Called this location three times and was on hold for a total of an hour and they kept hanging up on me. Called corporate and they connected me and it just rings and then goes to music then rings and goes back to music. Someone answers and then goes back to music. This place sucks.

There is no Wi-Fi in this store. Not only do they not offer a free wifi, you can't even get reception for ANY wifi. Thus you can't access GoodRx for coupons. Very slow service at 4:20 pm. Very unhelpful after standing in line for 10 minutes because one customer was having issues with her insurance card. So, she hangs up one service person for 20 minutes?? What a disaster. Walgreens- Maricopa- John Wayne PKWY- Went to pick up some photo reprints. Walked by 2 employees that were at the register chatting and too busy to walk over to help me get my photos. I got them myself. The employee then in a condescending tone told me I wasn't supposed to get them myself. I told her I saw no signs stating otherwise. She said I should just "know" that I can't get them myself. You saw me walking over to the photo area. There was no one else in the store. Just pure laziness.

Back in the day I would've given a five star, but is seems like the communication has gone down just a bit. The pharmacists here are awesome though and make sure to take care of you. Overall, I'd recommend it!

Good luck getting a hold of the pharmacy! Anytime my husband and I try calling to make sure everything is good and ready to go after getting a call that more information is needed from our insurance... you can NEVER get a hold of anyone.

For the three months I've been to the pharmacy here, with poor service every time. They never answer the phone, when they do pick up half the time they hang up on you or talk to you for a minute after finally answering the phone call that you've been on hold for hour. I was told yesterday on two different calls and exorbitant amount of time on hold that my prescription would be filled shortly. Finally I went to the pharmacy and he told me it was too soon for a refill, after 10 minutes of explaining it wasn't a refill but in fact a brand new script. Another 30 minutes waiting and I finally got my meds. When I politely told the tech the nightmare I went through and the total of 2 1/2 hours of my time, he was extremely rude and told me sarcastically "sorry you had to wait"

I've been going to this Walgreens since I moved to Maricopa back in 2014 and there's nothing bad I can say about this Walgreens (JW blvd)even with the pharmacy Department they've always been on top of their game Beyond greatness and I just always wanted to say thank you guys for your contribution to the city of Maricopa I know you guys have a stressful job but you guys were great under pressure and I can't thank you enough

I just sat on the phone waiting for the pharmacy for an hour and ended up getting disconnected. CVS is no better. We need better pharmacies in town! Feeling pissed off.

Store is great but Pharmacy service is not. I was physically inside at the pharmacy, not in the drive thru. Two techs available but only 1 helping the customer in front of me having insurance issues. I'm the only person waiting in line for over 5 minutes. The other tech blatantly blew me off. But The moment a car pulls up to the drive thru window that tech snapped into action & immediately helped the customer. After that the tech goes on her merry way and again blows me off. I was pissed & stormed out of the store and went to the drive thru after I calmed down. It took every bit of self constraint not to go off on that tech as she helped in the drive thru. I'm thinking of switching to CVS now after the way I was treated today.

I have never met a man so mean, as the pharmacist in charge today. Went in with very specific notes from my doctor and left in tears after basically being called stupid. I just don't understand why people have to be so rude to strangers, he said he refusing to fill my prescriptions because he doesn't agree with my doctors plan. Which is fine, but call the doctor, you don't have to belittle customers over something out of their control. So hurtful. UPDATE: switched to CVS pharmacy and was treated so kindly I really hope Walgreens changes how they treat people.

I've never been inside the store, but the drive-thru pharmacy is slower than molasses and it doesn't seem like the pharmacists are the brightest bulbs in the chandelier. Unlike any other Walgreen's I've been to. I am thoroughly unimpressed and won't ever be back.
