We contracted Mayflower in Iowa to move a small apartment worth of stuff (mostly boxes, but some furniture) to Mesa. Clayton and Juan delivered the crates of stuff to us in Mesa, and they were fantastic! We could tell they were frustrated with the way things were packed by Mayflower in Iowa. Some of the plastic totes and wooden furniture items were damaged in transport, but we will be working with Mayflower to rectify this. The guys here in Mesa were kind, professional, and gentle with all of the stuff and the new apartment. I would recommend their services to others.

We stored our furniture with AAction Movers for 5 months while we were in the process of moving. Upon delivery, we discovered that all six of our leather dining room chair seats were damaged. The company would take no responsibility for any reimbursement toward re-upholstering. We were led to believe when researching moving companies that we had the appropriate insurance through the company. BEWARE...if you agree to have AAction store your furniture, except in the event of a natural disaster or major motor vehicle accident, they accept NO responsibility for any damage to your furniture. What a disappointment....I would never recommend them to anyone.

Horrible experience. Aaction movers was contracted through United, whom I contacted for the moving services. For move from one state to another, 1k miles away: During the walkthrough which was conducted virtually, I stated multiple times I needed full services from packing to unpacking since my husband and I are full time workers. The quote that came in was for partial services. I couldn’t get the coordinator to contact me back. After over a week of unsuccessful calls, messages, texts and emails, I contacted the office and had to speak with someone else. After that, the coordinator contacted me back and said my file was updated. I thought we were good.Packing day, the packers were an hour late. Loading day, they were an hour late. Delivery of my goods were four days past the estimated delivery date. I had no issue with that. Due to the delay, I couldn’t be there for the delivery and told my sister to make sure everything was unpacked because I had paid $1400 extra from the quote for the full services. She called me later saying they wouldn’t unpack but because she was insistent, they took the boxes and dumped the items on the mattresses and floors. She sent pictures of my belongings dumped in piles in my room. I was livid and called the office. They said I had only paid for the packing services not the the unpacking. I told her that delivery had dumped my stuff in heaps. I was told, ‘dumping of my stuff wasn’t supposed to happen. I’m sorry. But there’s nothing we can do. You didn’t have the full unpacking services.’ I told her about my issues from the start and how I had stated repeatedly that I needed full services, was told I was paying for full services and now was finding out that was not so. I stated how much more plain could I have been to let you know I needed full services? How else should I have said it? She said I’m sorry there’s nothing that can be done. I asked if I could receive even part of the additional money I had paid since I hadn’t received full services and was told no. I submitted the internal review through United and have not hear back from them about this experience. Now, I have to submit a claim for a $900 desk that raises and lowers which was irreparably damaged. My items were not kept organized by room, but rather unloaded and left in the garage. So now I have to find time to sift through and unpack my belongs to find items that are separated. My Keurig water container is packed somewhere not with the machine. My remotes that raise and lower my bed are packed somewhere, not with my bedroom boxes or bed, so the bed function is useless to me.Overall, it was a nightmare on top of an already stressful move. If I could give negative stars, I would.

A disaster from start to finish!! We moved from San Tan Valley AZ to Wyoming in July 2021. Labeling of boxes the movers packed was very scant, and handwriting nearly illegible. Paperwork was even worse to read. On morning of the move, no one showed up until we called the coordinator. Then they showed up with a truck that was too small. This required getting another truck to finish. They took our household goods to storage which we hadn't anticipated or been told about. It appeared to us that everything had been removed from moving blankets because everything was covered with dust when we received it. The arrival of our goods was later than the window of time given to us. Our move in day was nearly 3 weeks later than first anticipated. The unloaders took the blankets off of our furniture in the truck and dollied things into the house without cushioning, thus marring our living room furniture. Boxes were not put in designated rooms. Movers were calling out tag numbers and going in and out two different doors so we missed a lot of items that were multiples. For example there were 4 camp chairs labeled under one item number, but only 2 chairs were delivered. Who knows who got the other 2 chairs! This also happened with 2 shelves from our TV stand. One shelf showed up, the other did not, although the item number was called out and checked off. The movers unloading our goods and left without telling us they were leaving. They didn't put together the items the movers took apart at our former house as we were told they would. The only one left was the truck driver who stayed and helped put our bed together. As we unpacked boxes over the next several weeks we found a box with no labels or writing at all (possibly repacked in the warehouse??), with glass antiques in the bottom and an iron skillet resting on top of them, thus breaking them. This is just one example of the poor handling throughout this move. We spent a lot of hours documenting damages and losses, finding receipts and replacement costs before we turned in our claim. We moved in July 30, 2021, filed damage claim in Feb 2022 and finally agreed on settlement amount (after many calls, texts and frustration) Jun 22, 2022. We were told it would take 8-10 weeks for processing. It took about 20 weeks to get the check. Communication was extremely poor during the entire move. I would not recommend AAction Movers in Mesa to anyone!!!

