Literally walked out. Woman is awful. Claimed it is required to spend more on the insurance($68) than the cost of the rental ($40). Claimed it is required I pay for it or they are unwilling to rent a vehicle to me. She was condescending and rude and seemed like she took pride in being so.

just like all the other reviews, this place is a joke. you reserve a truck go in to pick it up and they don't have any available, dont waste your time.

This place sucks!!! like other people have stated already here, you reserve a truck, months in advance, and when you contact them asking about your rental, there are no trucks available. thank god PENSKE GUARANTEES THEIR RESERVATIONS!!!

If I could give zero stars I would... everytime I used budget I want to kick myself in the face. They have the worst customer service. They outsource every call so it hard to understand your representative and vice versa.Called in to book a truck a week ago cause the website was giving me issues. Walked thru the process with the lady and after I spelt everything out for her slowly and concisely she still spelt my name wrong and sent my confirmation email to an entirely wrong person. I never recieved confirmation so a day later I went on with the reservation number to confirm she processed it and there it was with wrong email and name.. so I fixed the issues and proceeded packing . A few days later I went back on to confirm the changes as well as my pick up time and to my suprise it was showing as canelled. I wrote in to customer care and they said I called and canelled it. Which I didnt...if they would have put the right email and name it would have never been sent to someone random and canelled by that random person.. budget said they were unable to help me rebook because I canceled it. Which I didn't. They had my right number .. probably saw the changed and ignored it.. they let a random person cancel my order with my credit card number on it. Thank God I saw this before my move date or I would have been screwed. Booked with a new company will never used budget again and will. Tell everyone about my terrible expurences as to not go thru this again. Just quit while youre ahead budget

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a truck rental. The lady who's works there told me i had to have the truck back a half hour before the time i had agreed upon in my online invoice. She explained that shes was leaving no matter what once the trucks were rented out. Made it back in time and was made to wait 1 half hour outside on a cold day.. dropped my key in the truck when she had.me park it and then when I asked to look for it have me a huge attitude. When I couldn't find it in the 2mins she gave me to look she hopped in her car while I was still looking around for it. My motorcycle was stuck there for a day. When I came back and asked to look once more she told me I need to move it or it would be towed. Called a locksmith. DO NOT DO BUSINUESS WITH THIS COMPANY. ABSOLUTE TRASH.

If i could rate this business a 0 i would. I had a reservation an was running late cause had to wait for ride. Kim told us we had 10 minutes to get there cause she was closing. She was very rude and disrespectful. Get there and her attitude continued after i appologized numerous times for running late. I had my reservation for one price but she tells me a higher price then went to pay with cash an she tried adding on another $150 making it almost $400 more than price i had. She kept throwing attitude an trying to push tbeir insurance on me but i kept telling her no. Finally said i was gonna just leave to put money on card to bypass extra $150. She said she was making the appointment for the following day and make sure im there on time an how irresponsible for not being on time and if late she will just close. I did not confirm the next day appt and 3 days later a $150 charge was processed for budget on my card. I disputed it an got my money back then was checking my transactions again an notice a $75 charge this time saying no show fee. Disputing it with bank as well. This place is shady as they come an doing anything to try an get money from people. I WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

I had a long distance, and rather chaotic move planned. I booked my budget truck for the best price at KM Rentals.There was some confusion (my fault completely) with the reservation. K tried countless times to reach me regarding the issue unsuccessfully.On moving day, she called me first thing to offer help resolving the issue. She found me the truck we needed, at a time when ZERO trucks are available.Mind you, she didn’t get a penny of revenue for her time. That is customer service with pride and passion. How you do one thing, is how you do everything. I highly recommend KM Rentals

We had a reservation set up back in September for a cross state move. 3 days prior to us getting our Truck we call in to arrange pick up and they canceled on us. The owner was rude, rushed, and simply took no effort in trying to solve the issue. She simply said they don't have the trucks so they can't give us one. It ended up forcing us to rent last minute and pay 3x the amount. I would NEVER use this company or their service.

