I recently had the pleasure of visiting Usery Mountain park, and I must say that it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the sheer beauty and majesty of the park's rugged terrain, which was unlike anything I had ever seen before.\\n\\nOne of the things that impressed me most about the park was its incredible diversity of plant and animal life. Despite the harsh and seemingly inhospitable conditions of the desert, the park was teeming with all sorts of creatures, from lizards and snakes to birds and mammals. I was particularly taken with the park's stunning array of cacti, which came in all shapes and sizes and seemed to glow in the warm desert sun.\\n\\nAnother highlight of my visit was the park's numerous hiking trails, which offered breathtaking views of the surrounding desert landscape. I spent hours exploring the park's rugged terrain, marveling at the towering rock formations, dramatic canyons, and sparkling streams that dotted the landscape.\\n\\nBut perhaps what impressed me most about the park was the sense of peace and tranquility that pervaded the entire area. Despite the park's popularity, I found myself able to completely disconnect from the stresses of everyday life and immerse myself in the serene beauty of the desert.\\n\\nOverall, I would highly recommend this Regional park to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable outdoor experience. Whether you're an avid hiker, a nature lover, or simply looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, this park has something to offer everyone. So pack your sunscreen, lace up your hiking boots, and get ready to be awed by the natural wonders of the desert.

a wonderful place to do some hiking meditation! very peaceful (if you go early enough when the guns at the range aren't going off)! if you are itchin' to get a close up look of different varieties of cacti, this is a great place to do so! went on the 7+ mile pass mountain trail. lots of lovely wildflowers and wildlife! ?❣️

I absolutely loved this park! It was gorgeous! There are trails everywhere for biking and hiking. The desert ecosystem is mesmerizing and this sits at the base of beautiful mountains. There are several covered picnic areas and playground equipment for the kids. The best part of the day was being able to view the fantastic sunset. I included some pictures, but it hardly does justice to the beauty of seeing it in person. Enjoy!

Great, well maintained trails. Always clean and no litter that I've ever seen. I don't know if it's the park staff maintaining it, the trail users respecting their natural resources or a combination of both. Watch for chollas on the trail after storms as a tire can kick them into your legs. All the facilities that I used were clean and well maintained. Annual passes are very reasonable and if you are a disabled veteran they are available at a steeply discounted rate.

Beautiful desert landscape! As a photographer I love this area to shoot for golden hour with the smaller mountains providing some shade from the sun. One thing we did notice is the playgrounds that are shown on Maps are no longer there.. instead just a small swing at one playground and a few desert theme structures to climb on.. not a typical playground.

Great place to explore and hike! We hiked the Windy Cave trail in the middle of the day, which was a bit hot, but the view from Windy Cave was well worth the climb and the heat! You can also spy the Phoenix arrow across the way.

Great park in northeast Mesa for hiking, trail biking, and camping. A beautiful slice of the Sonoran desert with a lot of diverse flora and fauna to see. There are trails for all difficulty levels, Wind Cave being one of the most popular. I recommend the trail that goes all the way around the mountain; I believe it is called Pass Mountain trail. Great place to visit, hike, bike if you are in the area.

Great place to stay for a few days. The spots are clean and neat. Bbq and picnic table at each spot. Great views and great park. We walked around and hiked some trails. The pond was really neat to check out, and so was the info center. They have a few snakes and great info. The park is big and has great areas to hike and have picnics all over. Very close to the salt river as well! We will be coming back in the future.

We camped at the Buckhorn Campground and it was lovely. Beautiful desert while it's not too hot. Good size spaces with fire grill. Very clean restrooms with shower. We'll be back

We were in the area to visit family and found this hidden gem. The price was reasonable and the showers were clean, which is obviously a plus and the 360 views were beautiful!

We were staying in Mesa for a couple of months and wanted to do some hiking. Thus park is very close so decided to do the wind cave trail.. You have to pay a fee to enter the park but if you go a lot you can purchase an annual pass. The park is well maintained and you have great views so great place to visit. There are a lot of trails from easy to moderate so take your pick.

We rented Ramada C1-C2 \\u0026 D1-D2 ( both time blocks 9-6)for a celebration of Life for our daughter. This gave us the entire parking lot , 16 concrete tables with benches, the bathroom facilities, water fountain and the entire shaded children's play area. This was perfect for our event and would be and excellent location for a gathering of 80+ people. The mountain backdrop and beautiful desert flora was amazing.

This regional park is absolutely breathtaking. There are many options here with hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and more. The people working the checkin station and at the Visitors Center are always friendly and extremely helpful when we visit. The hikes are all on well maintained trails and their are usually rangers around to help answer questions on directions or landscape. The Wind Cave Trail is a must. The facilities are well kept and there are plenty of picnic spots throughout the park. Happy to be annual members after visiting 3 days in one week. This is also the perfect place to get engagement and maternity photos done.

absolutely beautiful. You can hike or horseback ride through this beautiful part of Arizona. There are not enough words to describe the beauty out in the desert. This is a part of Arizona that you become part of nature