From start to finish this company was amazing. AAction Movers was available and willing to help Word Of Life Arizona move from AMC theater to a new and permanent location. They are very professional in packing, in transport and delivery. Very efficient and were extremely careful with all items. Delivery was made in a very professional way. they were extremely careful when bringing it all in. I would recommend this company to anyone 100%

AAction Movers was an incredible blessing to us! There was so much to move in so little time and they came in and took care of A LOT of rooms in an incredibly short amount of time, so we didn't have to.I also want to mention the friendliness of their team! It is always nice to work with kind people!Thank you!

Our move from AZ to NY was a disaster. The logistical and delivery performance was horrible. The driver/leader was inexperienced resulting in poor communication between him and the other workers.1. Movers came two hours late. They did not put down anything to protect the rugs or floors resulting on them being trampled on with dirt and grim.2. They arrived w/o sufficient boxes/packing material to do the job. I had to go to U-Haul to purchase needed material.3. Because they did not bring garment boxes, they stuffed cloths into any box that was available resulting in many of them needing to be cleaned/pressed.4. Items were damaged. They broke part of a 200-year-old antique spinning wheel, they destroyed a standing lamp, I could go on.5. They did not ship all of our stuff in one load.6. The first load arrived unannounced. A day earlier, we were told by the company assigned to receive the load in NY that it was still in AZ. Prior to contacting the people in NY, I had tried to get some info from A Action, but to no avail. Consequently, we were not at our new home. They had to wait over three hours until the driver was able to locate us.7. I called AAction many times for updates and did not receive any call back. When I did talk to an agent, they did not have the information needed available. BTB, United was not very helpful here either. Their tracking system did not tell me where our load was in transit.8. They missed the window of when they promised to have our stuff delivered by almost two weeks.9. They stuffed the overload (the second shipment) into crates resulting in many boxes being crushed resulting in some items being damaged.10. To top things off, they packed and shipped items they were told not to pack and move.As I said, a complete disaster from AAction Movers!!!!UPDATE: On 09/26 the owner of AAction Movers responded to my review. It only took a week. I am not very impressed by the response. I had emailed the person directly responsible for planning our move 2 times during the week after posing my review requesting some financial redress for the damage to our property and delay in completing the delivery of our furnishings to NY. No response!I do not see how this lack of direct communication on their part over a period of almost two months is in any way an indication that they care about the customers they are serving. I should note that I had over thirty years’ experience in business, as well as teaching Philosophy, teaching subjects that included business ethics, and managerial and professional ethics. Enough said.Update 10/20/2022One would thiink that after sendng them picutes of some of the damage they did to some of our belongings, that they would have directlly contacted me to discuss this matter But alas, No!.AAction Movers has a 4.1 rating, which is just above 80% custtomer satisfaction, barely above average The money they make from all their moves covers any statistical lose of business insofar as they would take this into account when pricing new moves. Of course, this is also offest if they do not acknoweldge the harm they have caused directly to those they have harmed, and is some meaningufl way comepensated them for their lose. Does this help to explain their lack of good customerr service as it pertains to lack of directly communicating with their dissatisfied customers?

I will say that the driver for United, Arthur Brown who drove the first load, and his crew from NY, and the people from Schaap Moving Systems, who delivered the overload shipment once it was delivered from AZ, were very professional and did an outstanding job at this end.

Folks BEWARE! I moved from AZ to NC 2 years ago with this company. I should’ve taken action against them, but didn’t. Shame on me for not following up. Broken furniture, and missing close to 100 boxes. They offered no resolution and told me all of my boxes were sent. Not according to my check off list. All I can say is be vigilant and watch them like a hawk.