Made a reservation for a cross country move 4 weeks prior to move. Truck and auto transport trailer were set for pickup on Sunday. I get a call on Friday prior saying they don't have a tranport trailer for me. 2 days prior to pickup I have no trailer. Then they charge me for not canceling the reservation 48 hours prior. The person that called me said if he had time at would try to find me the reserved equipment.

BEFORE YOU READ, SIMPLY DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE.tldr: had a very bad experience with owner (assuming) over various phone calls, got cussed out and had reservation cancelled.I don't normally leave 1 star reviews because I believe in the benefit of the doubt for many businesses and certain things that are out of their control, and don't wish to hurt a business simply out of spite but these people takes the cake. We had made a reservation for a 10' a week ago to be used on Friday. Kim calls about 3 days before reservation to say they might not have the truck we need with a growing attitude as they speak. That's fine I chalk it up to simply a long busy day but they persist and keep calling. We make it clear we want the 10' and it's not our fault their website isn't updated to show what they really have (yes a Karen move but our patience was waning), we're offered a 16' and said it was fine but we reserved a 10' and want to pay for the 10' price for the inconvenience. That same day Kim kept calling asking if we wanted to truck with more and more attitude, with some back and forth and some choice words they settle saying they'll get back to us. No response. It's today now, tomorrow is our reservation and I make a call, no answer. I make another call, straight to voicemail, this repeats. I shouldn't have but I did keep calling back because I didn't want to leave a voicemail, I don't trust them at this point but still need a truck and after reading reviews I suspect the same is about to happen to us. In total I called 7 times, 5 at 1:30pm finally leaving a voicemail, another at around 3pm to which someone picked up, shouted "stop!" into the receiver and hung up. Okay then, we call back one more time through my girlfriend's number to which we get a lovely greeting of "what the heck do you want?" We state that they haven't gotten back to us and want to know if the truck will be ready to which we got yet another beautiful reply of "I'm ducking closed (hours stated are 5pm close) and you called me 14 times in a row yes your ducking truck will be ready" (censored for your eyes). Kim calls back in a matter of minutes after that and says they cancelled our reservation. All I can say is, if you're pressed for a truck don't let yourself be abused just because you're desperate, don't do business here, don't give them your patronage. I pray they never get to do business ever again.

I've used Budget off and on for year's...never had a serious issue till now. We reserved a truck online December 1st without issue...have had their "concierge service" contact us almost daily..asking if we want upgrades, extra miles package, movers, insurance ect. Than today less than 72 hour before our move we get a call from Kim at this location. Stating our reservation is cancelled because they have no trucks in ALL OF AZ because of the weather...Which she very rude/sarcastically told me "I don't control the weather." Zero empathy or attempt to help resolve the issue from a business standpoint. Than I call corporate Budget and the Operations Manager tells me I was lucky to get such advanced notice and I should hire a different company. I don't expect miracles but I do expect a company to have better planning, some form of empathy, and proper customer service/leadership. From a company standpoint I wouldn't want either representing my business. Sadly their PPP (piss poor planning) is costing our family hundreds of $'s (which right before the holidays really stinks.). As far as I'm concerned any future business relationship both personally or professionally or positive referral is out the window. Sorry Budget you've lost a long term customer. BTW-Thanks to Uhaul availability we will move as planned. Absolutely more expensive but certainly more responsible with their vehicle management.

NEVER! I MEAN NEVER! Never get a budget truck, it will be the WORST decision of your life! They're trucks are unreliable, and they give HORRIBLE customer service. I was stranded in OK for 3 days with a broken down budget truck! They didn't refund me for the expenses of hotel rooms, the furniture and possessions the destroyed during the repacking of a SECOND truck which later also broke down. Unless you want to be left stranded, and broke, don't go with budget.
