Just an absolute horrible bank that should’ve stayed in Canada. Pick any other bank before you try this pathetic excuse for a financial institution. The employees that they don’t lay off will inevitably leave. I’m sorry to say I can’t wait to see these hypocrites fail.

Am currently waiting for my promotion that was promised for almost a month and a half, no return call yesterday after speaking to rep in person last week and was told it would be there yesterday, still nothing but crickets. I'll update and change my review if anything changes... till then don't expect to get promotions... This is an update: Received a email saying that they're working on it but no explanation, feels like just getting run around, been a week now since last post... 12/21 got a call saying that my promotion would be in my account today, so far nothing.. 12/21 again nothing...12/28 still no promotion it's the marketing department fault according to last email... at this point guessing just not gonna get the fake promotion...

When you're making a business deposit and you pull up to the Drive up teller window the activity of the tellers inside is visible. When you sit there for 5 minutes and you can see the teller sharing pictures on his phone and discussing a book that he has laying behind the counter so you finally ring the bell and he comes over to tell you he has a customer in front of you and you'll have to wait. Only for him to return to non-banking related conversation with the customer at the counter. Terrible customer service not to mention ridiculously unprofessional

Manager and customer service representative are extremely rude and unprofessional. They spoke in Spanish behind the counter and were saying rude things unassuming and unaware that I'm bilingual and could understand them

I had a issue with my account I wanted to dispute i kept getting the run around at this point it took 1 week and still didn’t get no where at this point I feel like I was being lied to just to get me to leave them alone not satisfied

I am in the process of switching my direct deposit from one checking account with BMO to another BMO account. Because of this transition, I received a paper check. I was used their mobile app to deposit the check since it was on a Saturday and I thought this branch was closed. Due to depositing through the app, my funds were not immediately available, which is understandable. I was thinking that the funds should be available Monday or Tuesday at the latest, as there should be no issues since this is a payroll check and not a personal check. Tuesday morning, less than 20% of the check was made available.I went into the bank to see why this was and to ask if they could make the rest of the funds available as I had bills to pay and had already waited a long time for this check to be processed. The teller explained that there was a hold on the funds because of depositing through the app, but that the money should be available tomorrow. I asked if they could override this and make the funds available now. He went to the bank manager to see if that was possible.The bank manager, who is a very nice lady, came over and said that she would override the hold this time but that in the future, I should just come into the bank and not use the mobile app. She went away, presumably to override the hold, then came back and informed me that she almost didn't remove the hold because of previous overdrafts on my account. I explained that these happen from time to time because of annoying auto-drafts that seem to always come a day or two before payday, but that I am working on fixing this so that it doesn't continue to happen. She then proceeds to very politely scold me about these overdrafts and went as far as blaming my wife for them as we primarily use her debit card for most transactions. She then tells me that I should move a few hundred dollars into a savings account and not tell my wife, this way there would be money to pull from in case of an overdraft.This was not only unnecessary, but absolutely unprofessional behavior. She is my banker, not my financial advisor. I was so taken back by this that I considered closing out both of my accounts with BMO on the spot. Instead, I thanked her for her advice and went home. I refuse to use this BMO branch from here on out, even though the next closest branch to my house is 6 miles away. Scolding customers about their finances should be a terminable offense. In addition to leaving this review, I will be reaching out to the corporate offices and filing an official complaint on her.The reason this is two stars and not one is that every other employee that I have dealt with is always super nice. As I mentioned previously, the manager was nice too, but her behavior was completely uncalled for, even though she did it "nicely."

I have always had outstanding service at this Branch, the new staff is amazing! Friendly courteous and willing to help even with COVID-19! Thank you for being essential workers and coming in every day!

Outstanding business services and financial help. I would highly recommend an account at thsi branch if your looking for solutions to Covid related issues, they were able to get me the needed funds to cover my bills during business shutdown. I am very happy with the service I received, The Manager Jenni is awesome.

Worst bank ever....My in-laws Deposited their $2900 stimulus check 04/27/20 at 4:30 pm in the ATM and after putting the check inside the machine it was processing for more than 2 minutes and after that ATM machine just shutdown and screen said this terminal is temporary available we’re sorry for the inconvenience. Went back to the bank the following morning to talk to the tellers because they close at 4pm and they said they not sure what to do. They just took our phone # and they said they gonna call us back if they find out anything. Fast forward now 05/08/20 still nothing. Talk to the VP lady of that branch and she doesn’t have a clue what to do because she said they don’t own the ATM machine by the drive thru. What a joke BMO bank. If anyone could help my in-laws please let us know.
