CVS as a company and pharmacy are awful. If anyone tells you that you will get an alert when your prescription is ready, that should not be trusted. Instead to ensure you know when it's ready, you will either need to call back yourself, or just show up at the pharmacy and hope it's ready. What is more likely to happen though, is that they will "lose"the record of the prescription that they said they would fill for you, making you have to do more work on your end to just pickup your prescribed medications.

This CVS will threaten to place you on hold when you call to fill prescriptions and have questions about why you cannot refill on the app. They’ll also place you on-hold before letting you tell them about your prescription changes when they should have gotten a new script from your doctor. The pharmacist specifically named Fry will talk over you as well. I spoke to two men on the phone David was great friendly professional wanted to help and Fry was beyond rude and unprofessional. Might as well drive down and talk to them in person. Fry not only threaten to put me in “time out” for trying to talk over him and interrupt as he did me but he also never comes back. I’m beyond unhappy with this experience and if I could go anywhere else for a prescription I would but this is where my insurance covers.Twist, the story ends with my prepaying for my prescriptions to receive someone else’s prescription. Had to go back down to explain to them they provided me with another customers prescription and not my own. Shocked.

I’ve been putting up with this place for two miserable years.Yesterday was the last straw. I needed medication immediately for a kidney infection. Walking in the staff said they couldn’t run my insurance. I left speaking with my insurance to find that there is absolutely no issue and I should be covered. I called the pharmacy back and got Frye the manager. He was rude, short and had no helpful information. He said “all I can do is push a button and the button isn’t working. Call your insurance back they need to fix it”After two hours on the phone with my insurance company, I was told countless times I am completely covered and should have no issues (I was also told it is the pharmacy’s job to call insurance company’s if it isn’t working on their end)So I called the manager a THIRD time. He interrupted me, told me I was wrong and then HUNG UP ON ME.Meanwhile me, with a 104 temp and painful kidney infection, walks into a chandler CVS and my prescription is filled without an issue in 5 minutes! So obviously the CVS on brown road in Mesa simply does not care. No accountability whatsoever.Do not go to this CVS. I’m leaving CVS altogether after this experience along with my mom and grandma who all witnessed this phone call. Walmart Pharmacy it is.

I am honestly shocked at how rude the staff in the pharmacy are. I called to ask about a refill and the lady cut me off, didn't even let me finish my sentence and hung up without even saying bye. She was short and did not listen. Sadly, this is not first time I have come across this lady and she treated me the same way last time.

The pharmacy staff have always been super nice to me. I came in about 30 minutes before closing one night and they didn't have an antibiotic my boyfriend needed in stock. I asked if the script could be transferred to the 24 hour store. The tech said yes, and said she'd call them first to make sure they had it. I said it wasn't necessary, I knew they were closing soon and had other things they needed to do. And if they didn't have it, then I would still have to wait either way. But she insisted and called for me. Luckily they did have it and I was able to get the medication that night. These guys are under a lot of stress. They're overworked and understaffed (and most likely underpaid). Being impatient and snippy does not help your situation. A little patience, kindness and understanding go a long way. You'd be amazed at how much more willing someone is to go the extra mile when they know they're appreciated.

I stopped going to this location. One o the reasons was I was sick of having to walk in everytime for a script, but the main reason was how rude the pharmacy staff is. Every time I've gone it's at best indifference and at worst, rudeness with no additional assistance when something isn't working. Will not be returning as there are many better options locally.

Excellent customer service. Every empolyee there that I have met is very friendly. The store is clean and they have a lot of items in stock. The self check saves time too.

This is the worst place I have ever been to. I found a dead roach by the pharmacy station. The bathrooms were horrendous. I have problems with my insurance and getting my medication all the time. I'm never coming here again. The only good thing about this place was the female employees were very nice and understanding on why I was upset. The guy at the pharmacy was a emotionless prick. I have been having issues with the pharmacy here for years and so have my friends.

Brought my dad here to get his Covid shot. I shopped while I waited. The staff was friendly and store was clean. Shelves were stocked and pieces are decent.

The pharmacy staff had a bad attitude for no reason! I just needed my medication for blood pressure and they took over half an hour to fill it when I was told 15 minutes I don't mind waiting... but setting proper expectations is important and I would say just being courteous and having a good attitude would help!
