No-Showed for 64 Bale Delivery Twice In a Row
I set up with Jason, the owner of Walker Hay Yard, to have 64 bales of #1 Bermuda delivered to the East Side of Tucson after seeing the extremely good prices on Facebook ($18 per bale plus $100 delivery fee with no hand stacking). Jason encouraged me to order 128 bales as this hay was extremely good quality, but he can only deliver 64 bales at a time, unless you are ordering a truckload of 512 bales. The $100 delivery charge would have been charged for each delivery, so we opted for 64 bales. Jason assigned the delivery date of September 11, 2024 at 4 PM, but when we hadn’t heard anything by 4:45 PM I reached out and Jason apologized that he had gotten busy and forgotten. We rescheduled for September 16, 2024 at 4 PM, but he again had not showed up or reached out by 4:58 PM.
The hay quality looks good in pictures, so hopefully picking up from this business as opposed to delivery produces better results.

I just started getting my hay there because I was tired of paying 15 a bale for alfalfa . This place is 13.50 a bale. The only thing that’s a pain in the butt is they take cash only. I never carry cash so I have to drive to ATM to get cash before I go there and sometimes when I just want to grab hay on the way home from work then that extra stop is annoying LOL. They do accept tips as well. The hay actually has been better than the 15 a bale I was paying at a local feed store.
