Bashas at 1122 N. Higley is my go to grocery store in Mesa. It is the friendliest grocery store I have ever known. The sales people there remember you and help you in every possible way. The bakery is the best in town, the meats are top notch, and the produce is always well stocked as well as fresh and delicious. I visit that store usually two or three times a week, and have for the past 18 years. In all that time I have never once been disappointed in their service, or their products, and I can't say that about many other stores.

Bashas has improved on the price of a few items but is still very expensive throughout the store.I love Bashas bakery, but the Jessica Lord pumpkin pie is the worst pie I've ever eaten.Employees are always friendly.

Manager JC of this location has been telling false bad stuff about certain employees to regular customers which creates a Hostile work environment and yet no one in management has done anything about this. Along with her inappropriate behavior.

Ordered a cake for my son's 36th birthday. Ordered one day before at 5:00pm and they had it ready for me the next day at 1:00pm. The cake was delicious! Moist and not too sweet on the icing. It was perfect! I WILL BE COMING HERE FOR ALL MY CAKE NEEDS!!!

I don't shop Bashas very often but I was very impressed lots of people that work there were friendly and you didn't have to look around to find somebody. Everything was very organized shelves were very full with everything that you might need. Probably nowadays more importantly the prices seem to be about the same as Walmart to be honest. I just thought Bashas was more expensive I will start going here more often.

They don't carry mush healthy stuff at all. Not even organic meat. I have left 2 times with a cart full of groceries because the line was so long I would not make it back to work in time as I like to go on my lunch break. Never again will ship there! Eddie Basha would not be happy if he was still alive. Sprouts I go for the good food. Not the lab grown meat Bashas' has

Basha’s is old school in a good way when it comes to customer service. They are my go to grocery store, specifically, because they help me avoid stepping foot in Walmart. That in itself is priceless. For example, unlike Walmart, I don’t fight for parking spaces, I don’t have to watch people walking around the store in pajamas, or in ratty swimwear, with their nasty unmentionables hanging out - and every Basha’s store is clean with decent prices and great selection. Best of all, Basha’s doesn’t seem to have the aggravating practice of switching up inventory locations to keep me guessing where things are in the store. Like most guys, I hate shopping, so I’m in and out. That’s what keeps me coming back. No weirdness and just fast grocery errands. Plus they actually have real people to ring up and bag my groceries! Like I said - old school, but great.

The bathrooms were filthy... I went into the women's restroom and there was dirty clothes on the top of the toilet, toilet paper everywhere besides where it belongs and looks like the door, counters, and stall hadn't been washed or cleaned in months... my husband took our son to the men's bathroom and didn't even feel comfortable letting him go in there while he's being potty trained. He said piss is everywhere and it's filthy. This Is a bashas that a lot of elderly people shop at, I can't believe the filth in the bathrooms. I also was waiting at customer service for over 7 minutes before being acknowledged by one person when there were three people at the registers with no customers. Pay attention and be mindful of the mess..

I just want to thank Jessica for helping me today at checkout. I have shopped here multiple times and she is the first one to tell me I can set up my Bashas savings just by simply texting a number that is hanging up. I didn't realize it was that simple to do unlike Frys. Thank you!

Unfortunately this place gets worse all the time. The Deli is awful, salads always look old, the help is slow and very unfriendly. Got some coleslaw, one bite at home and had to throw it out.Not sure why this grocery store has gone downhill so bad.

I have a certain loyalty to Basha's fro working there while I attended college, 6 years. It was a great family run company that took excellent care of their employees. One of the reasons that they never unionized.Since they were bought up by a California based company last year they've experienced a significant decline. The largest problem being that the new ownership brought the California prices with them. What used to cost 12 or 13 dollars now costs 23 or 24. Some items I buy regularly are often out stock or discontinued. I'm not sure their buyers are tuned in to AZ. yet. The deli at my shop is often closed at 3 in the afternoon and seldom open after 5 on weekdays. This to me indicates they're struggling, an it shows. If I were a member of the Basha family I would want my name retired.

I use their pharmacy, which is much cheaper than CVS or Fry's and the service is much better than Fry's. My medications are always in stock, too.
