I don't write many reviews but sometimes you just have too! My review is not only about the stellar quality of the German Shepherds Abbott's have but the family that owns the business. I have been around German Shepherds for 50 years. I have never met Breeders that work so hard and do it with passion and knowledge of the breed.I should clarify I have never purchased a dog from them but have met a some of the family and you can absolutely trust them!I met Shell Abbott about 3.5 years ago and could not have been more impressed. I recently became ill and Shell and her family helped me in many ways. This is a quality that IMHO is very hard to fine in todays world.I got more help and support from Ashelle then I have from people I have known for decades. I am blown away by the kindness shown with actions during this very difficult time in my life. If you need a dog trainer , groomer or the highest quality German Shepherd you need look no further then Abbott's German Shepherds to find the newest member to your family with there Experience, knowledge and kindness! Thank you!

I have had excellent experience with Abbott's shepherds for over 12 years.I am in the process of obtaining my 4th German shepherd from them. That is probably the best recommendation I can give.

This year I made the decision to finally start looking into getting a German Shepard. After calling around to various breeders I spoke to Shell and knew Abott’s German Shepards was the route to take. Shell was happy to talk for well over a half an hour explaining their practices, health and wellness of their dogs, answering every question I had and was responsive every time I needed to reach out. The wait for a puppy was long but let me tell you it was worth every minute! We picked up our puppy 5 days ago and we couldn’t be more pleased with our entire experience! Once you select your puppy they send you photos and emails along the way giving you everything you need to prepare for your puppy’s arrival and consistently update you on your their growth. When we arrived at the location to pick up our puppy few of her gorgeous dogs greeted us. The kennel was in plain view, which was huge for me to know that they are well taken care of and that was obvious to see there and on her Facebook page. We got to meet both parents and witnessed their calm, sweet and well mannered temperaments. Our puppy is everything we wanted and more. Thank you Shell and Ranelle Abott for a wonderful experience and the perfect pup!

I arrived at Abbott's German Shepherds by way of the AKC search, within 50 miles from Phoenix. Imagine being raised in the open outdoors, farm like setting near Maricopa! Every part of the process was explained and pictures began to arrive when my puppy, Maia, was at 4 weeks. I was given a description of: confident without being pushy. I did not realize the traits could be so accurately identified. She knows my floor plan, my routines, where the water is located, the correct door in and out, she sleeps through the night quietly, and is so happy to see me. And we are just beginning our adventure! It's clear that every aspect of birth to transition to the new family setting is handled with precision.

We have one of Abbott’s German Shepherds. He is an amazing dog. He is fully trained and certified as service dog. He is healthy and strong. I wouldn’t get a German Shepherd anywhere else then here. Abbott’s provides owners with a healthy, very high caliber Shepherd. I rest assured that our Shepherd has a dramatically reduced chance of having hereditary hip issues or other problems. He has a sweet and kind disposition and is highly intelligent. We can’t wait to get another German Shepherd from Abbott’s in the fall!!

Ashelle is the best to work with! She has patience, empathy and is not afraid to be firm when needed. Dogs in class respect and love her. We have rescue shepherd mixes that achieved their Canine Good Citizen awards with her help. Even better is the trust and obedience they have. We camp and hike frequently and know that our girls will not leave our sides or run off after wildlife even off leash because of the techniques and training we got through Out of the Shell. Thank you for helping us gain the best lifetime companions.

We’ve been looking for a German shepherd for years. We are beyond happy we came across Ags dogs. Since the first phone call we could tell how professional Shell is. They care not only about the dogs’ physical health, but also they care about their mental health, development and everything in between. We could tell how much they love what they do, it shows right away. We highly recommend them to any families looking for a German Shepherd. Our experience was fantastic. We got our puppy today and we’re already thinking when to get the next one.

We have been blessed to have two AGSDogs. First King James in 2010 then Titus in 2013.They are both at the rainbow bridge now and are sorely missed.The Abbott's have valuable experience that they in turn pass on to their clients.You seriously can't go wrong with their dogs, guidance or training.The Abbots love what they do

I got my dog Titus a little over 3 years ago. He is the best good. Very smart and wants to learn but can be stubborn one occasion. I would highly recommend this breeder.

I am so happy I found Abbott's German Shepherds..I researched the breed and different breeders (some out of state) and Abbott's German Shepherd was the best. Not only with quality, health and excellent genes but they also care very deeply for their German Shepherds and bettering the breed!! I've been out to their property.. It was clean, dogs were happy, amazing air conditioned kennel area with doggie door to outside and inside the house. She sat down with me and went over everything and gave me vitamins and some puppy food to get started. I LOVE my Scooby.. Here's the best dog I've ever had.. He's intelligent, very fast learner, eager to please, excellent temperament, he's goofy (makes me laugh at least once a day), he tries to outsmart me (I always win lol) and just the sweetest boy ever!! I cannot say enough good things about Abbott's German Shepherds!
