I went in and asked a question I simply needed direction for the area where I would find the right stuff for my vehicle and the lady helping me acted like i was just suppose to know or assume and not ask her when I simply wanted to find this specific stuff and she gave me a rude attitude and wasn't very welcoming

👎Nope, hands down on this location customer service lacked today other times help was beneficial with other employees. Today's weren't if the half a star option was Available that'll be my rating today cussing, dragging foot steps that can be heard from a mile away on one employee lmao where's the motivation one grey shirt should've helped from the back but instead was loud speaking the directions to a red shirt I couldn't even hear because of the background noise. Other times have been better than today's visit with different employees they've had. 👎

Came in to order 2 NTK downstream O2 sensors, they found them at other stores & had them transferred. Said they'd call but didn't, whatever I came to pick them up. Wasn't until I go to install days later that one is used. Not like returned because it didn't fit, it was actually dirty & old. Came back to exchange & they tell me none are available in the area. So after 3 trips to this store I'm back to square one. Shoulda just ordered from Rock Auto for less?!!

This is for the 1045 S Gilbert Rd #101 location in Mesa. I ordered a battery online for my truck for an in-store pickup. When the order was ready, I called and asked if they would be able to install the battery for my wife (I was at work and couldn't pick up the battery myself). The employee/manager (named Josh) said he would take a look at the truck when she got there and see if they could do it (they can, they have done it in the past, it's a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500 - not rocket science here).
When my wife went to pick up the battery, Josh said he wouldn't install it because it is too hot outside. This left my wife stranded because the battery (which had been working, but slowing down on the crank) gave up the ghost and the truck would no longer start. Josh refused the install for my wife! She called me and I instructed her to get a refund as this location doesn't deserve customer money if they are going to treat a woman, or anyone, like this! Josh tried to order my wife out of the store without even providing a refund! She called me and, after I had words with Josh (he's a sorry excuse for a man), he at least refunded the charge.
Luckily, another customer overheard the conversation and offered to jump start the truck for her. It is good to know that there are helpful people out there (unlike Josh, who needs to put his man pants on)!
Side note: The other location (2744 E McKellips Rd, Mesa) installed the new battery 30 minutes later for my wife without a single gripe and were very friendly. I will leave them a good review.

This is going and dedicated to Josh and Dom at the Gilbert and Southern AutoZone store 2796 you guys have been awesome from day one every time that I have come into the store you guys have gone out of your way to help me you guys have gone beyond helping me I have been an annoying customer because I would have been in order to myself but you guys always kept a smile you always kept respectfully you guys just respected me with so much courtesy you guys are awesome Josh and Dom you guys are number one csrs for AutoZone in my book and they need to give you guys a little bonus because you guys been amazing and I know that you guys do that to all the customers you guys are just one of a kind csr God bless and take care

I have been going to this autozone for 5 years. Every time I have a pleasant visit. They have let me use their tools to check many things on my car. I have had my battery replaced multiple times with no hassle, always in and out so quickly and staff is always to friendly. I appricate the staff here. Thank you for your help always.

Hit or miss with some of the workers here. Depends on the mood they are in unfortunately. Credit due where it is earned to those who are good which is why I'm not giving them a 1. My vehicle wasn't turning on so I took it here down the street since they advertise free battery check. Was told my battery was good; he double checked and informed of that. I ended up going to AN Chevy Mesa and where they checked my battery with the same device and he told me I had a bad battery. So I went to O'Reilly's where they had the battery in stock and they installed it for me with no problem. They even offered to check my battery beforehand to make sure I wasn't buying a new battery for no reason.

Josh was super quick to ask if I needed help when looking for motor oil. He was very knowledgeable.Arrianna was very helpful when I asked multiple questions she was patient and looked everything up for me and even printed out the info I needed. Jarrett was quick to help any customer that walked thru the door. Aaron was stocking the over head items really quickly. It was nice to see a store that was very well stocked. Not one of them was just standing around they were all being very productive. Store was very clean. Thanks for dealing with me and my kids and all my questions
