I recently opened an account with PNC, but I'm perplexed by the presence of tellers and bankers. Entering the branch, I hoped for decent customer service—a rarity these days as corporations seem to have forgotten the importance of treating customers well. After completing a mobile deposit, I was notified of a one-week hold on the deposit. Seeking assistance inside, both the banker and teller were unable to provide solutions or even explain the reason behind the hold. They seemed lost, navigating their computer screens aimlessly—almost as if they were browsing a lunch menu rather than seeking answers. The teller didn't even ask for my account information; instead, she sat behind the counter, idly scrolling on the monitor, lost in speculation.Leaving the branch frustrated, I decided to reach out to the call center, and to my surprise, they were helpful! A young lady there released a portion of the funds and assured me I'd receive the rest of my deposit the following day—which indeed happened. It's baffling that the teller and banker didn't offer the office phone to call customer service for assistance, why are we sitting in this big office with a phone and desk? Put it to use, they simply shrugged, offering no answers or solutions. It begs the question: what's the point of banking with PNC? What do they offer besides frustration? Why bother having branches if the employees aren't helpful? We can handle transfers and other tasks via the app or over the phone. The real solution lies in comprehensive customer service training and offering the same level of service provided by the call center. If that's not possible, it would be less frustrating for customers if they just closed their branches altogether.I will be going to Wells Fargo.

Horrible. Got rid of PNC Back in my life. Never again. The "cashiers" checks they give to customers do not scan properly and other banks. Had to drive all the way back to the branch, cash it in order to get my own money. If it were me, they'd charge me a fee for a bad check. I'M DONE WITH PNC BANK!!!! Never again will I do business with this massive terrible corporation. EVER! Confusing terrible online banking user experience, horrible customer service, and scam you out of your money with ever changing policies so they can charge FEE$ FEE$ FEE$. Moved my money to a credit union with REAL FREE CHECKING. Good riddance PNC.

Everytime I go into this bank I tell my self, close your account and find another bank. Their customer service is the worst and I can put up with all the other nonsense but that.

One thing I like about this location is that it's open on Saturdays for banking needs. Derek waited on me on this visit and was beyond awesome. He is really welcoming and charming and his customer service skills are first class all the way,

PNC sucks! I will be closing my account. Loved BBVA. Not sure how PNC was big enough to acquire them because they are terrible.

Customer service could improveI have had many issue with BBVA before they merge with PNC in issues continue. I'm really considering leaving. I have had so many issues with this new bank account it's ridiculous. The level of customer service to isn't acceptable. One thing that frustrated me they decided to merge on payday so I could not access any of my money and it put me in a tough situation with bills. Plus there was a holiday after that so we had to wait an extra day. I had to call all the bills I had to pay and postpone them. Almost all my bills that I have set up the new bank with has not stuck and I'm having to re-add them multiple times. As soon as I pay off my balance I am leaving this Bank. I will not recommend this bank to anybody.

I seriously would have given them 0 stars if it was possible.. Set up an appointment with the branch manager I showed up a couple minutes early he didn't show up at all.. Staff claimed that he wasn't the one that set up the appointment. Someone else was.. Then the other excuse was something came up. But instead of calling someone and letting me know instead they let me drive 20 miles out of my way for nothing. The banker that was there was giving her entire life history to 2 gentlemen at her desk and swearing profusely. This is probably the most unprofessional bank I have ever seen in my life and I would never bank there! Don't waste your time or money!!!

So I had an account with BBVA compass. I had fraud commited on my account a few months back so they said they would close it. They said they would dispute the charges. They did not ever do that for some reason. Now the stimulus went in, they took the money for the fraud that someone did, and the rest they kept for overcharge fees . They said I can't file a dispute now it's too late. So just be warned this bank does not care and takes all your money!

Cancelling account first thing tomorrow. BBVA decided to block my account and then took over 12 hours to fix the issue. Only after I called 14 times and spent over 3 hours in total on hold was the card activated again. Missed a deadline for a payment (accruing a charge) and my merchandise that I waited all day to get was sold. No Christmas present either. The absolute worst part of it all was tonight was my night in a Meal Train for my boss who is 5 months pregnant with a young child and a husband who is terminally ill. A simple gesture that would have meant a lot I'm sure. What a mess and when I asked for help I got the run around and placed on hold again. Was even told "I will not be transferring you to my manager" on a recorded call. I will never use this bank again. 12 hours with no money and they are like "oh well. The only ones that can help are a "short" hold away" no empathy or compassion. They wouldn't be so cool and collected if it was their card. Stick to local banks.
