AT&T account and 2 bricked phones. *Edit* Pay no attention to the AI generated reply below, I haven't heard from anyone and the store manager literally hid from me when she saw me enter the store. 611 and the chat on the website are equally as useless in helping us resolve the issue.

Leaving a strong customer service review for assistance today in clearing old phones after switching services, and getting the credit for the older phones. We had a few hiccups on our end, and they helped us work through it quickly. Awesomely friendly as well. 4/18/25
