Made an appointment for a morning appointment. They call shortly before the appointment yo tell me the online booking is not accurate. Already planned time off work to bring in my sick pup. So they cancel me less than an hour from time. Now, I missed work and income for nothing. Now they call 1.5 hours before the next time they gave me for appointment. Which I again had to schedule off again. So now, a whole entire day wasted and lost income. Not to mention I now can not get my puppy in , and if it ends up being serious, I now have to wait for another day, which could lead to an elevated risk of serious illness. This is also not the first time this has happened to me.

Overall good experience. Be aware they actually close at 2 pm on Saturdays, not 5pm. 5 pm is on their Google hours and posted hours, but when I arrived to drop off my dog's urine sample at 2:58pm they said they closed at 2pm.

I rarely leave such a negative review. Check them out, I am serious, but my experience with transitioning my 4 pound Yorkie from Banfield to a local vet cinched this one for me. We had the Banfield Optimum wellness plan for "Chance" (named based on the small chance of him surviving to adulthood) from the first days we got him at 2 weeks old, and everything was wonderful. As he grew and was healthy, his plan transitioned from a puppy plan to an adult dog plan. My wife and I weighed the cost versus the potential liability and agreed to try it for a year. When the year was through we discussed it again and decided it was not paying for itself and to discontinue it. Canceling a wellness plan with Banfield is as difficult as canceling a health club membership - maybe even more so. After completing Chance's annual check-up she tried to cancel it - which she clearly remembers doing while at the Banfield site, with the help of their employee. However after a couple of months, I noticed the fee still being charged. Going back to Banfield they informed us, that the plan was still in effect even though we thought it was canceled, we had moved and switched to a local Vet. After repeated calls to the "customer service" number shown for canceling on their website, and 4 menus later we were able to "get in line" for a call back. The only problem is that they block their number so my phone wont allow it to ring through. Why they block their number, I can't imagine, but they did leave a message so I found out that they did call back. Now here is the crazy part. #1, I am not authorized to cancel the policy charged to my credit card because my wife was the original name on the wellness plan. This says SCAM all over it! Please don't make this mistake! So hopefully today is the end of the story. My wife called back and was told it was canceled, however the extra months from when she was originally told it was canceled will not be refunded. I am tempted to dispute them since she was told it was taken care of at that time. Let them prove it was/or wasn't agreed to.Last word. SCAM. Buyer beware. Remember the canceling health club memberships and this is the next one of those. Why can a Banfield location sign you up or make changes to your plan so easily and NOT BE ABLE TO CANCEL IT! That should have been my first clue that this was not a great thing.

The staff has been amazing here. I've brought three dogs here over the years and my husband and I just brought our puppy here yesterday. I was reminded at how kind they are! We found out our puppy has Giardia and the staff was so gracious in answering all our questions and dealing with the emotions that came along with it. They were so kind and informative. Also shoutout to Benny who answered a myriad of questions on the phone and was so kind the entire time. Banfield has always been helpful and their wellness plan is well worth it.

I took my dog Zoey in for a dental procedure and their doctor completely missed teeth with roots exposed. We had to fight them to not have to pay for a 2nd surgery since it was their doctor's mistake (which we had confirmed by another Banfield doctor). After that, we ended up paying for stuff we were told we would not have to pay. It has been A NIGHTMERE getting a hold of anyone - having to call and email constantly. My dog is STILL in pain and they will not give me answers. We took her to a completely different vet and they confirmed the pain is still coming from her mouth. It took me 3 days and threatening to report them to the AZ Vet Medical Examining Board to get my records sent to me and upon getting them they were INCOMPLETE.I am now being told to wait while they review everything and decide if they are going to refund me. I have to go to another vet and start all over again. Costing me over $3400 out of pocket to redo what Banfield should have done in the first place. I have spent over $1500 already with Banfield to have nothing change with my dog, have her constantly on pain meds and antibiotics and be told that her mouth isn't the cause of her pain. Even though I had a dental specialist confirm that it still is!DO NOT go to this location. DO NOT let Dr. Krumins touch your pet - she doesn't update notes and she overlooks things and makes more issues later on.There is only 1 Doctor I trust at Banfield and unfortunately, I have to choose between seeing her and continuing to give Banfield money or just completely starting over with another Doctor for my dogs.Laura, the area manager is dismissive and will not respond at all to you. She completely ignored everything and started questing if I was the one who didn't authorize teeth pulled (the ones that were missed) when that's NEVER been the case. The records state that my dog's anal glands were also fine up until when they decided to blame all the pain on her anal glands being impacted. However, the doctor expressed them, and she is still in pain.Thankfully they allowed me to cancel my wellness plan but I am still mad that I cannot get a refund and now have to pay over $3400 to completely redo everything. Just save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.

Great staff, great service but very difficult to make appts. Then i have to hope they don't cancel the appt. due to staff not showing up or quitting! The front desk staff is so great though, in dealing with my frustration! I cannot feel like i can depend on them offering excellent care when our pets need it! Maybe theyneed to check their work environment to ensure they keep their workers!

Have my pets on the medical insurance plan. I always thought they would cover all medical conditions. I was wrong with that on so many levels. I took my dog in several visits as she had grown a lump under her chest. The vet dr and staff told me it was a fatty lump. It eventually go larger and larger, I took her back in the punctured it in several place to drain and take a piece for a biopsy. It came back and the said it wasn't cancer but would recommend a second opinion from a specialist? They eventually gave me antibiotics and anti-inflammatory pills. Less than a week later it shrunk to a manageable sitzt. I became an open wound where the sitzt went away but would need stitches to close a open wound the size of a quarter. I called asking them to stitch her they said they would not see her again until she saw a specialist for the wound. They caused the wound and they will not stitch her up. I think its a crock of BS from there add that says they will do anything for pets. Never allow them to puncture your pets wounds as the don't take responsibility for the after effects. I am extremely pissed off at the way they are conducting themselves and not taking care if my dog. "Well do anything for pets" is a B.S. statement. I have 5 pets on their insurance plan and I know have to start searching for another system and or provider that will do anything for pets.

Before my cats dental cleaning appointment I was asked if I wanted his nails trimmed. I said no. So whyyyyy did they STILL TRIM HIS NAILS??? I voiced my concern and was told I was get a call back from the doctor within a couple days. This was on 4/20, so why is it now 10days later I have NOT received a call back, an acknowledgement nor an apology. I seriously don't understand especially because this is the 2ND time that this has happened! Do they ask just because it sounds good however intend to do whatever they want? It's beyond frustrating it's complete incompetence!! Had I gotten at the least an acknowledgement of the mistake there would be no reason for a review. My suggestion is when you are asked questions please look the person dead in the eye with your answer AND have them repeat your answer. Either they do not care what you say or do not comprehend answers to the questions they ask. Either way it is unacceptable!!!

Terrible service I used to bring my adorable cat for her preventing care. All I can say is this people don't care about your animal.
